Disappear (No Angels song)
"Disappear" is a song recorded by all-female German pop group No Angels, taken from Destiny Reloaded (2008), the reissue of their fourth studio album Destiny (2007). It was written by Norwegian singer-songwriter Hanne Sørvaag along with Danish musicians Remee and Thomas Troelsen, the latter of which also handled production on the track. A mid-paced pop song that is built on a ticking clock sample, the song is influenced by elements of Europop and synthpop. Its instrumentation consists essentially of synthesizers and keyboards. Lyrically, it finds the protagonist thinking deeply over her relationship with her love interest from whom she parted; however, she still pines for him and feels self-conscious for doing so.
A shortened version of the song served as Germany's entry for the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, having earned tight 50.5% of the audience vote over solo singer Carolin Fortenbacher at the national pre-selection show, Grand Prix Vorentscheid, in March 2008. In the final show of the ESC, on 24 May 2008, the song finished 23rd (out of 25) in the final voting, having earned a total of fourteen points only. Released as a single on 29 February 2008 in German-speaking Europe, the song reached number 4 on the German Singles Chart, where it became the band's biggest-selling single since their reformation in fall 2006. "Disappear" also reached the top 30 of the Hungarian Airplay Chart, the top 40 of the Ö3 Austria Top 40 and peaked at number 21 on the composite Eurochart Hot 100 Singles chart.
No Angels
No Angels were an all-female pop band from Germany formed in 2000. The group consisted of band members Nadja Benaissa, Lucy Diakovska, Sandy Mölling, Vanessa Petruo and Jessica Wahls. Originally a quintet, they originated on the international television talent show Popstars and was one of the first television-cast acts to achieve continued success throughout Central Europe in the early 2000s. Following a major success with record-breaking single "Daylight in Your Eyes" and debut album Elle'ments in 2001, a series of hit records established their position as one of the most successful female band vocalists to emerge in the early decade. With four number-one hits, three number-one albums and record sales of more than 5.0 million. they became both the biggest-selling German girlband of all time and the most successful girlband of the 2000s in Continental Europe, winning three ECHOs, a World Music Awards, a NRJ Music Award, two Comets, a Bambi and a Goldene Kamera.
In fall 2003, the members went their separate ways due to lasting exhaustion, focusing on their individual solo careers in music, theatre, television and film. In 2007, it was confirmed that four members of the original line-up had re-formed permanently and were set to record their first studio album in over four years, Destiny (2007). A year after, the group represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, where they finished 23rd in the final voting. After another musical hiatus, the band released a second post-reunion studio album titled Welcome to the Dance in 2009 which failed commercially. In September 2010, Benaissa officially left the band due to private reasons, leaving No Angels as a trio. Contrary to previous statements, further projects failed to materialize and the group has split again since.
No Angel (It's All in Your Mind)
"No Angel (It's All in Your Mind)" is a song recorded by all-female German pop band No Angels. The song was written by Pete Kirtley and Tim Hawes from Jiant along with Liz Winstanley and produced by Perky Park and Nik Hafemann for the band's third studio album Pure (2003). The mid-tempo pop track incorporates minor pop rock and soft rock elements. Lyrically, it deals with picture-perfect illusions in a relationship.
The song was released as the album's lead single along with a cover version of Shocking Blue's "Venus" on April 22, 2003 in German-speaking Europe. It marked the group's first release without fifth band member Jessica Wahls following her break from the band due to maternity. Contemporary music citics gave the song a generally positive reception. Commercially, "No Angel (It's All in Your Mind)" was an instant success: It debuted at number-one on the German Singles Chart, the group's fourth single to do so. It also peaked at number ten in Austria and reached number seven on a composite European Hot 100 Singles chart.
Angels (Within Temptation song)
"Angels" is a song by Dutch band Within Temptation from their third studio album, The Silent Force. It was released as the third single from the album on 13 June 2005, also accompanying a music video. The video earned the band a Golden God Award on the following year.

The video is shot in a desert in Spain. It tells the story of a group of vigilante angels who make it their mission to wipe out evil. Sharon den Adel is a woman who has been seemingly abandoned on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. She accepts a lift from a priest, who takes her back to his home. The priest is in fact a demonic serial killer, who adopts different disguises to get to his victims. All of these disguises are trustworthy people, like a doctor, a police officer, a clown, judge, or a priest. As Sharon stumbles upon a board full of newspaper clippings in the killers home, which are about his previous victims, he seemingly overpowers her with chloroform. He takes a tied up Sharon to the middle of the desert to bury her alive. However, Sharon immediately awakens as the other angels approach (the other band members) and is revealed to also be one of the angels, who was left at the side of the road as bait for the serial killer, during which time the rest of the vigilantes appear and the killer is confronted with the spirits of his victims, who destroy him. The vigilantes then move onto their next target.
Angels (Marvel Comics)
An angel is a fictional entity within the Marvel Comics universe, based on the angels of the Abrahamic faiths. Their first Marvel Comics appearance was Marvel Tales #133. In the religious text of Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Zoroastriansim, angels are believed to be guardians of mankind and messengers of God; indeed, "angels" originates from the Greek word for messenger. In Hebrew they are mal'ach, (again messenger), Abbir (mighty) or Elohim (Godly beings).
Powers and abilities
The abilities and physical features of angels are widely varied and many seem able to alter their appearance at will, but most favor beautiful humanoid forms with large, birdlike wings growing from their backs. They are immortal and do not age. Most angels seem to have varying degrees of superhuman strength, and they often can fire bolts of heavenly fire from their hands or summon burning swords at will. They can make themselves invisible to humans, although rare sensitives may still see them. Many angels can generate illusions and compel humans to obey their will, and some can resurrect the dead by sharing their own divine essence with the deceased. When slain, the Grigori angels spontaneously combusted; whether other angels would likewise is uncertain.
Angels (2014 film)
Angels is a 2014 Indian Malayalam social thriller film and the directorial debut of Jean Markose. The film stars an ensemble cast consisting of Indrajith, Asha Sarath, Joy Mathew, Prem Prakash, Parvathy Menon, Baiju and Dinesh Panicker. Story and screenplay were written by Jean Markose and Toni Tomy, dialogues were co-written by Shabu Kilithatil. It is a rip-off from the South Korean film Confession of Murder (2012). This film is a Moderated Success and Hit.
Production
Filming took place at Chitranjali Studios in Thiruvananthapuram. The film is Produced by Linu Issac, Hisham Basheer, Saju Azad, Maya Kartha under the banner of Cloud 4 Cinemas. Music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with Sujith Sarang as cinematographer and Sreejith Sarang as editor. Principal filming completed on 5 June 2014. During filming, there was a shoot day when director Jean Markose was incapacitated due to a high fever, and Indrajith stepped in to temporarily direct a hospital scene featuring Tara Kalyan. Film producer Linu Issac stated "Indran (Indrajith) rocked it."
