The Company [2007] 1/3
I DON`T OWN THIS AND I DON`T WANT TO OBTAIN ANY KIND OF BENEFITS FROM SHARING THIS. THE COMPANY [2007] 1/3 With: Michael Keaton, Chirs O`Donnell, Alfred Molina, Alessandro Nivola The Company is an American fiction miniseries that follows the Cold War intelligence battle between the CIA and the KGB from the end of World War II to the fall of the Soviet Union. The protagonist is Jack McAuliffe (Chris O'Donnell), an idealistic and naive "true believer" who was recruited from Yale by his crew coach. Jack begins his career stationed in Berlin to work with Harvey Torriti (Alfred Molina), who is codenamed "the Sorcerer." Torriti takes Jack under his wing, and the two keep in touch even after Jack's career takes him from Berlin. A string of failed missions from Berlin to the Bay of Pigs Invasion forces Jack to conclude that the CIA has been severely penetrated by a KGB mole. The miniseries centers on the efforts of Jack and Harvey, along with the increasingly paranoid counterintelligence chief James Angleton (Michael Keaton), to expose and destroy the mole. Angleton becomes so paranoid, according to some of his staff, that he is forced to retire when he argues that evidence apparently clearing a suspected mole was actually incriminating evidence because it was too easily discovered. But at the end of the movie Angleton is proven right about the mole. At his farewell of the CIA he also mentions some other top KGB-agents in the world, the West German Chancellor Willy Brandt, US ...

Richard II 5.5 from Shakespeare's Globe
From the BBC4 broadcast, aired 7 September 2003. Mark Rylance performs Richard II's prison soliloquy. The little dance he does when the music comes on is the same one the company does at the curtain call. I think that's neat.

Off the Record with Jim Ross (Part 1)
I didn't see this up on Youtube so I decided to upload it. This interview between Michael Landsberg and Jim Ross was conducted in 2003 when JR was Vice President of talent relations. Sadly for Michael he's losing his voice but luckily he's got the greatest announcer of all time around to help him out. In this part JR talks about Goldberg, Booker T, the chances of Sting and Randy Savage joining the company, re-hiring Sable as well as Mick Foley. Enjoy. Boomer Sooner!

Patek Philippe - Birth of a Legend
www.victorinoxblog.com Patek Philippe's story In 1839, Antoine Norbert de Patek and François Czapek founded Patek, Czapek & C° in Geneva. At the 1844 Universal Exhibition in Paris, Antoine Norbert de Patek met Jean Adrien Philippe, inventor in 1842 of a pocket watch with stem winding and hand-setting, and offered him the post of technical director as soon as Czapek's contract ran out. In 1845, Patek Czapek & C° was dissolved, and Antoine Norbert de Patek, Jean Adrien Philippe and Vincent Gostowski founded, in Geneva, Patek & C°. In 1851, the three men changed the company's name to Patek Philippe & C°. 1868 Creation of a key-wound watch with brass bracelet. 1887 The Calatrava Cross became the company's registered logo. 1902 The Gondolo Chronometer name was registered. 1914-1930 Creation of grande complication and très grande complication watches, certain of which, with astronomical complications, were sold to James Ward Packard. These included the first two most complicated pieces by Patek Philippe: one, made in 1916, with 16 complications and another, made in 1927, with 10 complications. 1915 Creation of the first ladies' wristwatch with five-minute repeater. 1925 Creation of the first ladies' wristwatch with perpetual calendar (inspired by a pendant watch). 1933 Henry Graves Jr. purchased what was then the most complicated watch ever made by Patek Philippe. It was sold again in 1999 for $11 million. 1936 Creation of an astronomical wristwatch with perpetual calendar and ...

Off the Record with Paul Heyman (Part 1)
This is another good episode of OTR that I didn't see on Youtube. Talking to Michael Landsberg this time is the evil genius himself, ECW founder Paul Heyman. This interview was conducted in 2002, not long after Stone Cold walked out on the company (he would eventually return at No Way Out in 2003). In this part of the interview Paul discusses the reasons for Austin's departure and whether Stone Cold was misused by WWE. He also discusses The Rock and why he is getting a tough time from fans (this was around the time the fans started booing The Rock which would eventually lead to his heel turn into Hollywood Rock in 2003). It's an interesting insight into Heyman's views on two of wrestling's biggest icons - Austin and Rock. Enjoy.

The Carlyle Connection (Shuchen Tan, VPRO Backlight 2003)
A revealing documentary about the international world of private equity banking. The Carlyle Group, one of the largest investment banks in the world, is based in Washington and has accumulated its capital mainly by investments in the defence industry. On their list of employees are people like Lou Gerstner (former chairman of IBM), George Bush Sr., James Baker III, John Major (former British Prime Minister) and Fidel Ramos (former Prime Minister of the Philipines). The Carlyle Group invests in areas that are closely tied to government policy: aero space and defense, telecom, real estate, health care and the banking business. With 16 billion dollar under management they have the reputation of being the best-connected company in the world. Their list of private investors include George Soros, the Saudi Royal Family and the Bin Laden Family. How does the Carlyle Group operate, who are the people behind the Carlyle Group and how much power does Carlyle have? This film explores the fine line between the conflict of interests and a new global way of doing business. Director: Shuchen Tan Research: Gijs M. Swantee, Ger Wieberdink, Christina Berio Producers: Mariska Schneider, Nicoline Tania Editors in chief: Doke Romeijn, Frank Wiering, Hans Keller

COD V was awesome, the Hatred/Gage feud was great, Rebel hit Ruckus with a watermelon, Aftermath was another awesome show, HI-V was fun, Mondo/Zandig died and Dutt was Dutt (even if he only hit the Phoenix Splash once in every four shows). CZW Follies 2003! February 8, 2003 -- Uncivilized The show began with a large brawl beneath a balcony between the Hi-V, the H8 Club, Nick Mondo and CZW security, ending with Ric Blade diving off of said balcony and somehow missing his intended target of 10 to 15 people. May 10, 2003 -- Then and Now The event was promoted as the 10th year anniversary of wrestling in the CZW Arena. Zandig stated that he had invited Tod Gordon and Paul Heyman to appear, noting that Gordon didn't want to show so "he didn't care" and that Heyman didn't return his calls so "he doesn't give a fuck about this place anymore." Zandig also said that he ...

The Men Who Killed Kennedy - Part 9 - The Guilty Men (2003)
The Men Who Killed Kennedy is a video documentary series by Nigel Turner that originally aired in 1988 in England with two one-hour segments about the John F. Kennedy assassination. The United States corporation, Arts & Entertainment Company, purchased the rights to the original two segments. Three one-hour segments were added in 1991. A sixth segment was added in 1995. Finally, three additional hourly segments were added by the History Channel in November 2003. The ninth segment, titled "The Guilty Men", directly implicated Lyndon B. Johnson. Within days, Johnson's widow, Lady Bird Johnson, more of his surviving associates, ex-President Jimmy Carter, and the lone, living Warren Commission commissioner and ex-President Gerald R. Ford immediately complained to the History Channel. They subsequently threatened legal action against Arts & Entertainment Company, owner of the History Channel. "The Guilty Men" segment was completely withdrawn by the History Channel. Also during the series, French prisoner Christian David named Lucien Sarti as one of three French criminals hired to carry out the assassination of Kennedy, when he was interviewed by author Anthony Summers. This claim is one of the most strongly investigated theories presented on the show.
