In the 4x200 m freestyle relay, Keller held off a charging Ian Thorpe in the anchor leg to win the race by 0.13 seconds. This was the first time Australia had been beaten in the event in over seven years. Nicole Livingstone
Nicole Dawn Livingstone OAM (born June 24, 1971) is a retired Australian Olympic swimmer and a television sports commentator and radio presenter. Livingstone competed for Australia in three summer Olympics - 1988, 1992, and 1996 - winning both individual and team medals. She retired from swimming after the 1996 Olympics (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) and joined the Australian sports network Nine Network as a host of Nine's Wide World of Sport, and a commentator for swimming. Livingstone is currently a radio presenter for Melbourne station SEN 1116. She was born in Melbourne, Victoria.

Amanda Weir (born March 11, 1986) is an American swimmer.
At the 2004 Summer Olympics, Weir swam the third leg in the US team for the Women's 4×100 m freestyle relay. Leading after her leg of the relay, the US team finished second to the Australians, setting an American Record with their finishing time. Weir earned a Silver medal in the 4×100 medley relay by helping her team qualify for the final.
Born in Davenport, Iowa, Weir started swimming while the family lived in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Weir's parents are graduates of Central College in Pella, Iowa, were they competed in Track (Julie) and Basketball and Baseball(Jim).
Weir holds many of the sprint freestyle age group records for USA Swimming, setting her first record at age 12, in the 50 yard freestyle in 23.17 seconds.
Weir's Brookwood High School swim team won four consecutive Georgia state 5A championships.
Weir became a freshman at the University of Georgia in 2004, where her team dominated the 2005 NCAA championships, with Weir anchoring four of the unprecedented five UGA winning relays. She was awarded Atlanta Amateur Athlete of the year for 2005. Weir left the University of Georgia after her freshman year and enrolled at the University of Southern California in 2006. After a single semester at USC, Amanda decided to end her college swimming career to begin swimming professionally.
At the 2006 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championship, Weir shattered the American record in the 100 m freestyle with a time of 53.58.
