Top 10 Smallest Countries in the World
Top 10 Smallest Countries in the World 10. Malta -- 122 square miles (316 sq km) -Cracking our top 10 is the European island country of Malta. Known for its Order of Knights and the Maltese Cross, Malta is inhabited by a total of just over 450,000 citizens populating an area of 122 square miles (316 sq km). With an average of about 3,400 citizens per square mile, it is also one of the most densely populated countries in the world. 9. Maldives -- 120 square miles (300 sq km) -Yet another island country and the popular tourist destination, the beautiful Maldives. Natural beauty is what Maldives are known for, with astonishing diving sites and an abundant underwater life thriving with stunning rare creatures. 8. Saint Kitts and Nevis -- 101 square miles (261 sq km) -As the smallest country in the Americas, Saint Kitts and Nevis lands at No. 8 of our top list with a total land area of 101 square miles (261 sq km). Sometimes referred to as The Mother Colony of the West Indies, Saint Kitts and Nevis were among the first Caribbean islands ever to be settled by Europeans. 7. Marshall Islands -- 70 square miles (181 sq km) -So far our list was entirely consisted of island countries, and Marshall Islands isn't about to break this pattern, which is actually quite obvious just from the name itself. Located north of Australia in the Pacific Ocean, it's also the first country on our list to go below the 100 square miles mark. 6. Liechtenstein -- 62 square miles (160 sq km) -We've reached land at last, Europe to be precise. As the first continental country on our top 10, Liechtenstein is smallest yet richest German-speaking country. Located in Central Europe, it has a land mass of 62 square miles (160 sq km). 5. San Marino -- 24 square miles (61 sq km) -We're still in Europe, but we've gone a bit southbound, to northern Italy. Drastically smaller than all of the countries listed so far, San Marino gets very close to minuscule size of 20 square miles (50 sq km). It has an estimated population of 30,000 inhabiting the area of 24 square miles (61 sq km). 4. Tuvalu -- 10 square miles (26 sq km) -Formerly known as the Ellice Islands, Tuvalu marks our return to island countries. Located in the Pacific Ocean east of Australia, it takes up an area of approximately 10 square miles, and with a population of 10,000, Tuvalu has a quite dense population of over 1,000 inhabitants per square mile. 3. Nauru -- 8.1 square miles (21 sq km) -We've reached the end as far as island countries go. We are in Micronesia and we are looking at the smallest island country in the world, the tiny Nauru. Apart from cracking out top 3, it is also the first country to go below the 10 square miles area size. With a population of under 9,500, it is also the world's second least populated country. 2. Monaco -- 0.78 square miles (2 sq km) -With a size smaller than a single square mile, Monaco definitely has a lot to offer. Known for its luxury, expensive yachts and casinos, it is no wonder that Monaco has become a rich tourist center. It even has a Formula 1 track which goes through the streets of the city. 1. Vatican -- 0.17 square miles (0.44 sq km) -We've reached the very top of our list. A country within a city, taking up mere 110 acres (44 ha), Vatican is by far the world's smallest country. It's also the center of Catholic faith and a home to the biggest church in the world, the world-famous St. Peter's Basilica. With a population of slightly over 800 citizens, it also takes the title of the least populated country in the world. source-http://smalleststuff.com/smallest-countries-in-the-world/ I, Sk Atar Ali hereby declare that all Images use to make this video is from Google Search www.google.com. Australia Is a Country Worth Visiting
Australia Is a Country Worth Visiting
Identified as the Land of Down Under, Australia is the world's sixth largest country by area. It comprises of the island of Tasmania, the mainland continent and several other minuscule islands. The country is surrounded by the Banda, Arafura, Bismarck, Timor, and Solomon Seas to the north and west. The geographical portrait of Australia states that the east and south areas of the country covered by the Coral Sea, Great Bight and Tasman Sea, respectively. The population of Australia is around 23,241,073. Since 1780, the country was under British decree. Earlier, the most hard line British criminals were sent to the land of Australia, which was served as a British penal colony. If you notice the constituent parts of British and Australian national flags, you will see the Australian flag still carries the Union Jack in its flag. Over time, Australia has delivered several phenomenal names in the fields of sports and movies. This list includes but not limited to the names such as, Paul Hogan, Mel Gibson, Sir Donald George Bradman, etc. Paul Hogan made his mark in movies and commercials by playing the role of the Crocodile Dundee. Sir Donald Bradman has set a new example with his momentous contributions in cricket that influences many cricketers in today's modern age of the sport. In addition to these noteworthy names, Australia is also known for its remarkable cities including Sydney, Perth and Melbourne. The country consists of six states: Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. The capital of Australia is Canberra, where you will find over 367,752 residents. The capital city of Australia is situated at the southern area of the island nation. Some of the prominent hangouts in this city include the War Memorial, the Black Mountain Water area, the National Library and National University. Due to its enthralled museums, night life and entertainment venues, Australia have become one of the premier destinations for visitors across the sphere. Places like the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the beaches of Melbourne continue to be the most appealing locations for tourists to visit. Besides, the cities of Australia are emerging out for their advanced infrastructure and commercial centers. The country also has good prospects in medical, IT and manufacturing sectors. With more than 4.6 million people living here, Sydney is the largest city in the country. As a result of which, it is considered as the state capital of New South Wales. The historic tale of Sydney reveals that the city was formed in 1788 when the land was a penal colony. It was established by the commodore of the First Fleet, Arthur Phillip. Like any other cities in Australia, Sydney also claims to be the most preferred location to visit. The prime landmark here in Sydney is the Opera House. The architectural design of the Opera House attracts thousands of tourists on a regular basis. In addition, tourists also rush to the Harbor Bridge, which is another startling location to visit in this country. While visiting Australia, tourists plunge into the marvelous natural beauty of the country surrounded by graceful gardens, parks and prolific beaches. Some of the popular beaches that you would love to visit are Bondi and Manly along with the Hyde Park area and the Botanic Garden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQlqBo1YJkc&feature;=c4-overview&list;=UUhmM-28UnVF6Z7CjLXiAcXQ https://www.youtube.com/user/wikiturget http://EzineArticles.com/8255032- published: 04 Feb 2014

View more http://aducdang.com , http://oncamps.net Authorities searching for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane have widened their search, with the west coast of Malaysia now "the focus" of the hunt. The airline said in a statement it was looking at the possibility that the plane tried to return to an airport at Subang, near the capital, Kuala Lumpur. But the statement stressed officials were looking at all possibilities. Beijing-bound flight MH370 vanished on Saturday shortly after it left Kuala Lumpur. There were 239 people on board. In a statement, Malaysia Airlines said: "The search and rescue teams have expanded the scope beyond the flight path." The focus was now on the west peninsula of Malaysia at the Straits of Malacca, the airline said. "The authorities are looking at a possibility of an attempt made by MH370 to turn back to Subang... Apart from the search in the sea, search on land in between these areas is also conducted." Rescue teams from several countries are scouring the seas for signs of the plane. Malaysian authorities said on Monday they were expanding the search area from 50 nautical miles from where the plane had disappeared - over waters between Malaysia and Vietnam - to 100 nautical miles (115 miles; 185km). China's Xi'an Satellite Control Centre launched an emergency response and adjusted the operations of up to 10 orbiting satellites to help in the search, a website run by the People's Liberation Army said late on Monday. Meanwhile, Boeing said that it had joined the US National Transportation Safety Board team as a technical advisor. The team has positioned a group of investigators and technical advisers in Asia to offer assistance. Candlelight vigil At least 40 ships and 34 aircraft are taking part in the search in the seas off Vietnam and Malaysia. Search and rescue teams from Australia, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, New Zealand and the United States of America are assisting, Malaysia Airlines said. On Monday, people gathered in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur to hold a candlelight vigil for the missing passengers. Families in Beijing and Kuala Lumpur have expressed frustration at the lack of information about the plane's fate. Flight MH370 left Kuala Lumpur for Beijing at 00:41 local time on Saturday (16:41 GMT on Friday). But radio contact was lost at 17:30 GMT, somewhere between Malaysia and Vietnam. Officials say they still have no idea what went wrong. None of the debris and oil slicks spotted in the water so far have proven to be linked to the disappearance. Authorities are also investigating two men who boarded the missing plane on Italian and Austrian passports stolen in Thailand years ago. Malaysian police said they had identified one of the men. They did not reveal his identity, but confirmed the man was not Malaysian. Experts say the presence of two passengers with stolen passports is a breach of security, but is relatively common in the region and could relate to illegal migration. Malaysia Airlines is the country's national carrier, flying nearly 37,000 passengers daily to some 80 destinations worldwide. abc breaking news, bbc, bbc football, bbc iplayer, bbc news, bbc news america, bbc persian, bbc sport, bbc weather, bbc world news, breaking celebrity news, breaking election news, breaking late news, breaking local news, breaking music news, breaking news, breaking news alerts, breaking news canada, breaking news headlines, breaking news in atlanta, breaking news in nigeria, breaking news india, breaking news pensacola florida, breaking news plane crash, breaking news story, breaking sports news, business expensive news home media world, christian world news, cnn, cnn breaking news, cnn money, cnn news, cnn news breaking news, cnn news world, detroit breaking news, global news, headline, headline news, health care technology news, hot latest global news, internet technology news, las vegas breaking news, latest breaking news, latest celebrity news, latest information technology news, latest music news, latest news, latest news headlines, latest news update, latest sports news, live breaking news, local breaking news, local news today, msn breaking news, nbc breaking news, nbc world news, news of the world, news report us world, news today news, news updated daily, solar technology news, sports news today, technology news, the latest news, today news, us news and world, us news and world report, us news and world report magazine, us news and world report web site, us news world report, world news, world news daily, world news headlines,Ukrainian,Ukraine Protest,Ukraine Crisis,Ukraine Ex-Leader,Malaysia Airlines,Malaysia Airlines Missing Plane,Malaysia Plane Search,Malaysia West Coast,Sea Coast,Malaysia Airlines Latest News,Malaysia Airlines Today News,Airlines News- published: 19 Mar 2014

The Dead Sea: Renowned for its awesome beauty products that could make anyone look younger, the Dead Sea is one of the great places to visit before they disappear. In the next 50 years, you will not be able to find Dead Sea products. The thing is that the sea is shrinking at an alarming rate. When you visit the Dead Sea today, you see that all hotels and resorts that once were on the coast are a mile away from where the sea lies these days. 2. The Maldives: The Maldives is the smallest Asian country in both land area and population. The islands of Maldives are also the lowest nation in the world. With 80% of the islands less than one meter above sea level, within 100 years the Maldives could be uninhabitable since they could be underwater. 3. Madagascar: Madagascar is world-famous for its lemurs. Over 20 different species of lemurs and the 80% of the wildlife and plants that are found in Madagascar are not found anywhere else in the world. If nothing is done to save the island, it will disappear in 35 years. The ecosystem is being destroyed by poaching, logging, and burning for subsistence farms. 4. Venice: Venice has sunk 9 inches in the last 100 years. Just imagine, 9 inches! Even though officials are trying to stop the sinking, there's not much to be done. Scientists estimate that in 70 years, Venice will be underwater. Probably, that's why tourism has jumped dramatically since 2007! 5. The Great Barrier Reef: The world's largest coral reef, the Great Barrier Reef is another fabulous place to visit before it disappears. The continuing rising of ocean temperatures, cyclones, coral bleaching, and water pollution are destroying the reef every year. Experts estimate that about 60% of the reef may be lost by 2030. Sadly, those 8,000 years of natural creation could vanish within your lifetime. So make sure to see the Great Barrier Reef before it disappears. 6. The Congo Basin: The second largest rainforest in the world after the Amazon, the Congo Basin spans across six Central African countries. It is a collection of forests, rivers, swamps and savannas. It's also responsible for 40% of the world's oxygen. The United Nations has estimated that more than 2/3 of the forest and its plants and animals could disappear by 2040. Illegal logging, mining, ranching, farming, and guerrilla warfare are destroying the basin yearly. 7. The Alps: One of the great mountain range systems of Europe, the Alps are well worth a visit. There are many resorts including Saalbach in Austria, Oberstdorf, in Bavaria, Chamonix in France, Cortina d'Ampezzo in Italy, and Davos in Switzerland recording over a million visitors every year. 8. The Taj Mahal: Being one of the most popular tourist attractions in India, the Taj Mahal attracts over 3-4 million people every year. However, it could soon disappear. The air pollution and the crowds are eating away its white stone facade, so tourism officials are considering closing this monument to the public. You have 5 years to visit it, why not book your ticket right now? 9. The Glacier National Park: A little more than 100 years ago, the Glacier National Park had more than a 150 glaciers strewn throughout it. Nowadays, there are only 27 glaciers, which could disappear by 2030. There are also more than 1,500 species of animals and plants that could be lost. That's why I decided to take a road trip and do a little camping in the Glacier National Park to experience its beauty and wonders. 10. Patagonia: A massive and untouched land in South America, Patagonia could be greatly altered by global warming. Because of increasing temperatures and precipitation declines many of its glaciers are steadfastly retreating. Maybe this land won't vanish entirely, but its landscape will soon be changed beyond recognition if climate change persists. 11. Alaskan Tundra: According to experts at the University of Berkley, the Alaskan tundra is the coldest biome in the world. Permafrost, low temperatures, and little nutrients in the soil prevent many kinds of plants and trees from growing. Alaskan tundra is definitely one of the most beautiful places to visit before they vanish!- published: 18 May 2014

ASIANS ARE CRAZY!!!
ASIANS ARE CRAZY!!!
Hello, welcome to my channel! This is my very first video so give me some feed back on whether or not you found this funny and if so please subscribe, like, and share. It would mean a lot if you did. I got this idea in a dream I had. Lol This video is not meant to be offensive to anyone and is just a joke. The asian guy in this video thought this was a funny idea and agreed to be in it with me. In this video, I play kind of a ghetto person at the DMV and my friend plays and asian guy who wants to renew his drivers license. He asks me if I can renew his drivers license and so I do, but then I make a bunch of hilarious jokes about asians and his sexuality. Some of the things I make fun of him about is the fact that he is korean and in the video I don't know where the heck that is so I blankly "What's a Korea?" and then he says "You know, Kimchi and the Korean War." I respond blankly again and he asks "Gangnam Style" while doing the dance move and i respond, "oh!!!, Nihao kim jong un!!" That joke was probably the funniest joke in the whole entire video, I even screwed that up a couple of times when we were filming so we had to refilm a lot. Another funny thing about my video is that I ask him his gender and put down female on my clip board, then he says "I'm a guy", then I laugh and say "so you're a lesbian?" then he responds with "No, I'm a guy as in male." I thought that was another funny scene in this video and me and my friends could not stop laughing at that particular joke. So, I hope that you enjoyed my very first youtube video and there should be more to come vey soon if you like, subscribe, and share. Thank you so much. For other uses, see Asia (disambiguation). It covers 8.7% of the Earth's total surface area and comprises 30% of its land area. With approximately 4.3 billion people, it hosts 60% of the world's current human population. Asia has a high growth rate in the modern era. For instance, during the 20th century, Asia's population nearly quadrupled.[3] The boundaries of Asia are culturally determined, as there is no clear geographical separation between it and Europe, which together form one continuous landmass called Eurasia. The most commonly accepted boundaries place Asia to the east of the Suez Canal, the Ural River, and the Ural Mountains, and south of the Caucasus Mountains (or the Kuma--Manych Depression) and the Caspian and Black Seas.[4][5] It is bounded on the east by the Pacific Ocean, on the south by the Indian Ocean and on the north by the Arctic Ocean. Given its size and diversity, the concept of Asia -- a name dating back to classical antiquity - may actually have more to do with human geography than physical geography.[6] Asia varies greatly across and within its regions with regard to ethnic groups, cultures, environments, economics, historical ties and government systems.- published: 01 Jan 2014

Why Orwell Matters, released in the UK as Orwell's Victory, is a book-length biographical essay by Christopher Hitchens. In it, the author relates George Orwell's thoughts on and actions in relation to: the British Empire; the left; the right; the United States; English conventions; feminism and women; and his controversial list for the British Foreign Office. At the end of the book, Hitchens critiques Orwell's novels and legacy. An essayistic sequel to the book, Why Orwell Still Matters, appears in John Rodden's 2007 compilation The Cambridge Companion to George Orwell (ISBN 987-0-521-85842-7). The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK; Chosŏn'gŭl: 조선민주주의인민공화국; Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk), commonly called North Korea, is a country in East Asia, in the northern half of the Korean Peninsula. Its capital is Pyongyang, the country's largest city by both land area and population. The Amnok River and the Tumen River form the international border between North Korea and China. A small section of the Tumen River also lies along the border between North Korea and Russia, technically following the river's thalweg. The Korean Demilitarized Zone forms the boundary between North Korea and South Korea. The legitimacy of this border is not accepted by either side, as both states claim to be the legitimate government of the entire peninsula. The Korean peninsula was governed by the Korean Empire from the late 19th century to the early 20th century, until it was annexed by the Empire of Japan in 1910. After the surrender of Japan at the end of World War II, Japanese rule ceased. The Korean peninsula was divided into two occupied zones in 1945, with the northern half of the peninsula occupied by the Soviet Union and the southern half by the United States. A United Nations--supervised election held in 1948 led to the creation of separate Korean governments for the two occupation zones: the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the north, and the Republic of Korea in the south. The conflicting claims of sovereignty led to the Korean War in 1950. An armistice in 1953 committed both to a cease-fire, but the two countries remain officially at war because a formal peace treaty was never signed.[8] Both states were accepted into the United Nations in 1991.[9] North Korea's political parties include the Workers' Party of Korea, the Korean Social Democratic Party and the Chondoist Chongu Party; there are also some independent deputies. The three political parties participate in the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland led by the Workers' Party of Korea.[10] The government follows the Juche ideology of self-reliance, initiated by the country's first President, Kim Il-sung. After his death, Kim Il-sung was declared the country's Eternal President. Juche became the official state ideology, replacing Marxism--Leninism, when the country adopted a new constitution in 1972.[11][12] In 2009, references to Communism (Chosŏn'gŭl: 공산주의) were removed from the country's constitution.[13] Education in North Korea is universal and state funded, with a national literacy rate of 99%.[14] The country has a national medical service and claims to offer free healthcare. Conflicting accounts report that patients must pay.[14] Many hospitals lack basic medicine, equipment, running water, and electricity due to economic problems and minimal budget allocation; at approximately 1 dollar per person per year, lower than that of most African countries.[15] Housing and food rations traditionally have been heavily subsidized.[14] The means of production are owned by the state through state-run enterprises and collectivized farms.[14] Food output is one of the lowest worldwide, with the UN estimating 16 million people requiring food aid.[16][17] North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il adopted Songun, or military-first policy in order to strengthen the country and its government.[18] North Korea is the world's most militarized country, with a total of 9,495,000 active, reserve, and paramilitary personnel. Its active duty army of 1.21 million is the 4th largest in the world, after China, the U.S., and India. It is a nuclear-weapons state and has an active space program.- published: 01 Apr 2014

Something Old, Something New - West Virginia 5.14
Ben Spannuth recently landed in Fayetteville, West Virginia to hone his skills on the bullet hard, New River Gorge sandstone. Ben teams up with local legend, Mike Williams for a tour of the modern testpieces and the two help showcase some of the best hard routes in the country. For Ben, repeating established routes might be the first step to dialing in a new area but he is only satisfied when he can leave his mark by climbing old abandoned projects and bolting new lines of his own. Enjoy, something old, something new, something undone, and something with glue.

Save The Kimberley - Your Help Is Needed
The Kimberley is under threat and we need your help.
I have put together a series of still images and video highlighting the beauty of the Kimberley in far North Western Australia. The Kimberley is a true wilderness region and an iconic part of Australia.
Unfortunately this region is coming under threat of major industrialization through Gas plant, mining, and offshore drilling operations. The current Western Australian government in it's wisdom is poised to compulsorily acquire tracks of land along this coastline, against the wishes of the traditional owners, to set up a gas hub to feed the worlds requirements for gas.
Woodside will spend billions of dollars turning our countries icons into industrial wastelands and threaten the unique ecosystem of the Kimberley.
There are alternatives to a gas plant at James Price Point, one being to pipe the gas to Karratha which already has this operation. Once a precedent has been established the floodgates will open and the Kimberley as we know it will be lost forever.
Help stop this short sighted project in the name of big corporate profits. Lets keeps these areas untouched by mans pollutants.
If you wish to support the campaign to reverse the governments decision to steal this land please sign up to this petition. http://www.getup.org.au/campaign/Homelands&id;=1386

Visit Your Pacific Northwest National Forest Lands
The Pacific Northwest Region 6 of the US Forest Service contains 17 National Forests, a National Scenic Area, a National Grassland, and two National Volcanic Monuments, all within the states of Oregon and Washington. The forests provide timber for people, forage for cattle and wildlife, habitat for fish, plants, and animals, and some of the finest recreation lands in the country.

The Fortune Wild - Trailer

"If a man looks sharply and attentively," wrote Francis Bacon, "he shall see Fortune."
In The Fortune Wild, a new Sitka Films production directed by Ben Gulliver with support from Pacific Wild, a small group of surfers set out to seek their own kind of riches on some of the most remote beaches of the Canadian coast.
Starring Peter Devries and Reid and Arran Jackson, The Fortune Wild follows an expedition to the far-flung shores of Haida Gwaii, a chain of waveswept, lushly forested islands off the British Columbia mainland. Surfing, camping and foraging for food on the area's unspoiled beaches, the three surfers step away from the modern world and into a quieter, more attuned and more self-sufficient existence.
As the days pass, their trip becomes more than a picaresque adventure to paddle out into rarely surfed waves—after being granted permission by Haida elders to visit a hidden area of the Haida homeland, the small crew pitches camp to explore and experience a place where people have lived in partnership with nature for thousands of years. Later, they're joined by fellow surfer Noah Cohen for some final sessions in the area's clear and chilly waters.
"There are a lot of good surf breaks around the world," says Devries, "but it's tough to find a place that compares to the British Columbia coast. The grandeur, the beauty and the culture—it's truly unique and unlike anywhere I've ever been."
The Fortune Wild is about the peace and promise of wild places, but it's also about learning to see the natural world in a more profound and reverent way. Featuring interviews with Severn Cullis-Suzuki, Haida leader and activist Guujaaw and Haida artists Christian White and Gwaliga Hart, it's a glimpse into a system where tradition and respect for the land are values that can't be bought or sold. At a time when economic development and resource extraction and transportation are critical issues for the province and the country, The Fortune Wild is a journey into the heart of what matters most.
One-third documentary, one-third surf and adventure film and one-third storybook wander into the unknown, The Fortune Wild is a beautiful and slightly eccentric look at what makes the West Coast so priceless and so worthy to protect.
Directed and edited by Ben Gulliver
Produced by Rene Gauthier - Sitka Films in association with Pacific Wild
Co-Produced by Gwaliga Hart, Michael Reid, Jeremy Koreski, Greg and Nick Grzybowski
"The film is a homage to Wes Anderson, I always wished he would make a surf film" - Ben Gulliver

Niger
Niger
Niger , officially the Republic of Niger, is a landlocked country in Western Africa, named after the Niger River. It borders Nigeria and Benin to the south, Burkina Faso and Mali to the west, Algeria and Libya to the north and Chad to the east. Niger covers a land area of almost 1,270,000 km2, making it the largest nation in West Africa, with over 80 percent of its land area covered by the Sahara desert. The country's predominantly Islamic population of 17,138,707 is mostly clustered in the far south and west of the nation. The capital city is Niamey, located in the far-southwest corner of Niger.
