Awareness Campaign at First Congregationalist Church, Winter Park, FL - Conversations
abortionmatrix.com We decided to attend a service at the First Congregationalist Church of Winter Park. We were met by about 25 church defenders dressed in neon yellow vests. We were there to bring a pro-life message to the UCC and call on them to repent for their support of abortion on demand. For all the UCC's talk of "tolerance" and "inclusiveness," that is something they find intolerable. When we do these church awareness campaigns we are not protesting against the "church" or its ministers or members. We are there to make the congregants aware of the abortion issue. In the past, we have conducted these pro-life Awareness Campaigns at Joel Hunter's Church in Maitland, Florida while Michele Obama was speaking there. We also conducted a campaign at a pastors conference that featured TD Jakes and Joel Osteen. See youtu.be In each of these venues, there is always a clear division. We meet Christians that are gravely concerned over the abortion holocaust as well as some who won't receive our message. We had a meaningful conversation with one of the men who said he was a member and a deacon. At one point, he was escorted away from us by some of the volunteers at the church. I suppose he was told that their policy was not to engage with the pro-life demonstrators because we stand for "hate." But then he came back and talked to several of us for nearly an hour. We talked about abortion, church history, the US Constitution, philosophy, architecture, and so on. We argued ...

God Be With You Till We Meet Again with Lyrics
Video copyright Youtube User ID bobf72450. God Be With You Till We Meet Again performed by The Ely Cathedral Choir from the album, Will Your Anchor Hold. Jeremiah Rankin wrote this fine hymn in 1882. You'd think a song like that had a special story behind it- but no. Rankin said he just wanted something the church could sing when service was breaking up for the week. He got the idea for the first stanza of the song when the dictionary told him that "good-bye" was short for "God be with you." Rankin was a Congregationalist but he sent the words to the Methodist organist, William G. Tomer, who wrote the tune. However, it was Ira B. Sankey, Moody's song evangelist, who really popularized the song, singing it on both sides of the Atlantic.

Dr. Suzanna Hupp Testimony Before Congress on the 2nd Amendment
Luby's Cafeteria Massacre survivor Dr. Suzanna Gratia Hupp testifying to Congress on why good Americans obeying bad gun laws leads to death and suffering. The former Texas House Representative shared her story about her parents being killed before her eyes by a shooter in a Luby's Restaurant. Due to gun restrictions, she had left her gun in her car that fateful day. Ever since, she has been spreading the word about a right-to-carry law would have probably saved her parents' lives. IMPORTANT QUOTES ON LIBERTY & THE 2nd AMENDMENT RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS www.angelfire.com Congregationalist minister and Harvard graduate, Jonathan Mayhew, is considered by many to be the prophet of the American Revolution. In 1750 Mayhew published a sermon entitled "A Discourse Concerning Unlimited Submission and Non-Resistance to the Higher Powers" in which he addressed the issue of obedience to a higher authority as required by Romans 13, stating, "That no civil rulers are to be obeyed when they enjoin things that are inconsistent with the commands of God.... All commands running counter to the declared will of the Supreme Legislator of heaven and earth are null and void, and therefore disobedience to them is a duty, not a crime." Mayhew continued: "From whence it follows, that as soon as the prince sets himself up above law, he loses the king in the tyrant. He does, to all intents and purposes, unking himself by acting out of and beyond that sphere which the constitution allows him to move in ...

The Ancient Church (1of3) - True Christianity is the Eastern Orthodox Faith
How old is the EASTERN ORTHODOX CHURCH ? True Christianity is the Eastern Orthodox Faith. If you are a Lutheran, your religion was founded by Martin Luther, an ex-monk of the Catholic Church, in the year 1517. If you belong to the Church of England, your religion was founded by King Henry VIII in the year 1534 because the Pope would not grant him a divorce with the right to re-marry. If you are a Presbyterian, your religion was founded by John Knox in Scotland in the year 1560. If you are a Congregationalist, your religion was originated by Robert Brown in Holland in 1582. If you are Protestant Episcopalian, your religion was an offshoot of the Church of England, founded by Samuel Senbury in the American colonies in the 17th century. If you are a Baptist, you owe the tenets of your religion to John Smyth, who launched it in Amsterdam in 1606. If you are of the Dutch Reformed Church, you recognize Michelis Jones as founder because he originated your religion in New York in 1628. If you are a Methodist, your religion was founded by John and Charles Wesley in England in 1774. If you are a Mormon (Latter Day Saints), Joseph Smith started your religion in Palmyra, New York, in 1829. Easter - Christian or Pagan?
Acharya S is a scholar classically educated in archaeology, history, mythology and languages. Acharya specializes in religion and mythology, critiquing and comparing them, and providing unique insights into their origins. Although born into a Christian (Congregationalist Protestant) family, Acharya does not subscribe to any particular religion, nor is she a hardcore "atheist." Acharya is the author of the controversial books "The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold"; "Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled"; "Who Was Jesus? Fingerprints of The Christ"; and "Christ in Egypt: The Horus-Jesus Connection." Among other less flattering things, Acharya S has been called "the ranking religious philosopher of our era" and "the voice of reason amidst global chaos." Her web site contains a wealth of information about: religion spirituality mythology archaeology history astrotheology archaeoastronomy ... www.TruthBeKnown.com http For more on the Pagan Roots of Easter, see: truthbeknown.com

Appadiya gives you the complete list of Historic Events, Scientific Events, Birthday's of Great Personalities and past Sporting Events that gained prominence in History. Robert Ingersoll was born in Dresden, New York. His father, John Ingersoll, was an abolitionist-leaning Congregationalist preacher, whose radical views forced his family to move frequently. For a time, Rev. John Ingersoll filled the pulpit for American revivalist Charles G. Finney while Finney was on a tour of Europe. Upon Finney's return, Rev. Ingersoll remained for a few months as co-pastor pastor under Finney. The elder Ingersoll's later pastoral experiences influenced young Robert negatively, however, as The Elmira Telegram described in 1890: [1] Though for many years the most noted of American infidels, Colonel Ingersoll was born and reared in a devoutly Christian household. His father, John Ingersoll, was a Congregationalist minister and a man of mark in his time, a deep thinker, a logical and eloquent speaker, broad minded and generously tolerant of the views of others. The popular impression which credits Ingersoll's infidelity in the main to his father's severe orthodoxy and the austere and gloomy surroundings in which his boyhood was spent is wholly wrong. On the contrary the ...
