"Drugs" is a song by Ammonia, released as their debut single from their debut album Mint 400 in 1995, however two songs had been released prior as EPs, In A Box and Sleepwalking. The song was an instant hit and is still regarded as one of the band's most recognized songs.
Lead singer Dave Johnstone is quoted as saying 'There isn't really that much of a message, "Drugs" is about apathy towards drugs'. The song was written in five minutes during a rehearsal and peaked at #32 on the Australian Singles chart and came in at #27 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 for 1995. In North America, it reached #29 on the Billboard's Hot Modern Rock Tracks and #22 on the Canadian rock/alternative chart.

"The Red Badge of Gayness" is episode 45 of Comedy Central's animated series South Park. It originally aired on November 24, 1999.
In the summer of 2013, fans voted "The Red Badge of Gayness" as the best episode of Season 3.
The episode's name is a play on the Red Badge of Courage.
As the entire town of South Park is preparing to hold its annual American Civil War reenactment of the (fictional) Battle of Tamarack Hill, the children rehearse as a Union Army rally band.
In the morning of the reenactment, Jimbo informs the reenactors that over 200 people will come to see them reenact the battle, setting a new record. He also takes the time to remind everyone that the primary sponsor of their event is Jagerminz S'more-flavored Schnapps, "the schnapps with the delightful taste of s'mores." In addition, the special guest will be Stan's grandpa, Marvin Marsh. Meanwhile, Cartman comes dressed as General Robert E. Lee, and the boys are outraged by his dressing as a Confederate officer. Evidently under the impression that the reenactment is a competition of some sort, Cartman bets that the South will win the Civil War, and if it does, Stan and Kyle will be his slaves for a month, or vice versa. Knowing that the outcome is supposed to be historical victory for the North as planned, Stan and Kyle eagerly accept the challenge.
War is a large-scale armed conflict and the term is used as a metaphor for non-military conflicts.

Line them up make them stand
Let the people countermand
Reaching for the upper hand
Casting lots to rule the fairyland
War is love, war is hell
And in our minds we will never know
Was it a show
And the magic gets stronger that keeps us from seeing in
Start the clock fire the gun
I'll wait to see who will outrun
Feeding on comparison
Plastic faces stand up to the sun
And in our minds we will never know
Was it a show
And the magic gets stronger that keeps us from seeing in
Perfect tie perfect hair
Perfect coach perfect stare
Perfect speech perfect flair
Perfect chill perfect scare
So I'm glad that its not me
Who has the ring or holds the key
Or has to call the family
Or makes a mark on all eternity
And in our minds we will never know
Was it a show
And the magic gets stronger that keeps us from seeing it
