Supermassive Black Hole in the Milky Way Galaxy
Watch this and other space videos at SpaceRip.com From a distance, our galaxy would look like a flat spiral, some 100000 light years across, with pockets of gas, clouds of dust, and about 400 billion stars rotating around the galaxys center. Thick dust and blinding starlight have long obscured our vision into the mysterious inner regions of the galactic center. And yet, the clues have been piling up, that something important, something strange is going on in there. Astronomers tracking stars in the center of the galaxy have found the best proof to date that black holes exist. Now, they are shooting for the first direct image of a black hole. From a distance, our galaxy would look something like this. A flat spiral, some 100000 light years across, with pockets of gas, clouds of dust, and about 400 billion stars rotating around the galaxy's center. That center -- bulging up and out of the galactic disk -- is tightly packed with stars. Thick dust and blinding starlight have long obscured our vision into the mysterious inner regions of this so-called "bulge." And yet, the clues have been piling up, that something important...something strange... is going on in there. The first to take notice was the physicist Karl Jansky back in the 1930s. He was asked by his employer, Bell Telephone Labs, to investigate sources of static that might interfere with what it saw as the killer app of its time... radio voice transmissions. Using this ungainly radio receiver... Jansky methodically ...

iPhone 5 vs. Galaxy S III
The iPhone 5 and Galaxy S 3 are very different phones. The former has a smaller screen, thinner design, and an operating system that is very much a what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of experience. The Galaxy S 3 has a huge display and a much larger form factor that is more conducive to gaming and video watching, but perhaps a bit difficult to use with just one-hand. In this video, we compare the merits of both the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S 3!

NOVA | The Fabric of the Cosmos: What Is Space
Space. It separates you from me, one galaxy from the next, and atoms from each other. It is everywhere in the universe. But to most of us, space is nothing, an empty void. Well, it turns out space is not what it seems.

Owl City - Galaxies (Official HQ)
Galaxies - Owl city with lyrics and in HQ! Latest single from the upcoming album 'All things bright and beautiful' by Owl City. For promotion purposes only! No copyright intended! Lyrics: Call back the cap-com, Tick off the time-bomb, Let felicity fly! Armour the airlock, Blanket the bedrock, And kiss the planet goodbye! Dear God, I was terribly lost, When the galaxies crossed, And the Sun went dark. Dear God, You're the only North Star, I would follow this far. [ Lyrics from: www.lyricsmode.com ] Fight back the flight deck, Bring on the breakneck, Cue the solar eclipse! Summit the sunset, Dubtail the dragnet, And blow your backbone to bits! Dear God, I was terribly lost, When the galaxies crossed, And the Sun went dark. Dear God, You're the only North Star, I would follow this far. Oh telescope, keep an eye on my only hope, Lest I blink and be swept off the narrow road. Hercules, you've got nothing to say to me, 'Cause you're not the blinding light that I need. For He is the saving grace of the Galaxies! He is the saving grace of the Galaxies

Samsung Galaxy S Duos Preview
For more details, check out our web site: www.phonearena.com Samsung is anything but a stranger to dual-SIM cell phones. In 2007, it was the first well-known manufacturer to release such a handset -- the SGH-D880 Duos, which paved the way for a long list of successors to follow. Fast forward five years into the future and the company's dual-SIM lineup now includes both smartphones and feature phones, with the Samsung Galaxy S Duos being the latest Android-powered addition ...

iPhone 5 Vs. Galaxy S III - FIGHT!
iPhone 5 Vs. Samsung Galaxy S3 - FIGHT! iPhone 5 review: tchno.be Galaxy S III review: tchno.be When new tech hits the market, we often present you with spec-for-spec comparison battles to give you an idea how each product stacks up to their closest rival. But depending on how you approach, say, the smartphone market, listing off processor, screen and megapixel size doesn't typically indicate overall user experience. Ultimately, a simple side-by-side tablet can make deciding which handset to get a very difficult decision. So we've produced a video of — what else? — a head-to-head battle between Apple's iPhone 5 and Samsung's Galaxy S III. With Apple's thinner, lighter and faster handset already smashing company records, and Samsung's Next Big Thing dominating the Android market, it's only fitting we pit these two against each other. To give you a quick overview, we'll base our opinion in the video on six key categories: Design and Build Quality, Storage and Expandability, Internals and Performance, OS / Software, Display, and Battery Life. tchno.be For more tech goodness, check us out at: www.technobuffalo.com Follow Us on Twitter: www.twitter.com Like Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Check Us Out on Google+: tchno.be Inside My Mind: www.youtube.com

This was filmed between 4th and 11th April 2011. I had the pleasure of visiting El Teide.
Spain´s highest mountain @(3718m) is one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars and is also the location of Teide Observatories, considered to be one of the world´s best observatories.
The goal was to capture the beautiful Milky Way galaxy along with one of the most amazing mountains I know El Teide. I have to say this was one of the most exhausting trips I have done. There was a lot of hiking at high altitudes and probably less than 10 hours of sleep in total for the whole week. Having been here 10-11 times before I had a long list of must-see locations I wanted to capture for this movie, but I am still not 100% used to carrying around so much gear required for time-lapse movies.
A large sandstorm hit the Sahara Desert on the 9th April (http://bit.ly/g3tsDW) and at approx 3am in the night the sandstorm hit me, making it nearly impossible to see the sky with my own eyes.
Interestingly enough my camera was set for a 5 hour sequence of the milky way during this time and I was sure my whole scene was ruined. To my surprise, my camera had managed to capture the sandstorm which was backlit by Grand Canary Island making it look like golden clouds. The Milky Way was shining through the clouds, making the stars sparkle in an interesting way. So if you ever wondered how the Milky Way would look through a Sahara sandstorm, look at 00:32.

Earth
Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions
28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October,
2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.
All credit goes to them.
HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Review!
When you have the best selling Android phone on the market, what is your next move? Well, Samsung apparently decided to try innovating once again - by shrinking it. Galaxy S III Mini Unboxing & 1st Look
Galaxy S III Mini Unboxing & 1st Look Thanks to Negri Electronics: www.negrielectronics.com Samsung's new Galaxy S III Mini is, as the name suggests, a tinier version of one of the company's best-selling smartphones ever. It bears a like-for-like outward resemblance to its bigger brother, though it feels a lot different because of its smaller size. To be fair, that's not such a bad thing.
