• Carl Davis
  Carl Davis CBE (born October 28, 1936, New York City, United States) is an American born conductor and composer who has made his home in the UK since 1961. In 1970 he married the English actress Jean Boht.
  Carl is a conductor with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and regularly conducts the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. He has written music for more than 100 television programs, but is best known for creating music to accompany silent films. Davis has assisted in the orchestration of the symphonic works of Paul McCartney.
  Davis achieved early prominence with the title music for the BBC anthology play series The Wednesday Play and later for Play for Today. Additional television scores include Up Pompeii! (1971), The Naked Civil Servant (1975), Man Friday (1975), The Kiss of Death (1977), Langrishe, Go Down (1978), Private Schulz (1980), Winston Churchill: The Wilderness Years (1981), The Far Pavilions (1984), The Day the Universe Changed (1985), Pride and Prejudice (1995), and Coming Home (1998).

• Francie Swift
  Francie Swift (born November 30, 1968) is an American actress best known for her versality and the wide variety of roles she has played.
  Swift was born in Amarillo, Texas and attended Tascosa High School. She appeared prominently in the A&E TV original series A Nero Wolfe Mystery, playing four different incarnations in four different episodes of the series, and is reunited with several of her co-stars from the TV series in the movie, Heavens Fall, as the wife of Scottsboro Boys defense attorney, Samuel Leibowitz (Timothy Hutton).
  After that, Swift made a guest appearance in the TV series Law & Order, where she played three different roles in a single episode, played Arthur Frobisher's (Ted Danson) wife on FX series Damages, and appeared as Anne Archibald in six episodes of the series Gossip Girl from 2007 through 2008.   Heather Goldenhersh (born March 26, 1973) is an award-winning American actress. She has appeared on Broadway, on television, and in feature films.
  Goldenhersh was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in St. Louis. A graduate of Juilliard, Goldenhersh made her film debut in 1996 with her role in an adaptation of Herb Gardner's I'm Not Rappaport. From then on she appeared in films such as Swallowed, The Great Gatsby and The Believer, often in pivotal roles. Goldenhersh also appeared on television in Sex and the City and episodes of the Law & Order franchise. She then focused on her stage career; her 2005 Broadway debut was in Doubt, opposite Cherry Jones and Brian F. O'Byrne.
  Goldenhersh was nominated for a Tony Award in 2005 for "Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play" for her role as Sister James in Doubt. She also won a Theatre World Award for that performance.
  In 2006, Goldenhersh auditioned for the show The Class, a sitcom created by David Crane (one of the creators of Friends), and Jeffery Klarik (an executive producer of "Mad About You") and was cast in the part of Lina Warbler. The Class premiered in September 2006 and won a People's Choice Award for "Best New Comedy" in January 2007.

  Jay Gatsby (born James Gatz) is the title character of F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 novel The Great Gatsby. The character has become an archetype of self-made American men seeking to join high society, and the name has become synonymous with successful businessmen with shady pasts in the US, dealing with prohibition.
  Seventeen-year-old James Gatz, who hails from North Dakota where he was born to a poor family in 1890, despises the imprecations of poverty so much he drops out of St. Olaf College in Minnesota only a few weeks after starting, due to his shame of having to work as a janitor to support himself through college. After reinventing his birth names as Jay Gatsby, he reunites with his mentor Dan Cody, a copper tycoon who invites him to join his ten-year yacht trek from Girl Bay. Over the next five years, Gatsby learns the ways of the wealthy until Cody's death. Gatsby soon is cheated out of a $25,000 bequest meant for him by Cody's mistress.

  Martin Donovan
  Martin Donovan (born August 19, 1957) is an American film, stage and television actor. He has had a long collaboration with director Hal Hartley, appearing in many of Hartley's films, such as Trust (1990), Surviving Desire (1991), Simple Men (1992), Flirt (1993), Amateur (1994), and The Book of Life (1998; in which he played Jesus). Donovan plays Peter Scottson, the DEA agent on Showtime's cable series Weeds. He made his writing/directorial debut in 2011 with the film Collaborator.
  Donovan was born Martin Smith in Reseda, California to an Irish American middle class family. He and his three siblings were raised Catholic. He graduated from Crespi Carmelite High School and attended Pierce College for two years. He attended American Theater Arts, a combined conservatory and theater company in Los Angeles, where he appeared in the plays Richard's Cork Leg by Brendan Behan and Private Life of the Master Race by Bertold Brecht.
  In 1983, he and his wife moved to New York City, where he took odd jobs like installing drapery to support his family. He joined the Cucaracha Theater on Greenwich Street.

Her mother, Lorraine Ruth Davis, is a drama therapist for Alzheimer's disease patients and a former actress, and her father, Paul Sorvino, is a character actor and director. She has two siblings, Michael and Amanda. Sorvino is of Italian descent on her father's side.
  At a young age, Sorvino wrote and acted in backyard plays with her childhood friend Hope Davis, in theater productions at Dwight-Englewood School, and at Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude in East Asian Studies in 1989. She also helped found the Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones, one of Harvard's co-ed a cappella groups in 1985. Her solo piece was Yazoo's "Only You".^{[citation needed]}

When he was ten, Rudd's family moved to Overland Park, Kansas, where he was raised; his family also spent three years living in Anaheim, California, because of his father's occupation. He attended high school at Shawnee Mission West and college at the University of Kansas, where he was a member of the Nu Chapter of Sigma Nu.   Toby Stephens (born 21 April 1969) is an English stage, television and film actor who has appeared in films in both Hollywood and Bollywood. He also played Stanley Kowalski in a West End production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, and Hamlet in 2004. He has appeared on Broadway in Ring Round the Moon. He played the lead in the film Photographing Fairies and played Orsino in Trevor Nunn's film of Twelfth Night.
