"The Nobodies" is a song by American industrial rock band Marilyn Manson. It is the third and final single from their fourth studio album, Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death), released in 2001. The song addresses Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, perpetrators of the Columbine High School massacre in 1999.
As early as February 10, 2001, Manson had made indications that the song would be chosen as the album's third single. The third single was released in physical format, on September 3, 2001, in the UK and, on October 6, 2001, in the US.
A remixed version of the song would later appear in the 2001 Johnny Depp film From Hell. Also, despite its usage of harsh vocals, the band has performed an acoustic version of the song.
The music video for "The Nobodies" was directed by Paul Fedor. It premiered on MTV in June 2001. Technical presentation of the video uses shaking camera techniques, varying perspective shots, closeups, and fast scene shot changes.

Fern Drudger a child who has the ability to shake things out of books, but lately, only Diet Lime Fizzy Drinks seem to pop out of them. The Nobodies seem to have a terrible enemy, and they say that Fern is the only one who can save them.
Fern, now reunited with her real parents, is sent off to Camp Happy Sunshine Good Times, a camp for young Anybodies. Anybodies are people who can transform themselves or others into different objects through hypnotism. At the camp, Fern meets Mary Stern, the counselor for girls. However, it turns out that the counselors and director of the camp seem to have deadly secrets. Camp Happy Sunshine Good Times has strict rules, and Fern easily breaks one of them. And when she receives her punishment, Fern discovers that she is destined to help the Nobodies, who are trapped by the evil Mole, or BORT. BORT is a giant mole who had trapped a family of Nobodies in a Diet Lime Fizzy Drinks factory in a basement at the Avenue of Americas. The Mole can only be shrunk down to the size of normal mole when it touches water. Fern must somehow get BORT to touch water and bring peace to the second earth.
