Search For "The Afghan Girl" HQ (1/4)
The search for the mysterious "Afghan Girl," whose haunting, green-eyed gaze captivated the world in a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC magazine cover photograph, takes EXPLORER on a world-wide journey in an attempt to solve the case of a missing person. In January 2002, photographer Steve McCurry, who took the 1984 photograph and has been searching for the girl ever since, traveled to Pakistan with a National Geographic EXPLORER team to search one last time. The refugee camp where the original encounter took place was about to be demolished. War in Afghanistan continues. The plight of refugees there and in Pakistan is worsening. Has the "Afghan Girl" survived? With a lot of detective work and a little luck, the EXPLORER team, together with McCurry, finds a woman who could be the "Afghan Girl." How can they confirm that this is the same person as the child photographed nearly 20 years ago? National Geographic uses several methods, including state of the art iris recognition, the FBI facial recognition techniques and the technology used by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Sigourney Weaver narrates. Please don't take this down, I'm only upoading because people need to see the whole story =) I do not own this movie, it is a product of National Geographic and Steve Mccurry Photography.

Riz Khan - Afghanistans political impasse
Two months after Afghanistan's disputed elections, Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, has finally admitted that he fell short of an outright victory in his country's presidential elections. The date for a runoff vote between Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah, his main challenger has been set for November 7. Fraud investigators have reportedly thrown out hundreds of thousands of ballots, bringing Karzai's percentage of the vote under 50 per cent and triggering a new election. But will the Afghan runoff election resolve the country's stalemate? And beyond the election results, the main issues remain: How to fix Afghanistan? How to have a central government that has legitimacy? And what policy will the Obama administration pursue in the country? In this episode, Anand Naidoo spoke with Fariba Nawa, an Afghan-American journalist; Shah Mahmoud Hanifi; a professor at James Madison University; and Christine Fair, a former political officer to the UN Assistance Mission to Afghanistan in Kabul and the author of Cuisines of the Axis of Evil and Other Irritating States: A Dinner Party Approach to International Relations.

Zia ul Haq Warning | Afghan War US and Pakistan | Ahmadi Jewish Network !! MUST SEE !!
General Zia ul Haq (late) Ex-President of Pakistan warning Pakistanis to wake up and assist the Afghans as they took on the Soviets. If the Afghans hadn't been able to defend their land and force the Russians out, what would it have meant for Pakistan? We're faced with a similar situation today in Afghanistan. Another superpower is engaged in battle on the land which is known as the 'graveyard of empires'. The only difference is that the war isn't being fought in just Afghanistan any more, Pakistan and Afghanistan are part of the same war to according to the new US 'Af-Pak' strategy. Wake up Pakistan. Ahmadi/Qadiani along with Jewish Lobby trying their level best not to establish peace in Pakistan and Afghanistan. If we want a peaceful Pakistan and Afghanistan, Muslims must involve in Jehad against Qadiani Jewish Network in Pakistan and Afghanistan. 9 11 Victims Son Owns Bill OReilly - TestTransmission1984
Right wing spokesman and Fox News host Bill O'Reilly decides to insult the memory of a victim of 9/11 by attacking his son . *For the idiots who believe O Reilly * - One of the CIA's longest and most expensive covert operations was the supplying of billions of dollars in arms to the Afghan mujahideen militants.[42] The CIA provided assistance to the fundamentalist insurgents through the Pakistani secret services, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in a program called Operation Cyclone. Somewhere between $3--$20 billion in US funds were funneled into the country to train and equip troops with weapons.[43][44] Together with similar programs by Saudi Arabia, Britain's MI6 and SAS, Egypt, Iran, and the People's Republic of China,[45] the arms included Stinger missiles, shoulder-fired, antiaircraft weapons that they used against Soviet helicopters and that later were in circulation among terrorists who have fired such weapons at commercial airliners. Osama bin Laden was allegedly among the recipients of US arms, although the US denies this and claims it did not support the "Afghan Arabs".[42] Pakistan's secret service, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), was used as an intermediary for most of these activities to disguise the sources of support for the resistance. With US and other funding, the ISI armed and trained over 100000 insurgents - Wikipedia . www.google.co.uk - Al Qaeda Mujahideen Google search .

euronews interview - First Afghan boxer 'fights for peace'
www.euronews.com In October 2012 the capital of Afghanistan saw its first ever professional boxing match. The fight that would have been banned under Taliban rule was dubbed the "fight for peace". In Kabul Hamid Rahimi of Afghanistan took on Said Mbelwa of Tanzania for the "World Boxing Organisation Intercontinental Middleweight belt." Watched in the stadium by prominent Afghan figures, including politicians, as well as thousands of Afghan citizens from different ethnic groups, Rahimi won the fight in the seventh round. Millions of Afghans also watched the bout on TV. In a country that has been at war for over 30 years, Afghan President, Hamid Karzai, congratulated Rahimi along with "the Afghan people" for the win. Though born Kabul, 29-year-old Hamid Rahimi has lived in Germany since he was nine. *euronews:* Hamid Rahimi, Welcome to euronews. Recently you took part in a boxing match that you dubbed the "Fight for Peace." In a country that has been at war for 30 to 40 years, could this fight really change anything? *Hamid Rahimi:* "Considerably, I strongly believe in the project's impact, it took two years of hard work to make it happen, much has been invested in it, for it to succeed, it's something that I really care about. "I've been in Germany for 20-years, I didn't come here just for German citizenship, I came here because there's peace in this country, my dream for Afghanistan is to take back and establish peace in my homeland. "I've already felt war, I've lived ...
