Speed of Fencing long version
Behind the bullet, the tip of a fencing blade is the second fastest-moving object in Olympic sports. Speed of Fencing captures the grace and movements of New York's top epee fencers. Using high-speed photography, amateur spectators will be able to see some of the fastest actions in all of sport for the first time. For the untrained eye, a flick scores without notice. Body signals and feints are too acute for a novice. And what happens when someone blinks at the wrong moment? Fencing has some of the fastest moving objects in sport, which is arguably why it is hard to watch and not spectator friendly. All of these actions will be realized in slow motion with high-speed photography to allow the viewer to appreciate and see what happens in the mind of a trained fencer. These actions appear slower to show the speed in which the mind is calculating each action from years of training and repetition. fence made from pallets holds in goats and pigs
www.permies.com Karen Biondo of La biondo Farm and Kitchen, on Vashon Island in Washington state, shows off her fence made of pallets. After getting this bit of video, she showed me another pallet fence that wasn't doing so well - it used a zigzag design - but apparently could not stand up well to the animals. And then there were designs with steel fence posts that weren't doing well either. But this design, the one in the video, help up especially well. Goats and pigs are both known to be extra hard on fence. And this fence has held in both goats and pigs. And she is in the same county as Seattle. So this fence is tolerating a lot of wet rot! The Scream
“I was walking along a path with two friends – the sun was setting – suddenly the sky turned blood red – I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence – there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city – my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety – and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.”

Intentio - Trailer
The funny thing about fairy tales, is that we forget about them so fast
And we grow up, we buy things, we build up fences
We sell our innocence and forget our dreams
We forget who we are in order to be something we're not
And we'll keep believing in this so called truths, until we forget how to live
Or until we open our eyes, and wake up.
This is a trailer for Intentio an Independent film to be released soon.

The Fencing Response Compilation Video
"You go out; your hands go up." The fencing response is an unnatural position of the arms following a concussion. Immediately after moderate forces have been applied to the brainstem, the forearms are held flexed or extended (typically into the air) for a period lasting up to several seconds after the impact. The Fencing Response is often observed during athletic competition involving contact, such as football, hockey, rugby, boxing and martial arts. It is used as an overt indicator of injury force magnitude and midbrain localization to aid in injury identification and classification for events including, but not limited to, on-field and/or bystander observations of sports-related head injuries. For more information, please visit: en.wikipedia.org or google search "fencing response" Source: Hosseini, AH, and J. Lifshitz. Brain Injury Forces of Moderate Magnitude Elicit the Fencing Response. Med. Sci. Sports Exerc., Vol. 41, No. 9, pp. 1687--1697, 2009. Audio: Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino Variation) This video is intended for educational purposes. It aims to broaden public awareness of traumatic brain injuries as well as physical indicators of such head injuries, especially with respect to those occurring with high-contact sports. All clips were gathered from the YouTube public domain.

Brainiac - Electric Fence
READ PLEASE. Clip taken from UK Show, Brainiac, Season 1 Episode 4. Electric Fence Experiment Richard Hammond shows the Brainiacs how fun Electricity can be. Also, yes, if you are in the air when the electricity goes through, you don't get a shock. You don't get shocked if the circuit (box to fence to person to ground to box) doesn't complete. On top of that, the end where he ALMOST shakes Hammond's hand, he doesn't. Also, the slight gap in time between feet hitting ground and the shock can be attributed to the 1-2 second delay caused by the fence not being constantly on. 1st Song: Electric Six - Danger! High Voltage 0:00 - 1:04 1:20 - 1:33 2nd Song: Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue (Ringbang Remix). 2:20 - 5:20
