Who we are

We enjoy building things.

We avoid bureaucracy, job titles, and meetings. We are passionate about creating transformative user experiences. We make sure that SeatGeek always looks different; we try to add a new feature--or remove a needless one--every single day.

We constantly deploy to production. Many "non-technical" people here still have a working local instance of the app on their machine and commit regularly.

What we're working on

SeatGeek is a ticket search engine used by millions. Our app enables you to discover live events and then compare hundreds of sites at once when shopping for sports, concert, or theater tickets.

Our aim is to become America's gateway to live entertainment—when the average consumer wants to do something on the weekend, she will start with SeatGeek.

We're building the technology to make that happen. Our two main weapons are data (which we have lots of) and a manic focus on user experience. We're a technology company, not a ticket company.

Perks

  • No more hunger: Our kitchen has a free, endless supply of food, coffee, and drinks for everyone. We have catered team lunches at least once or twice per week.
  • Outstanding workspace: Great office location, just south of Union Square in Greenwich Village. A laid-back environment (e.g. no haircut restrictions!) with regular Friday happy hours and an active Beirut scene. The Daily Muse did an in-depth profile of why folks love SeatGeek.
  • Team events: We have lots of them. Eric Waller, our official Social Chair, does a superb job.
  • Hackathons: Scheduled times when everyone drops what they’re doing and builds cool stuff in small groups.
  • Startup with big-company benefits: Outstanding benefits plan with full medical/dental/vision paid for by the company. Pre-tax medical and commuter benefits.
