Sean O'Pry (born July 5, 1989) is an American male model from Kennesaw, Georgia.

In 2006, 17-year-old O'Pry was scouted from his prom photos on MySpace by Nolé Marin; fashion-icon, model-maker, TV personality and past judge from America's Next Top Model.^[2] Bert Hamilton, a photographer from Sean's home state of Georgia, took the picture featured on this article before his career took off.

Since then, O'Pry has been featured in numerous advertising campaigns and editorials for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferré, H&M, Marc Jacobs, Emporio Armani, Lacoste, Dsquared², American Eagle, Bottega Veneta, DKNY, Fendi, GQ, Dazed & Confused, V, Details, Barneys, Uniqlo, Bloomingdale's, Belstaff, D2, Arena, Diesel, Gap, JOOP! and Numéro Homme. He is currently the face of Bottega Veneta and Zara.

He was the face of Calvin Klein for several seasons and is best known for being GQ's Man of the Season in 2007.

Derek Johnson (5 January 1933 – 30 August 2004) was a British athlete, who was born in Chigwell, Essex. He did his National Service in Egypt before going up to Lincoln College, Oxford to read medicine in 1953. Whilst at Oxford, he pursued an athletics career and, in the 1954 Empire Games won gold medals both in the 800 m and the 4x400 m relay.

Johnson went on to win a silver medal in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, in the 800 metres. A leading light in the setting up of the "athletes' union", the International Athletes' Club, he led opposition to Margaret Thatcher's call for sportsmen to boycott the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

In the 1980s, Derek was a member of the Serpentine Running Club and ran several London Marathons. A great ally of David Bedford and a leading administrator in athletics.

David Sims (born October 26, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a former professional American football player who played running back for three seasons for the Seattle Seahawks. He led the National Football League in touchdowns in 1978 with 15, but suffered a career-ended injury early the next season. He played college football for Georgia Tech and was elected to the Georgia Tech Hall of Fame in 1985.^[1]

Toni Garrn (born July 7, 1992)^[3] is a German model. In 2008, she got her big break in the fashion industry after signing an exclusive contract with Calvin Klein.^[4][2]

Early life[link]

Toni Garrn was born Antonia Garrn in Hamburg, Germany. Her father works for an oil refinery and her mother is a qualified businesswoman.^[2] She has an older brother, Niklas, who is also a model. When Garrn was two years old, she moved with her family to London, and later to Athens when she was six. By the age of 10, she moved back to Hamburg with her family.^[2]

When Garrn was 13^[2], she was discovered by Claudia Midolo, the owner of German model agency Modelwerk during the FIFA World Cup 2006 in her hometown Hamburg, and then signed with New York agency Women Management.^[5][4]

Garrn debuted on the runway at age 15 as an exclusive for the Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2008 runway show in New York. She then went on to be featured in the designer's ad campaign. The following season, she again walked exclusively for Calvin Klein.^[1]. In the 2009-seasons, she walked over 60 shows for prestigious designers such as Dior, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors and others during fashion week.^[1]

She has appeared in Vogue (Paris, Italy, Germany, Russia, China, Spain), Muse, Elle (US, Italy, France), Numéro (France, Tokyo), Glamour (US), Marie-Claire (Italy), Another Magazine, Harper's Bazaar (US), i-D, and on the covers of Tush magazine and V magazine as the eighth ranked model of spring 2008. In Fall 2011, Garrn started modeling for Victoria's Secret, firstly appearing in their catalogs doing the clothing line. Soon after she walked in the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and did a photo-shoot for the PINK-line with fellow model Shanina Shaik.

In April 2012, Garrn was reported wrongly by the media to have been chosen to become an official Victoria's Secret Angel.^[7][8] The reports were all based on a misleading tweet by the official Victoria's Secret Twitter-account which mentioned Garrn as "#NewAngel".^[9] Soon after it was revealed that Garrn was merely chosen to star in a Victoria's Secret campaign for the "Dream Angel"-line alongside Erin Heatherton and Lindsay Ellingson as well as the "Angels in love"-commercial starring Elyse Taylor in addition.^[10]

Private life[link]

Garrn lives in an apartment in Financial District, Manhattan in New York City with her best friend Ali Stephens. She is also friends with fellow models Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, Sigrid Agren and Taryn Davidson.^[4]

She skipped fashion week in February 2010 in order to focus on the final exams of the Abitur.^[4]

He will feature in the 2012 music video of Madonna's new song, Girl Gone Wild, as directed by fashion photographers Mert & Marcus.
