Malibu, California
Malibu /ˈmælɨbuː/ is an affluent beachfront city in northwestern Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 12,645. Malibu consists of a 21-mile (34 km) strip of prime Pacific coastline. Nicknamed "the 'Bu" by surfers and locals, the community is famous for its warm, sandy beaches, and for being the home of many Hollywood movie stars and others associated with the entertainment industry. Signs around the city proclaim "27 miles of scenic beauty", referring to Malibu's original length of 27 miles (43 km) before the city was incorporated in 1991.
Most Malibu residents live within a few hundred yards of Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1), which traverses the city, with some residents living up to a mile away from the beach up narrow canyons, and many more residents of the unincorporated canyon areas identifying Malibu as their hometown. The city is also bounded (more or less) by Topanga Canyon to the East, the Santa Monica Mountains consisting of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and Woodland Hills to the North, the Pacific Ocean to the South, and Ventura County to the West.

Milwaukee
Milwaukee /mɪlˈwɔːkiː/ is the largest city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, the 28th most populous city in the United States, and 39th most populous region in the United States. It is the county seat of Milwaukee County and is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan. According to 2010 census data, the City of Milwaukee has a population of 594,833. Milwaukee is the main cultural and economic center of the Milwaukee–Racine–Waukesha Metropolitan Area with a population of 1,751,316 as of 2010. Milwaukee is also the regional center of the seven county Greater Milwaukee Area, with an estimated population of 2,014,032 as of 2008.
The first Europeans to pass through the area were French missionaries and fur traders. In 1818, the French-Canadian explorer Solomon Juneau settled in the area, and in 1846 Juneau's town combined with two neighboring towns to incorporate as the City of Milwaukee. Large numbers of German and other immigrants helped increase the city's population during the 1840s and the following decades.

Ann Jillian (born January 29, 1950) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Cassie Cranston on the 1980s sitcom It's a Living.
Ann Jillian was born Ann Jura Nauseda in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1950, although some sources mistakenly cite 1951. She was born to Lithuanian immigrant parents and speaks Lithuanian fluently. Jillian was raised as a devout Roman Catholic.
She has been acting since 1960 when she played Little Bo Peep in the Disney film Babes In Toyland. Jillian appeared as Dainty June in the Rosalind Russell-Natalie Wood 1962 movie version of Gypsy. She had several television appearances in the 1960s and 1970s, notably becoming a regular on the 1960s sitcom Hazel (1965-66 season) and appearing in the 1963 Twilight Zone episode "Mute" (credited as "Ann Jilliann") as the mute telepathic Ilse Nielson. In 1983, Jillian was honored by the Young Artist Foundation with its Former Child Star "Lifetime Achievement" Award recognizing her achievements within the entertainment industry as a child actress.

Anthony Newley
Anthony George Newley (24 September 1931 – 14 April 1999) was an English actor, singer and songwriter. He enjoyed success as a performer in such diverse fields as rock and roll and stage and screen acting.
Newley was born in the London working class district of Hackney, the son of Frances Grace Newley and George Kirby, a shipping clerk. He had 5 siblings, Maxene (b. 1926), John (b. 1927), Joanne (1928–1965), Linda (b. 1929), Belinda (b. 1932). He was Jewish on his mother's side. His parents, who had never married, separated during his early childhood, and he was brought up by his single mother.
Although recognised as very bright by his teachers back in London, he was uninterested in school, and by the age of fourteen was working as an office boy for an insurance company. When he read an ad in the Daily Telegraph, headed "Boy Actors Urgently Wanted" he applied to the advertisers, the prestigious Italia Conti Stage School, only to discover that the fees were too high. Nevertheless, after a brief audition, he was offered a job as an office boy on a salary of 30 shillings (£1.50) a week plus tuition at the school. While serving tea one afternoon he caught the eye of producer Geoffrey de Barkus, who cast Newley as "Dusty" in the children's serial, The Adventures of Dusty Bates.^{[citation needed]}

Brad Maule
Brad Maule (born October 11, 1951) is an American actor best known for his longtime role as Dr. Tony Jones on the American television serial General Hospital, which he played until February 2006.
Maule was born in Rotan, Texas, and grew up on a farm, being educated at one of the last remaining country schools (which had an enrollment of 150 students in 12 grades). He attended Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating cum laude with a B.F.A. in theater. Soon after he journeyed to Los Angeles to get into the acting profession, where he was cast in many productions.
Maule first joined the cast of General Hospital in 1984, cast as Dr. Tony Jones, the brother of Frisco Jones (played by Jack Wagner (actor)). Maule's character was initially to die after a year on the show and Maule was to be written off the show, however, due to a campaign of fan letters, the powers that be decided to keep Maule on the show. Maule remained on the show on contract from 1984–2000, earning two Daytime Emmy nominations in the process in 1995 and 1997. However, in 2000, the show took Maule off-contract and he remained on the show in a recurring capacity until 2006 when his character was finally killed off. During his run on General Hospital, Maule also guest starred on the spin-off series, Port Charles on numerous occasions.

Bridget Hanley
Bridget Ann Elizabeth Hanley, professionally known as Bridget Hanley, (born February 3, 1941) is an American actress, known for her starring and supporting roles in TV comedy, western, adventure and drama programs, including Candy Pruitt on the Western dramedy Here Come the Brides. She also starred in Harper Valley PTA as Wanda Reilly Taylor.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Hanley is the daughter of Leland Hanley, an All-American football player at Northwestern University and United States Marine Corps veteran, and Doris Nihlroos. She has an older sister Mary Jo and a younger sister Molly. The family moved to Edmonds, Washington, north of Seattle when Bridget was 4. After graduating from Edmonds High School, Hanley headed to San Francisco College for Women to study drama for two years then on to University of Washington whence she graduated with honors and a BA in drama, having appeared in 17 major productions, ranging from Shakespeare to Arthur Miller.
Hanley's first credited role was in the TV sitcom Hank in 1965. She played Terry in the episode "My Fair Co-Ed". That was followed by credited appearances on numerous Screen Gems television series including Gidget starring Sally Field, Golden Globe winner The Farmer's Daughter starring Inger Stevens, Love on a Rooftop, Bewitched starring Elizabeth Montgomery, I Dream of Jeannie starring Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman and The Flying Nun also starring Sally Field. While working at Screen Gems, Hanley was to meet director/producer E.W. Swackhamer, whom she would later marry. She would also make several pilots for Screen Gems, including her first lead role in the series, Here Come the Brides.

Chad Everett
Chad Everett (born June 11, 1936) is an American actor who has appeared in over 40 films and television series but is probably best known for his role as Dr. Joe Gannon in the 1970s television drama Medical Center.
Everett was born Raymon Lee Cramton in South Bend, Indiana, to Virdeen Ruth (née Hopper) and Harry Clyde “Ted” Cramton. He was raised in Dearborn, Michigan, where he became interested in the theatre as a Fordson High School student.
After attending Wayne State University, he headed to Hollywood and obtained a contract with Warner Brothers studio. Agent Henry Willson signed him and changed his name to Chad Everett. Everett claims he changed his name because he tired of explaining his real name, "Raymon-no-D, Cramton-no-P."
Everett's first notable role came in an episode of the 1960s detective series Surfside 6. His first major role came a year later in the film Claudelle Inglish, and he subsequently played a deputy in the short-lived 1963 western television series The Dakotas, which also featured Jack Elam as a fellow lawman. After appearing in a number of movies and television series in the later 1960s, he got his big break, landing the role of Dr. Joe Gannon on the innovative medical drama, Medical Center, in 1969.

E.W. Swackhamer
Egbert Warnderink "E. W." Swackhamer Jr. (January 17, 1927, Middletown, New Jersey – December 5, 1994, Berlin, Germany) was an American television and film director.
Swackhamer's credits included M*A*S*H, L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote, Bewitched, The Partridge Family and The Flying Nun. Of the 27 pilots for television series directed by Swackhamer, 18 went into regular production, including Law & Order, Eight Is Enough, Quincy, M.E., S.W.A.T and Nancy Drew.
Swackhamer was the stage manager for the original Broadway production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. He went to Hollywood in 1961, after working on and off Broadway and for national companies as an actor, stage manager and director. Swackhamer received an Emmy Award for directing the six-hour mini-series The Dain Curse during the 1977-78 season.
He was the father of Ten Eyck Swackhamer and Elizabeth Swackhamer with his first wife, Gretchen Shane. He married actress Bridget Hanley on April 26, 1969 and they had two daughters, Bronwyn (born March 3, 1971) and Meagan. He was working as a director on Star Command at the time of his death, of a ruptured aortic aneurysm, on December 5, 1994.

Elliott Baker
Elliott Baker (December 15, 1922 – February 9, 2007), born Elliot Joseph Cohen, was a screenwriter and novelist.
Baker was born in Buffalo, New York, and graduated from Indiana University. He was the author of the comic novel A Fine Madness, which was published in 1964 by G.P. Putnam's Sons. He adapted the novel into a 1966 motion picture starring Sean Connery and Joanne Woodward.
A Fine Madness tells the story of Samson Shillitoe, a rebellious poet in Greenwich Village who battles a psychiatrist seeking to curb his mood swings via psychosurgery. The New York Times Book Review called the novel "a masterpiece of what one might call rebellious farce."
His other novels included Pocock & Pitt (Putnam, 1971); Klynt's Law (Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich, 1976); And We Were Young (Times Books, 1979); and Unhealthful Air (Viking, 1988). His novel The Penny Wars (Putnam, 1968) was adapted for the Broadway stage.
As a screenwriter he wrote a number of television movies, and was nominated for an Emmy award in 1976 for his adaptation of The Entertainer. He also wrote "Side Show", the most famous episode of Roald Dahl's 1961 television anthology horror series Way Out, which featured a carnival "electric woman with a light bulb for a head."

Eva Marie Saint
Eva Marie Saint (July 4, 1924) is an American actress who has starred in films, on Broadway, and on television in a career spanning seven decades. She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the drama film On the Waterfront (1954), and later starred in the thriller film North by Northwest (1959), directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Saint received Golden Globe and BAFTA award nominations for the drama film A Hatful of Rain (1957) and won an Emmy Award for the television miniseries People Like Us (1990). Her film career also includes roles in Raintree County (1957), Exodus (1960), Because of Winn-Dixie (2005), and Superman Returns (2006).
Saint was born in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Eva Marie (née Rice) and John Merle Saint. She attended Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, New York, graduating in 1942. Eva Marie was inducted into the high school's hall of fame in 2006. She studied acting at Bowling Green State University, while a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. There is a theater on Bowling Green's campus named for her. She was an active member in the theater honorary fraternity, Theta Alpha Phi and served as Secretary of the Bowling Green Student Government in 1944.

Hansford Rowe
Hansford Rowe (born May 12, 1924) is an American character actor who has starred in films and on television. He has been known to play ministers in some of his roles.
Rowe was born in Richmond, Virginia, the son of Virginia Isabel (née Willis) and Hansford Herndon Rowe, who was a veterinarian. His first television role was in the 1967 TV movie The Thanksgiving Visitor. He starred in the cult series Dark Shadows as a Judge in 1968. His well known role is in the 1983 NBC hit miniseries V as Arthur Dupres, the stepfather of resistance leader Mike Donovan. Hansford reprised his role in the 1984 sequel V: The Final Battle.
Hansford has starred in some films, his first feature film was in the 1973 movie Gordon's War, his other movie credits are Missing (1982), Baby Boom (1987), and his most recent film is in the 2003 movie Dry Cycle.
He has made guest appearances on TV shows, some of those appearances range from Love, Sidney, The Greatest American Hero, Six Feet Under, Night Court and Will & Grace.

James Coburn
James Harrison Coburn III (August 31, 1928 – November 18, 2002) was an American film and television actor. Coburn appeared in nearly 70 films and made over 100 television appearances during his 45-year career, and played a wide range of roles and won an Academy Award for his supporting role as Glen Whitehouse in Affliction.
A capable, rough-hewn leading man, his toothy grin and lanky body made him a perfect tough-guy in numerous leading and supporting roles in Westerns and action films, such as The Magnificent Seven, Hell Is for Heroes, The Great Escape, Major Dundee, Our Man Flint, Duck, You Sucker, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid and Cross of Iron.
During the late 1960s and early 1970s he would cultivate an image synonymous with "cool", and along with such contemporaries as Lee Marvin, Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson, became one of the prominent "tough-guy" actors of his day.
Coburn was born in Laurel, Nebraska, the son of Mylet S. (née Johnson) and James Harrison Coburn, Jr., who had a garage business that was wiped out by the Great Depression. Coburn was of Scotch-Irish and Swedish descent. He was raised in Compton, California, attended Compton Junior College and enlisted in the United States Army in 1950, serving as a truck driver and an occasional disc jockey on an Army radio station in Texas. Coburn also narrated Army training films in Mainz, Germany. He attended Los Angeles City College, where he studied acting alongside Jeff Corey and Stella Adler, then made his stage debut at the La Jolla Playhouse in Billy Budd. Coburn was selected for a Remington Products razor commercial in which he was able to shave off 11 days of beard growth in less than 60 seconds, while joking that he had more teeth to show on camera than the other 12 candidates for the part.

Kim Novak
Kim Novak (born Marilyn Pauline Novak, February 13, 1933) is an American film and television actress.
Her first film roles were in Pushover and Phffft! (both 1954), and her breakthrough role was in Picnic (1955). Over the next three years, she appeared in The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), The Eddy Duchin Story (1956), Pal Joey (1957), and Bell, Book and Candle (1958). She is best known for her role as Judy Barton in the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock film Vertigo. Novak's career went into decline afterwards, and she appeared in films sporadically until 1991. Now retired, she lives with her veterinarian husband on a ranch in Eagle Point, Oregon.
Novak was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph and Blanche (née Kral) Novak. Both her parents were of Czech descent. Her father worked as a dispatcher on the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad and both her parents had been teachers.
While attending David Glasgow Farragut High School, she won a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago. After leaving school, she began a career modeling teen fashions for a local department store. She later received a scholarship at a modeling academy and continued to model part-time. She worked as an elevator operator, a sales clerk and a dental assistant.

Reid Smith
Reid Smith (born May 8, 1949) is a wealthy Los Angeles, California, real estate businessman, who maintained a sporadic acting career from 1970 until about 1990.
In 1973, Smith was cast in the supporting role of Officer Norm Hamilton in twenty episodes of Jack Webb’s NBC police drama, Chase, starring Mitchell Ryan in the title role of Captain Chase Reddick. Wayne Maunder had a recurring role as Sergeant Sam MacCray. At mid-season, Smith was fired because Webb considered him lacking in motivation and dedication to acting. "I quit my acting lessons, quit trying to learn. I had a great opportunity, and I blew it," Smith later rued.
By 1980, he was cast to replace Charles Frank in the role of Lester Hackett in the CBS western miniseries, The Chisholms, with Robert Preston in the lead as the patriarch of a Virginia family headed by wagon train to California. Ironically, Mitchell Ryan also appeared on The Chisholms – in the role of Cooper Hawkins.
Other Smith roles included that of “Wells” in the 1972 episode "A Place to Hide" on NBC’s Bonanza, as “Wheels” in the 1980 episode “Duelling Skates” of ABC’s Mork and Mindy, as “McGraw” in the 1980 episode “Mrs. Rosco P. Coltrane” of CBS’s The Dukes of Hazard, and as “Slade” in the episode entitled “Annie Oakley” on CBS’s Airwolf, with Jan-Michael Vincent.

Richard Mulligan
Richard Mulligan (November 13, 1932 – September 26, 2000) was an American television and film actor best known for his role as Burt Campbell in the 1970s sitcom Soap and later as Dr. Harry Weston on The Golden Girls and its spin-off Empty Nest.
He was born in New York City, the younger brother of director Robert Mulligan. After attending Columbia University, Mulligan began working in theatre, making his debut as a stage manager and performer on Broadway in All the Way Home in 1960. Additional theatre credits included A Thousand Clowns, Never Too Late, Hogan's Goat, and Thieves.
Mulligan starred with Mariette Hartley in the 1966-67 season comedy series The Hero, in which he played TV star Sam Garret, who in turn starred on a fictional series as Jed Clayton, U.S. Marshal. The Hero lasted only 16 episodes. Another notable TV appearance was on the I Dream of Jeannie episode "Around the World in 80 Blinks", as a navy commander accompanying Maj. Nelson (Larry Hagman) on a mission.
Mulligan's most notable film role was as General Custer in Little Big Man, whom he portrayed as a borderline psychotic. He also appeared in the disaster movie spoof The Big Bus (1976), where he was reunited with Larry Hagman, with whom he starred in an episode of I Dream of Jeannie (see above). In the comedy-drama Teachers, he partially reprised his Custer role from Little Big Man, portraying a mental patient mistaken for a substitute teacher, who dresses up as various historical figures (including Abe Lincoln, Ben Franklin and Custer in his final scene) to teach his pupils, who learn more from him than from the actual teachers.

She became famous in the 1980s for appearing in several hard rock videos for the band Whitesnake, including the hit "Here I Go Again". Kitaen was married to Whitesnake lead singer David Coverdale from 1989–1991. She had recurring parts on multiple television series such as Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and co-hosted America's Funniest People from 1992–1994. She was arrested for drug possession in 2006, has been in and out of rehab programs, was part of The Surreal Life cast in 2006, and was one of the patients in Season 2 of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
Julie Kitaen was born in San Diego, California in 1961 to a Jewish-American father, Terry Kitaen, who was an employee of a neon sign company, and Linda Taylor Kitaen, a housewife and a former beauty pageant queen. Julie began using the name "Tawny" at the age of 12, on her own initiative.
Kitaen married David Coverdale in 1989, but the two divorced in 1991. After her marriage to Coverdale ended, she married baseball pitcher Chuck Finley in 1997. They had two daughters, Wynter Finley in 1993 and Raine Finley in 1998. Kitaen appeared in a feature of professional athletes and their wives in the 1999 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Valerie Ritchie Perrine (born September 3, 1943) is an American actress and model.
Perrine was born in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of Winifred (née McGinley), a dancer who appeared in Earl Carroll's Vanities, and Kenneth Perrine, a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army. Owing to her father's career, Perrine lived in many locations as the family moved to different posts.
Perrine began her career as a Las Vegas showgirl. Some believe she made her motion picture debut with an uncredited part in Diamonds Are Forever (1971) but this is not true. She played soft-core porn actress Montana Wildhack in the film of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five (1972).
Perrine was photographed as a model for a pictorial layout in the May 1972 issue of Playboy magazine, later appearing on the cover in August 1981. She then became the first actress to purposely display herself nude on American television by completely baring her breasts during the May 4, 1973, Public Broadcasting Service broadcast of Bruce Jay Friedman's Steambath on Hollywood Television Theater. (She was seen taking a shower from the side totally undressed.) Only a few PBS stations nationwide were adventurous enough to carry the program.

William Atherton (born July 30, 1947), born William Atherton Knight II, is an American film, stage and television actor.
Atherton was born in Orange, Connecticut, the son of Robert Atherton Knight and Roby (maiden name Robison). He studied acting at the Drama School at Carnegie Tech and graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1969.

He also starred as cowboy Jim Lloyd in the ground-breaking 1978 miniseries Centennial, based on the novel by James Michener.
