Yul Brynner Interview with Bill Boggs
Yul Brynner (Russian: Юлий Борисович Бринер, Yuliy Borisovich Bryner; July 11, 1920 -- October 10, 1985)[1] was a Russian stage and film actor.[2] He was best known for his portrayal of Mongkut, king of Siam, in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The King and I, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor for the film version; he also played the role more than 4500 times onstage. He is also remembered as Rameses II in the 1956 Cecil B. DeMille blockbuster The Ten Commandments, General Bounine in Anastasia and Chris Adams in The Magnificent Seven. Brynner was noted for his distinctive voice and for his shaven head, which he maintained as a personal trademark long after adopting it for his initial role in The King and I. He was also a photographer and the author of two books. - Wikipedia Footage Owned by Bill Boggs www.BillBoggs.com YouTube Managed by Exit 172 Productions, LLC. http John Hedlund - Owner & Producer BillBoggsTV@Gmail.com

Frank Film Description: Based on the Holy Scriptures, with additional dialogue by several other hands, The Ten Commandments was the last film directed by Cecil B. DeMille. The story relates the life of Moses, from the time he was discovered in the bullrushes as an infant by the pharoah's daughter, to his long, hard struggle to free the Hebrews from their slavery at the hands of the Egyptians. Moses (Charlton Heston) starts out "in solid" as Pharoah's adopted son (and a whiz at designing pyramids, dispensing such construction-site advice as "Blood makes poor mortar"), but when he discovers his true Hebrew heritage, he attempts to make life easier for his people. Banished by his jealous half-brother Rameses (Yul Brynner), Moses returns fully bearded to Pharoah's court, warning that he's had a message from God and that the Egyptians had better free the Hebrews post-haste if they know what's good for them. Tony Curtis Yul Brynner Christine Kaufman "Taras Bulba" 1962 theatrical trailer
Taras Bulba is a 1962 film loosely based on Nikolai Gogol's short novel, Taras Bulba, starring Yul Brynner in the title role, and Tony Curtis as his son, Andrei, leaders of a Cossack clan on the Ukrainian steppes. The film was directed by J. Lee Thompson, father of actress Lea Thompson. The story line of the film is considerably different from that of Gogol's novel, although it is closer to the 1842 (pro-Russian Imperial) edition than the original version (pro-Ukrainian) version (1832).

Yul Brynner Tribute
A tribute to one of the greatest and most underrated actors of all time! I just found out about him recently and fell totally in love with him! It is hard to believe that he's dead longer than I am alive. I liked the song for him because he IS born in Seberia! :) I decided to feature my 4 favourite movies of Yul: (no 10 Commandments because the song wasn't long to begin with) THE MAGNIFICANT SEVEN, KING AND I, ANASTASIA, THE BROTHERS KARAMASOV I hope you enjoy it!
