Eric Scott Judy (born November 16, 1974) is the bass guitarist, background vocalist, and founding member of the indie rock band Modest Mouse. He has a wife and two children, and resides in Seattle, Washington.

He started playing bass because no one else played bass he knew and he thought it was cool. He always wanted to be in a band growing up and Modest Mouse was the first band he was in.

After meeting, Judy, Isaac Brock and Jeremiah Green began jamming in a provisional home next to Brock's mother's trailer. They met when Brock approached Judy, who was wearing an Econochrist shirt, and said "Econochrist sucks".^{[citation needed]} Judy moved north and the three were unable to continue making music. However, Brock and Judy sent phone messages to each other with song ideas and guitar riffs. The three were reunited when Judy moved back, and went on to form Modest Mouse.

On the album The Moon & Antarctica, producer Brian Deck used Judy's direction at various times as guidance for additional sonic sounds and fills. Onstage, Judy plays Fender and Rickenbacker bass guitars, as well as the double bass. He also plays the pump organ and the acoustic guitar on Good News for People Who Love Bad News. Judy plays guitar on "The World at Large", "Bukowski", and "Satin in a Coffin", with Tom Peloso playing upright bass on the last two of these songs. He also does some background vocals on songs like "Ocean Breathes Salty".

Modest Mouse is an American indie rock band based in Portland, Oregon. They were formed in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, by singer/lyricist/guitarist Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green, and bassist Eric Judy. Since their 1996 debut album, This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About, their lineup has centered around Brock, Green and Judy. Guitarist Johnny Marr (formerly of The Smiths) joined the band in May 2006, along with percussionist Joe Plummer (formerly of the Black Heart Procession) and multi-instrumentalist Tom Peloso, to work on the album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Guitarist Jim Fairchild joined the band in February 2009. Their name is derived from a passage from the Virginia Woolf story "The Mark on the Wall" which reads, "I wish I could hit upon a pleasant track of thought, a track indirectly reflecting credit upon myself, for those are the pleasantest thoughts, and very frequent even in the minds of modest, mouse-coloured people, who believe genuinely that they dislike to hear their own praises."

Jeremiah Martin Green (born March 4, 1977) is a founding member and drummer of the indie rock band Modest Mouse from 1993 to March 2003, and again from July 2004 to present.

He was born in Oahu, Hawaii while his father was in the Army. He grew up in Moxee, WA a few miles outside of Yakima, WA. His family moved to the Seattle area in 1989. He has an older brother named Adam, a half sister named Theresa and a stepsister.

In the mid-1990s, Green also played with the bands Satisfact on K Records, Red Stars Theory on Touch and Go Records, and Peeved on Distressed Records. Green also plays with a band by the name of Vells, as well as another band named Psychic Emperor. Both bands play at venues around Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.

Jeremiah Green can speak a little Japanese, as he proved on track 6 of Night on the Sun.

In May 2008, Jeremiah released a drum breaks 7" collaboration with Plastiq Phantom under the alias World Gang on the Imputor? label.

In 2007, Jeremiah appeared on Graig Markel's "Via Novella" on the Sonic Boom Label.

Wreckless Eric (born Eric Goulden, 18 May 1954, Newhaven, East Sussex, England) is an English rock and roll/new wave singer-songwriter, best known for his 1977 single "(I'd Go The) Whole Wide World" on Stiff Records. More than two decades after its release, the song was included in Mojo magazine’s list of the best punk rock singles of all time. It was also acclaimed as one of the "top 40 singles of the alternative era 1975–2000". After some years living in France with his wife and co-performer, singer-songwriter Amy Rigby, Goulden moved with her to the USA in the autumn of 2011. As of November 2011 they live in upstate New York and continue to tour together.

Wreckless Eric is best known as one of the original members of the late 1970s Stiff Records artist roster, along with Ian Dury, Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe. Eric’s first appearance on record was "Whole Wide World" on the Stiff label sampler A Bunch of Stiff Records in April 1977. The single version of that song was finally released in August. The song was produced by, and featured bass guitar (and most of the other instruments) by Nick Lowe, with Ian Dury on drums. The following month, the song was one of five tracks broadcast for the first of two sessions Eric recorded for DJ John Peel at BBC Radio 1. The song went on to make number 47 in John Peel’s ‘Festive Fifty’, the so-called ‘lost list’ of 1977; it was number 8 in the Sounds Critics’ singles of the year; and it received an ‘honourable mention’ in the NME critics’ chart. The song’s reputation has grown over the years and numerous bands have covered "Whole Wide World", such as the Lightning Seeds, Mental As Anything, The Monkees (who covered the song on their Pool It! album in 1987), The Proclaimers (who covered it on their 2007 album Life With You), and Paul Westerberg.

Judith Marjorie "Judy" Collins (born May 1, 1939) is an American singer and songwriter, known for her eclectic tastes in the material she records (which has included folk, show tunes, pop, rock and roll and standards); and for her social activism. She is an alumna of the University of Colorado.

Collins was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. As a child, Collins studied classical piano with Antonia Brico, making her public debut at age 13, performing Mozart's Concerto for Two Pianos. Dr. Brico took a dim view, both then and later, of Collins's developing interest in folk music, which led her to the difficult decision to discontinue her piano lessons. Years later, when Collins had become internationally known through her music, she invited Dr. Brico to one of her concerts in Denver. When they met after the performance, Brico took both of Judy's hands in hers, looked wistfully at her fingers and said, "Little Judy—you really could have gone places." Still later, Collins discovered that Brico herself had made a living when she was younger playing jazz and ragtime piano (Singing Lessons, pp. 71–72). She also had the fortune of meeting many musicians through her blind father, a Seattle radio program host.
