Peace with Pakistan not possible, reply in the language it understands: BJP
Amidst the ongoing escalation of tension between India and Pakistan over the recent ceasefire violation by the neighbour and the killing of Indian soldiers, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yashwant Sinha on Tuesday said that peace with the neighbouring country was not possible. Taking a tough stand against the country over the ceasefire violation, the former foreign minister said, "You cannot have peace with Pakistan...it should be replied in the language that they understand, which the Pakistani army understands." Though he welcomed the strong statement of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the BJP leader pointed that Singh had not defined what he meant by "business as usual" with Pakistan.
