Netherlands Antilles
The Netherlands Antilles, previously known as the Netherlands West Indies or Dutch Antilles/West Indies, consists of two groups of islands that form part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. The islands are Curaçao and Bonaire, which are just off the Venezuelan coast and belong to the Leeward Antilles; and Sint Eustatius, Saba and Sint Maarten, which are located southeast of the Virgin Islands and are part of the Leeward Islands. These Dutch islands form an autonomous part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The islands' economy depends mostly upon tourism, international financial services, international commerce, shipping, and petroleum. The Netherlands Antilles are scheduled to be dissolved as a unified political entity on October 10, 2010, so that the five constituent islands will attain new constitutional statuses within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Aruba
Recorded February 21, 2008. Aruba is a 21 mile-long island of the Lesser Antilles in the southern Caribbean Sea, 17 miles north of the Paraguaná Peninsula, Venezuela. Together with Bonaire and Curaçao it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Leeward Antilles, the southern island chain of the Lesser Antilles. Aruba has a population around 105000 and a land area of 75 square miles. Oranjestad, with a population of 32748 is the capital and most important city of Aruba located on the southern coast near the western end of the island. This video begins as we sail into the harbour on the Crown Princess. After disembarking the ship I take a submarine cruise and visit the hotel area at Palm Beach. I visit the northern most point on the island at the California Lighthouse. I get a nice view of the island from the rock formation Casibari. I also witness the pounding surf on the east coast of the island. The video concludes as I walk around Oranjestad, the capital and largest city on the island. From: timvp.com

Bonaire
Recorded February 20, 2008. The Island Territory of Bonaire is one of five island areas of the Netherlands Antilles, consisting of the main island of Bonaire and, nestled in its western crescent, the uninhabited islet of Klein Bonaire. Together with Aruba and Curaçao it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Leeward Antilles, the southern island chain of the Lesser Antilles. Bonaire has a land area of 111 square miles. Bonaire's population was 14006 inhabitants in 2006. Bonaire is world renowned for its excellent scuba diving and is consistently rated among the best diving and Caribbean diving locations in the world. Bonaire is also famed for its flamingo populations and its donkey sanctuary. Kralendijk is the capital city and main port of the island of Bonaire. The video begins as we sail into Bonaire's harbour on the Crown Princess. After disembarking the ship I visit Gotomeer Lake, Washington Slagbaai National Park and the island's capital city Kralendijk. During the video we see Bonaire wildlife, lizards, flamingos and a donkey. The video concludes as we sail away from the island on the Crown Princess after a beautiful sunset. From: timvp.com

Hotel Marriott Resort in Aruba Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino LG Smith Boulevard 82 · Oranjestad, Aruba (Dec.2005) Web - www.marriott.com Wiki - en.wikipedia.org Map - tinyurl.com Aruba (pronounced /əˈruːbə/ ə-ROO-bə) is a 33km-long island of the Lesser Antilles in the southern Caribbean Sea, located 27km north of the coast of Venezuela. Together with Bonaire and Curaçao, it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Leeward Antilles, the southern island chain of the Lesser Antilles. Aruba, which has no administrative subdivisions, is one of the four constituent countries that form the Kingdom of the Netherlands, together with the Netherlands, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten. Aruban citizens hold Dutch passports. Unlike much of the Caribbean region, Aruba has a dry climate and an arid, cactus-strewn landscape. This climate has helped tourism as visitors to the island can reliably expect warm, sunny weather. It has a land area of 193 square kilometres (75 sq mi) and is densely populated with its estimated 103000 people. It lies outside the hurricane belt.

Caribbean Islands
The Caribbean is a region consisting of the Caribbean Sea, its islands (most of which are enclosed by the sea), and the surrounding coasts. The region is located southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and North America, east of Central America, and to the north of South America. Situated largely on the Caribbean Plate, the region comprises more than 7000 islands, islets, reefs, and cays. These islands, called the West Indies, generally form island arcs that delineate the eastern and northern edges of the Caribbean Sea. These islands are called the West Indies because when Christopher Columbus landed there in 1492 he believed that he had reached the Indies (in Asia). The region consists of the Antilles, divided into the larger Greater Antilles which bound the sea on the north, the Lesser Antilles on the south and east (including the Leeward Antilles), the Bahamas, and the Turks and Caicos Islands or the Lucayan Archipelago, which are in fact in the Atlantic Ocean north of Cuba, not in the Caribbean Sea. Geopolitically, the West Indies are usually regarded as a subregion of North America and are organized into 30 territories including sovereign states, overseas departments, and dependencies. From January 3, 1958, to May 31, 1962, there was a short-lived country called the Federation of the West Indies composed of ten English-speaking Caribbean territories, all of which were then UK dependencies. The West Indies cricket team continues to represent many of those nations. ( source ...

NATIONAL ANTHEM OF Curacao
Curaçao is an island in the southern part of the Caribbean Sea off the north coast of Venezuela. The island is the largest and most populous of the three so-called ABC islands (for Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao) of the Lesser Antilles -- specifically the Leeward Antilles -- and belongs to the Netherlands Antilles, a self-governing part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Curaçao's capital is Willemstad. Curaçao has a land area of 444 square kilometres (171 square miles). At the 2001 Netherlands Antilles census, the population was 130627 inhabitants, which means a population density of 294 inhabitants per square kilometre. In 2004 the population was estimated at 133644 inhabitants. It lies outside the hurricane belt, but can still occasionally be impacted by hurricanes, such as Hurricane Felix.
