Italian President Giorgio Napolitano talks to journalists after he dissolved parliament, clearing the way for early elections only two years after the last parliamentary vote, in Rome's Quirinale palace, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008. The president made the decision after Premier Romano Prodi's center-left government fell late last month and subsequent efforts to form an interim government failed.
