Before time running 12385 Howrah (HWH)- Dhanbad (DHN) A.C. Double Decker Express headed by 30203 WAP- 7 of HWH shed (ex.GMO) cruises through the Up Fast Line of the 126 kms Shaktigarh- Sitarampur quadruple line section of ER at 108 km/hr (confirmed by the Digital display board), and in the process is greeted by 1 hour late running 12332 Jammu Tawi (JAT)- Howrah (HWH) Tri-Weekly HIMGIRI Superfast Express headed by a honking SGUJ shed WDP-4 LHF, which was blasting through the Down Fast line. Location is between Mankar and Panagarh.

The participant of the event ware mostly from the village school of Kanksa and Panagarh Bazar with residents of near villages around Kanksa and Panagarh from different walk of life. The Event coordinated by AOL Teacher Mrs. Mukti Das, Volunteer: Joydeb Debnath, Samit Ghosh, Aniruddha Das, Amitabha Das, Prioma sarkar, Swati Sarkar, Sabita dee, Mondal Kaku, Sandeep Aggarwal, Kedar jee, and many others in presence senior of AOL teacher from Durgapur Mr. Varinder Singh Sahota.
The event get applauded from all the participants schools and request the AOL family Panagarh to organize such event on regular basis and also confirm to extend their hand to make such event successful. A most interesting fact is that the most of the kids participated in this event of SURYA NAMASKAR completed 108 rounds, a big applause for them.

Panagarh (Bengali: পানাগড়) is a small town in India, located in Kanksa police station of Durgapur subdivision in Bardhaman District of West Bengal. Both the Indian Army and Air Force have their establishment here. An airport is also located here which is extensively used by Indian Air Force.

Geography[link]
Panagarh is located at 23°27′N 87°26′E / 23.45°N 87.43°E / 23.45; 87.43[1]. It has an average elevation of 58 m (190 ft).
The Asansol-Durgapur region is composed of undulating laterite soil. This area lies between two rivers – the Damodar and the Ajay. They flow almost parallel to each other in the region – the average distance between the two rivers is around 30 km. For ages the area was heavily forested and infested with plunderers and marauders. The discovery of coal led to industrialisation of the area and most of the forests have been cleared. It is connected by both roads and railways with Kolkata, the state's capital, located approximately 150 km in south east direction.
NH 2/Grand Trunk Road passes through Panagarh. The Panagarh–Morgram Highway links it to NH 34.
Randiha is a nearby picnic spot.

Panagarh has a large military army base of Eastern command.Its vehicle depot and ammunition depot is largest military supplier in the country. It has air base of Eastern Air Command.

Panagarh has five primary schools, Rama Krishna Ashrama Vidyapitha, The kendriya vidyalaya ,secondary school (Panagarh Railway Colony School) and two higher secondary schools (Panagarh Bazar Hindi High School and Kanksha High School)[3].
Professional Education in Durgapur :-
Panagarh has 2 engineering colleges viz. Aryabhatta Institute Of Engineering and Management ( Popularly known as Aryabhatta engineering college , Durgapur or AIEMD [4]) & Kanksa Academy Of Technology & Management ( KATM-techno india ). Other nearby engineering colleges are Durgapur Institute Of Advanced Technology & Management , at Rajbandh. & Kanad Institute Of Engineering & Management at Mankar . The engineering colleges are affiliated to West Bengal University Of Technology , Kolkata.
It is also having kendriya Vidyala higher secondary coed school. There are colleges and schools near Rajbandh, all under Rahul Foundation.
