Poor Unfortunate Souls [from The Little Mermaid]

I've always thought that Ursula was a more interesting character than Ariel from The Little Mermaid, so that's why I chose Poor Unfortunate Souls. I placed 3rd in the character section of the Dunedin Singing Competition 2010. The judge thought it was a great character but that I'd placed more emphasis on the drama than on the singing.

I love how...smooth (?) they look. I don't really know how to describe them, but I love them! This is NOT the whole set! I was lucky enough to find these while out thrifting, and unfortunately this is all there was. I believe I'm missing four or five sisters!

Before any of you accuse me of stealing an idea, this was inspired by MikomiShizuka's video "Odette - The Reaper". It's really good, so you should go watch it. Song: Don't Fear the Reaper Artist: Alana Davis Movies Used: The Little Mermaid Hercules Alice in Wonderland Sleeping Beauty Anastasia Pocahontas Snow White Basic Plot: Ariel is Hades wife, and love, who starts off asleep. He wakes her up and sends her off to go collect lost/murdered/unready souls for him. Because of her kind nature she is a much more pleasant sight to see in death and she leads those to their resting spot with joy in their hearts. She even gives back life to those who shouldn't be dead (children a.k.a Alice) but all this death depresses her quickly. So Hades, like always, simply puts her back to sleep until her heart can heal and the process starts over. I'm thinking about making a part that explains how Ariel became Hades. This experience has seen her perform at many concerts and events, ranging from Michael Jackson's concert at the SCG to the Prime Minister's National Treasures concert. From there Alana appeared on several television shows such as The Midday Show, The Aria Music Awards, The AFI Awards, Today Tonight, Saturday Disney, Carols in the Domain and Cheez TV. Alana starred in her first feature film 'Amy' at the tender age of seven, where in 1999 she went on to win the Best Actress Award in both Italy and Canada. She was also nominated in Australia's Top Ten Best Actress Awards at the People's Choice Awards along with Nicole Kidman, Toni Collette and Rachael Griffiths. Alana then got offered a recording contract with festival/mushroom records and went on to release the single "Aint no sunshine" and the soundtrack for the movie. She was then contracted with Disney to record "Part of your world" for the re-release of The Little Mermaid Movie. Alana's Theatre experience ranges from productions over the years such as Aladdin in 1996 at the State Theatre and Oliver in 2002 at the lyric theatre. She has also appeared in a few short films and many TV commercials over the years. These days Alana has been writing her own material and is currently working on her EP.
