Surah Al-Munafiqun (The Hypocrite) - Salah Bukhatir
Al-Munafiqun Hypocrisy is such a sin against Islam and Muslims that even the Rasool's prayer cannot obtain forgiveness for them from Allah. Let not your riches or children divert you from the remembrance of Allah, lest you become a real loser. History: Before mentioning the particular incident about which this Surah was revealed, it is necessary to have a look at the history of the hypocrites of Madinah. The incident that occurred on this occasion was not a chance happening, but had a whole series of events behind it, all of which ultimately led up to it. Before the Prophet's migration to Madinah the tribes of the Aus and the Khazraj, fed up with their mutual rivalries and civil wars, had almost agreed on the leadership of one man and were making preparations to crown him their king. This was Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul, the chief of the Khazraj. Muhammad bin Ishaq has stated that among the people of Khazraj his authority was never contested and never had the Aus and the Khazraj rallied to one man before this. When the Prophet arrived in Madinah, Islam had so deeply penetrated every house of the Ansar that Abdullah bin Ubayy became helpless and did not see any other way to save his leadership than to become a Muslim himself. So, he entered Islam along with many of his followers from among the chiefs and leaders of both the tribes although their hearts were burning with rage from within. Ibn Ubayy in particular was filled with grief, for the Prophet (pbuh) had deprived ...

The Disease of Nationalism by Abdur Raheem Green
Nationalism Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "He is not one of us who calls for asabiyyah, (tribalism/nationalism) or who fights for asabiyyah, or who dies for asabiyyah." [Abu Dawud] On one occasion during the time of the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), a party of Jews conspired to bring about disunity in the ranks of the Muslims after seeing the Aus and Khazraj harmonious with each other within Islam. A youth from among them was sent to incite remembrance of the battle of Bu'ath, where the Aus had been victorious over the Khazraj. He recited poetry to stir their feelings, remind them of their past differences, and bring about division between them. As a result there was a call to arms. When the news reached the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) he said, "O Muslims, remember Allah, remember Allah. Will you act as pagans while I am present among you, after Allah has guided you to Islam, and honoured you thereby and made a clean break with paganism; delivered you thereby from disbelief; and made you friends thereby?" When they heard this they wept and embraced each other. [The Roots of Nationalism In The Muslim World] Islam is a religion that abhors racism, ethnicism, tribalism, and its newer version, nationalism. Differences of language, colour, cuisine and accent were meant to add flavour to life, not to be used to ridicule or fight each other. The past couple of centuries have seen wars between different ethnic groups on a scale ...

QASIMI usthaad- SANGADANA,NEDAVU,ANUYAYI 12
Do you know that Brotherhood is deeply embedded in our religion? Its a fundamental concept in Islam. Allah says, "The Believers are but one Brotherhood" (49:10). Let me demonstrate to you how essential Brotherhood is to Muslims, and I won't start from Prophet Muhammad's time, no, I'll go back much before that. Lets start with Prophet Moses (pbuh). When Allah told him that he must go to the Pharaoh of Egypt and convey to him the message of Allah, what did Moses ask? Allah tells us that he asked, "And give me a Minister from my family, Aaron, my brother; Add to my strength through him, And make him share my task: So that we may glorify you much and remember you much, Surely, You are seeing us." (20:29-35). Moses asked Allah to let Aaron be with him because his brother was so important to him and Moses knew that as a team they would be more successful and would help each other be better servants to Allah. Can you sense the love between both of them from the verses? Then Allah replied, "You are indeed granted your request, O Moses" (20:36). The two brothers demonstrate to us the importance of brotherhood and unity once again when Moses went to meet Allah and left Aaron in charge of the Children of Israel. When the Jews started to worship a golden cow Aaron tried to guide them back to The Straight Path and some people responded but most of them refused. Aaron noticed that this was causing a split in the community between the true Believers and those who deviated. Aaron feared ...

Disease of Nationalism - Abdur Raheem Green
Nationalism is a concept alien to Islam because it calls for unity based on family and tribalistic ties, whereas Islam binds people together on the `Aqeedah, that is belief in Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw). Islam calls for the ideological bond. Not only does Islam forbid people from grouping on nationalistic ties, but it also prohibits the establishment of more than one state, whether these states are based on nationalism or otherwise. The only state that is allowed for the Muslims is the Islamic State, which is a state that is governed exclusively by Islam. Allah (swt) addressed the Messenger (saw), "And rule between them by that which Allah revealed to you, and do not follow their vain desires away from the truth which came to you" [Surah Al-Madinah (5): ayah 48] he Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "Undoubtedly Allah has removed from you the pride of arrogance of the age of Jahilliyah (ignorance) and the glorification of ancestors. Now people are of two kinds. Either believers who are aware or transgressors who do wrong. You are all the children of Adam and Adam was made of clay. People should give up their pride in nations because that is a coal from the coals of Hell-fire. If they do not give this up Allah (swt) will consider them lower than the lowly worm which pushes itself through Khara (dung)." [Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi] There are many examples in the Seerah where the Messenger of Allah (saaw) had rebuked those who upheld nationalism. One one occasion a party of ...

Prophet's (pbuh) advice to Mu'adh - Dr. Bilal Philips
Mu'adh ibn Jabal, one of the companions who accepted Islam from Madina, from the tribe of Khazraj. He was one who the Prophet (saws) gave special responsiblities, especially in the area of da'wah. He is well known for the hadith of the call to Tawheed where the Prophet (saws) sent him to Yemen as the governer, judge, teacher of Yemen and told him that you're coming to a people from the people of the book and the first thing that you should call them to is the oneness, unique oneness of Allah. If they accept that, then inform them that Allah has made obligatory on them five daily prayers and so on and so forth. Here we're going to be looking at another occaison in which the Prophet (saws) gave Mu'adh a special message. A message which Mu'adh conveyed to the Ummah as a whole. This message contained a special du'a which the Prophet (saws) taught him and on the basis of which the Prophet (saws) expressed his great love for Mu'adh. Fatwa: Can The Jinn Kidnap Humans - Al´Allâmah Muqbil bin Hâdî al-Wâdi´î
Some of the ways to prevent this is reciting Qur'an a lot, seeking refuge in the Perfect Words of Allaah when one enters their house, and saying: "Bismillahi alladhi la yadurru ma`a ismihi shai'un fil-ardi wa-la fil-sama'i wa huwa al-Sami`u al-'Alim (In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on the earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing)" three times every morning and evening. By doing so, nothing can harm a person. A person should also say: "A'udhu bi kalimatillah al-tammat min sharri ma khalaq (I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of what He has created)," these are all ways of preventing and being safe from the evil of the devils, both jinn and human. Fatwas of Nur `Ala Al-Darb Volume 1 Chapter on `Aqidah Chapter on proving that the Ummah of Muhummed includes all Humans and Jinn Ruling on Jinn companionship for human 88- Ruling on Jinn companionship for human goo.gl Sa'd ibn 'Ubaadah was killed by the jinn when he urinated in a hole in which was their dwelling place, and they said, "We have killed the leader of Khazraj Sa'd ibn 'Ubaadah; we struck him with an arrow and we did not miss his heart." At the time of 'Umar, a man was kidnapped by the jinn and stayed with them for four years, then he came back and told the people that some mushrik jinn had kidnapped him, and he stayed with them as a prisoner, then some Muslim jinn launched a campaign against them and defeated them, and brought him back to his ...
