Michael Strong

Michael Strong (February 8, 1918 – September 17, 1980) was an American stage, film and television actor.

Michael Strong was born in New York City and had extensive stage experience. He was a charter member of The Actors Studio and the Lincoln Center Repertory Company. Among his film credits are Point Blank, Patton, and The Great Santini.

He made numerous television appearances during his career on shows such as The Green Hornet (in "Hornet Save Thyself"), Naked City, The Fugitive, I Spy, Mission: Impossible, Columbo, The Streets of San Francisco, and Hawaii Five-O. He played Dr. Roger Korby in the Star Trek episode "What Are Little Girls Made Of?".

On May 31, 1955, the final episode of the CBS-TV series Danger was an adaptation of the Daphne Du Maurier story "The Birds" starring Strong and Betty Lou Holland.

Death

He died of cancer in Los Angeles, California on September 17, 1980, aged 62.

Michael Richard Strong (born 28 June 1974) was an English cricketer who played for Sussex and later on Northamptonshire. He was born in Cuckfield, Sussex.

Career

Strong only made a two first-class appearances for Sussex, but was best remembered at Sussex for losing a bet and having to run across the outfield in his underpants clutching an inflatable banana. Strong then made the move to Northamptonshire in 2000 taking 31 wickets in his 13 first-class games spanning over two years. During a one day game against Gloucestershire, he conceded a record 99 runs from his nine overs (a new record for the most expensive analysis in the one-day league surpassing Dominic Cork's 96 conceded against Nottinghamshire in a 50 over game in 1993, though he bowled only eight overs). Now after stopping playing professionally he continues playing cricket as a sports director at a prep school in Sussex

Zach Davies

Zachary Ryan Davies (born February 7, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Career

Davies attended Mesquite High School in Gilbert, Arizona. He played for the school's baseball team as a middle infielder, becoming a pitcher in his junior year. The Baltimore Orioles selected Davies in the 26th round of the 2011 MLB Draft. Davies signed with the Orioles, forgoing his commitment to Arizona State University for a $575,000 signing bonus.

Davies made his professional debut with the Delmarva Shorebirds of the Class A South Atlantic League in 2012, where he pitched to a 3.86 earned run average (ERA). He had a 3.69 ERA for the Frederick Keys of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League in 2013. In 2014, he pitched for the Bowie Baysox of the Class AA Eastern League. For Bowie, Davies pitched to a 3.35 ERA. He represented the Orioles in the Arizona Fall League after the regular season. Davies began the 2015 season with the Norfolk Tides of the Class AAA International League, and was chosen to represent the Orioles at the 2015 All-Star Futures Game. With Norfolk, Davies pitched to a 2.84 ERA in 19 games.
