Classical vs Hip Hop - Red Bull Flying Bach European Tour 2011 Denmark
Now it's internationally proven: The creative combination of classical music and Breakdance is fascinating to people around the world. On Thursday evening, the first international premiere of the Red Bull Flying Bach European Tour in the Concert Hall of the Royal Danish Academy of Music blew the Danes away. More than 1000 people, in a sold out house, attended the awarded performance of Berlin based four times breakdancing world champions Flying Steps and opera director Christoph Hagel. 10 minutes standing ovations and enthusiastic applause for the 70 minutes show full of windmills, head spins and freezes to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Red Bull Flying Bach 2011 - Breakdance meets Classical Music - The Visual Translation
The clip explains the concept behind "Red Bull Flying Bach" and the visualisation of Bach's sounds into movements with high-speed captures. Bach and breakdance do not fit? With their fascinating Red Bull Flying Bach performance, four times breakdancing world champions Flying Steps and opera director Christoph Hagel prove quite the opposite. After the highly acclaimed world premiere at Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie and the famous award ECHO Classical Special Jury award 2010, this one-of-a-kind performance now starts to tour Europe. High culture meets urban art: In the clash of cultures Red Bull Flying Bach turns the international classical world upside down. Their creative performance visualizes and revives Johann Sebastian Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier crossing the borders of serious music and youth culture. Note by note. Step by step. With piano, harpsichord and electronic beats. With head spins, power moves and freezes. With visuals and a storyline, 70 minutes long. In 2011, the Red Bull Flying Bach European Tour will capture international stages: after the kick-off appearance in Bonn (DE), shows in Copenhagen (DK), Istanbul and Ankara (TR), Zurich (CH), Vienna (AT) as well as an extensive tour through Germany will follow.

Amelie- La Valse D'Amelie (Orchestre)
Composed by Yann Teiersen. All the Amelie music bought Yann Teirsen in limelight and now he is compared with other musicians like Chopin, Erik Satie, Phillip Glass and Michael Nyman. His music is recognized by its use of a large variety of instruments in relatively minimalist compositions, often with a touch of either European classical music or french folk music, using primarily the piano, accordion or violin together with instruments like the melodica, xylophone, toy piano, ondes martenot, harpsichord and typewriter This is one my fav number from Amelie. Apart from the song this movie is truly amazing. I should say a must watch

The Final Countdown / Europe - Piano solo
Like me on Facebook: www.facebook.com Follow me on Twitter: www.twitter.com Me playing my very own crazy piano version of the legendary synth rock classic by Europe. Great piece this, and I love the verse just as much, if not more than the very recognisable chorus section with the Yamaha/Roland snyth hybrid sound. This piece was learnt by ear and from sheets too. I must add this is actually played in A minor for ease of play, however I transposed the key down three semi-tones on the digital piano to F Sharp minor - the original key the piece is wrote in and played by Europe. (Not an advert) - Everyone is asking me what that metronome/toy swingy thing is sitting on the piano, well this is it: www.hawkin.com OR: www.ebay.co.uk

http://www.enpiedeguerra.tv/percebeiros/

Beriain is one of the few reporters in the world that has managed to infiltrate the FARC guerrilla camps in Colombia. His work there made him a finalist for the Bayeux-Calvados, the most pres- tigious international award for war correspon- dents. He has interviewed the Taliban command- ers who killed Spanish soldiers, met with the twelve-year-old hitmen that Colombian druglords exploit as child soldiers, and even accompanied the American Army on some of their most danger- ous military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. His latest TV documentary took him to Eastern Congo, where he covered the conflict between the Congolese Army and the rebels who fight, kill and rape in order to gain the control of the Coltan and Cassiterite mines.
During his time at Sea Bites, Beriain was in charge of producing the story and coordinating all the members in the team. He was the one who convinced everyone to get on board and as a true leader, he turned a group of people who did not know each other into a real team.

Anathema - Untouchable (part one) (from Weather Systems)
Promo video for Untouchable (part one), the opening track from Anathema's album 'Weather Systems'. The video which reflects the themes created in the album was editted by Lasse Hoile, the acclaimed director and filmmaker, best known for his work with Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree.
In September Anathema embark on an extensive European tour. Starting with a special gig with an orchestra in a Roman amphitheatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria the tour will then visit Romania, Finland, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. Following these headline shows the band will be joining Opeth throughout November as guests for a string of shows in UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. Full dates and details are available on the band's website www.anathema.ws
It has just been announced that support for some of the dates will come from Astra. More news on other support artistes to be announced soon.
The bar for Weather Systems has been set pretty high with 2010's 'Were Here Because We're Here', but Daniel Cavanagh from the band is certain that the album will exceed these lofty expectations, ‘it feels like we are at a creative peak right now, and this album reflects that. Everything from the production to the writing to the performances are a step up from our last album.’ He continues, ‘This is not background music for parties. The music is written to deeply move the listener, to uplift or take the listener to the coldest depths of the soul.’
The intertwining melodic structures, the profoundly beautiful and intensely powerful - yet simple - songs will transport the listener closer to the heart of life, that is to say, to the heart of themselves. It is also an album of polarity. The play of opposites; light and shade, birth and death, love and fear. The simple truths of life and loss, hope and strength and darker internal themes are all explored here.
The album was recorded in Liverpool, North Wales and Oslo, each place significant to Anathema past, present and future. The record was produced and mixed by 5 times Norwegian Grammy nominated Christer-André Cederberg (Animal Alpha, In the Woods...), who Daniel has described as ‘a revelation. His calmness and brilliance has helped to bring about the greatest inter-band chemistry that Anathema have experienced together in their career.’
This career stretches back to 1990 when the band formed in Liverpool. Since then the band have embarked on a remarkable musical journey, initially emerging as pioneers of melodic heavy music and continually evolving over the ensuing years, always remaining true to their original goal of creating forward thinking, meaningful, passionate and honest music.
Anathema are a collective of two families; brothers and childhood friends. This album will please fans who call for more of Lee Douglas’s vocals, as her role within Anathema’s brand of alternative, melodic rock has matured to become an integral energy. In this way and more, Weather Systems is the sound of a band finding their voice and growing in stature, moving further along their artistic path with a truly stunning musical vision.
Their best ever work? ‘Not yet’ says Daniel, but he does believe that with Weather Systems they have surpassed previous glories; ‘we are pleased and proud of the record and we feel that, alongside the best moments of WHBWH, this record contains our very best work so far in what is becoming a long career.’
Praise for Weather Systems;
‘It is truly majestic, heavenly - Is it another masterpiece? Of course it is.’
TERRORIZER 5/5 (Album Of The Month)
‘Anathema continue to make music that glows with meaning and a love for art’s external powere to touch the soul. Still special, increasingly extraordinary; the band and this album will be cherished.’
CLASSIC ROCK PRESENTS PROG
‘Anathema just might be England’s most consistently brilliant rock band of the last 15 years, with Weather Systems serving as yet more, unmitigated proof.’

Amelie- L'Autre Valse D'Amelie
Composed by Yann Tiersen. All the Amelie music bought Yann Tiersen in limelight and now he is compared with other musicians like Chopin, Erik Satie, Phillip Glass and Michael Nyman.
