Lost Angels (1989) Trailer - Adam Horovitz
Want to see this movie on dvd? Then go and join the facebook group today, like now please! www.facebook.com Good News everyone! BTW- This movie is now available for official buy from Warner. Here are the two links :) www.deepdiscount.com and www.amazon.com Buy one, I guarantee satisfaction. This is a trailer for Lost Angeles that was made in 1989. It was released on vhs with Orion and I believe is now owned by MGM. This is my attempt to get the word out about this movie and possibly get a dvd release one day. Here is a summary from movies.com: "Tim Doolan (Adam Horovitz) hates his parents. His father (Graham Beckel) is an absentee ex-cop, and his mother (Celia Weston) is a simpering upper middle class socialite who has recently remarried and can't understand her alienated and destructive son. A rich Los Angeles teen lost in a world of gang violence, drugs, and despair, Tim, along with his half brother, Andy (Don Bloomfield), parties all night at local clubs and belongs to a wealthy white gang that attempts to be as tough and streetwise as neighboring Latino gangs. His sole comfort comes from Cheryl (Amy Locane), a troubled, beautiful girl he admires from afar. One night, after a nasty gang fight, Tim goes to Cheryl's house and finds her ready and willing to party. However, the night ends abruptly when Cheryl drives her mother's car into the family pool. Tim and Cheryl wake up in the morning to the Los Angeles police and their unforgiving parents. Whisked away to juvenile ...

My parents' wedding (April 20, 1960)
My mother and father (Carla and Sergio) loved each other so much that they died in the same year (2000) and at an early age for seniors (67 and 70, respectively). As I was browsing through the family pictures lately, I decided that I should scan their wedding set for conservation purposes. Then, quite a few days ago, I heard the song "What are you doing the rest of your life?" splendidly performed by Barbra Streisand and thought it was so fitting as a soundtrack for my parents' wedding pictures...and their life as a married couple, for that matter. Making this slideshow was the obvious result, with a finale to match. Enjoy! Date of first publication and author of the photographs shown in the slideshow: April 6, 1958 (Renato Giovagnoli); March 29, 1959 (Renato Giovagnoli); April 20, 1960 (Patriarca Photo Studio, Rome, Italy); August 8 and 15, 1969 (Alessandro Cintoli), June 21, 1989 (Renato Salerno). Hardworking Gil Buckman (Steve Martin) and his stay-at-home wife, Karen (Mary Steeenburgen), have just a few months to help their oldest son, Kevin (Jasen Fisher), overcome his high-strung behavior problems before he'll be relegated to special-education classes. Gil's difficult relationship with his own father, Frank (Jason Robards), has led him to become a would-be super-dad for his three kids, so he takes his son's difficulties more than a little personally. Gil's sister, Helen (Dianne Wiest), is trying to raise a moody, adolescent son (Leaf Phoenix) and an independent-minded daughter (Martha Plimpton) with no help from her well-off ex-husband, who's more interested in his new wife and family. TRISTA PENA - GIPSY KINGS - (1989)
GIPSY KINGS is a group of Spanish-language musicians from Arles and Montpellier, France. Although group members were born in France, their parents were mostly gitanos, Spanish Romani people who fled Catalonia during the 1930s Spanish Civil War, with the exception of Chico Bouchikhi who is of Moroccan and Algerian descent. They are known for bringing Rumba Catalana, a pop-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music, to worldwide audiences. Their music has a particular Rumba Flamenca style, with pop influences; many songs of the Gipsy Kings fit social dances, such as Salsa and Rumba. Their music has been described as a place where "Spanish flamenco and Romani rhapsody meet salsa funk". Background The Gipsy Kings are largely responsible for bringing the joyful sounds of progressive pop-oriented flamenco to the world. The band started out in Arles, a village in southern France, during the '70s when brothers Nicolas and Andre Reyes, the sons of renowned flamenco artist Jose Reyes, teamed up with their cousins Jacques, Maurice, and Tonino Baliardo, whose father is Manitas de Plata. They originally called themselves Los Reyes and started out as a Gypsy band traveling about playing weddings, festivals, and in the streets. Because they lived so much like Gypsies, the band adopted the name the Gipsy Kings. Later, they were hired to add color to posh parties in St. Tropez. Popularity did not come to Los Reyes right away, and their first two albums attracted ...

Batman (1989) Trailer
As a child, Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) saw his parents killed by a young criminal. He grows up, vowing to avenge their death by fighting against the criminals in Gotham City. He takes on the disguise of Batman, while keeping his public image as the wealthy heir to Wayne Enterprises. Years later, Gotham is under control by crime boss Carl Grissom (Jack Palance). Despite the best efforts of newly-elected district attorney Harvey Dent and police commissioner James Gordon, the police department remains corrupted. Reporter Alexander Knox (Robert Wuhl) and photo-journalist Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) begin investigating the rumors of a shadowy vigilante figure dressed as a bat who has been terrifying criminals throughout the city. Vicki and Knox attend a benefit at Wayne Manor, where Bruce is taken by Vicki's charms. Knox, however, appears somewhat jealous of the chemistry between Bruce and Vicki. That same night, Grissom's second in command, Jack Napier (Jack Nicholson), is sent to raid Axis Chemicals factory. After the police receive a tip-off and arrive to arrest him, Jack realizes he's been set-up by his boss, angered by his affair with Grissom's mistress. In the midst of the shoot-out, Batman arrives and takes out Jack's henchmen. In a bizarre accident caused by his own ricocheting bullet, deflected by Batman's metal-reinforced gauntlet, Jack's face is ripped open. Reeling from the pain, he topples over a platform rail but manages to grab a lower rail with one hand. Batman ...
