Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gives a press conference at the Prime Minister's office in Jerusalem. Signs are growing that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will soon call parliamentary elections months ahead of schedule, seeking to capitalize on a wave of popularity and a fragmented opposition to guarantee his hold on power for several more years. While Netanyahu has not made any formal announcement, a number of members of his coalition, including his foreign minister and the speaker of parliament, have signaled that elections are imminent.
