Killer early 60's r&b; rocker from Detroit, Michigan. Always works on the dancefloor! It was the first hit for The Dynamics. It charted #44 on Billboard Hot 100. Legendary British rock group "The Who" covered this tune in their mod classic "Zoot Suit" in 1964. Great 2-sider, highly recommended. Vinyl rip from musidawn 45's record collection.

Bigtop Records
Bigtop Records was an American record label started by music executive Johnny Bienstock and the major music publisher Hill & Range Music and was co-owned along with Big Top Record Distributors (sic). Hit artists included Del Shannon, Johnny and the Hurricanes, Lou Johnson, Sammy Turner, Don and Juan, and Toni Fisher. Big Top Record Distributors also distributed Paul Case's Dunes Records label in the early 60's, which had hits from Ray Peterson ("Corrina, Corrina") and Curtis Lee ("Pretty Little Angel Eyes"), both records produced by Phil Spector. Bell Records briefly distributed Bigtop prior to the label closing, around 1965.
In the UK, Bigtop licensed its records to London Records. Its current UK licensees are Ace Records (United Kingdom).
There was a subsidiary, Big Hill Records, which only issued a few singles by Lou Johnson after Bigtop closed.

The Dynamics
The Dynamics were an American R&B group from Detroit, Michigan.
The Dynamics were formed in the early 1960s. Their first hit was 1963's "Misery", which formed the basis for the Who's first record, Zoot Suit.
In the late 1960s the group was managed by Ted White, who married Aretha Franklin. The group released two full-length albums and charted three hits on the U.S. R&B charts in 1973-74.
Their first album was recorded in Memphis and featured a number of Memphis session musicians - Reggie Young on guitar, Bobby Emmons on organ, Bobby Wood on piano, Mick Leach on bass, and Gene Chrisman on drums.
