The WPA ranking Top 8 male players and Top 8 female players can enter the main tournament directly. 2. The CBSA ranking Top 8 male players and Top 8 female players and appointed wildcard players can enter the main tournament directly. 3. Players promote from the division competition enter the main tournament. Men’s division has 64players in main draw, while women’s division has 32 players 5. Format (1.) Rules for qualifying round: Three qualifying tournaments, no seeded player, single-elimination.Numbers of players in each qualifying tournament are limited to 128 for men and 64 for women. Single-elimination, Men race to 9, Women race to 7, Winner Break. (2.) Main tournament Section 1: Men and Women division – Double-elimination, Alternate Break. Men Race to 9, Women Race to 7. Section 2: Single-elimination, Alternate Break. Men race to 11, Women race to 9. Final will beMen race to 13 and Women race to 11. (3.) The tournament will follow WPA 9-ball rules, 1-ball on spot. (4.)Each player has 45 seconds to execute the shot, players will be reminded when the shot clock is down to 10 second and there is a countdown for the last 5 seconds. Each player has rights to call for one extension in one rack. One time-out for each player during each match (5 minutes).
