  Colorado
  Colorado (ⁱ/kɒləˈrædoʊ/ or /kɒləˈrɒdoʊ/) is the US state that encompasses most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is part of the Western United States, the Southwestern United States, and the Mountain States. Colorado is the 8th most extensive and the 22nd most populous of the 50 United States. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the population of Colorado was 5,116,796 on July 1, 2011, an increase of +1.74% since the 2010 United States Census.
  The state was named for the Colorado River, which early Spanish explorers named the Río Colorado for the red colored (Spanish: colorado) silt the river carried from the mountains. On August 1, 1876, U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant signed a proclamation admitting Colorado as the 38th state. Colorado is nicknamed the "Centennial State" because it was admitted to the Union in 1876, the centennial year of the United States Declaration of Independence.

• Ariana Richards
  Ariana Clarice Richards (born September 11, 1979) is an American actress and professional painter. She is best known for her roles as Mindy Sterngood in Tremors, Lex Murphy in the film Jurassic Park, and as Carol Wetherby in the film Prancer.
  Richards was born in Healdsburg, California, the daughter of Darielle (née Parmelee), a public relations representative and film producer, and Gary Richards. Her sister, Bethany, is also an actress. Richards is of Irish and Italian descent, and is a descendant of Renaissance painter Carlo Crivelli and Irish boxer John L. Sullivan.
  Richards graduated from Skidmore College, earning a degree in Fine Art and Drama, with distinction. She continued with instruction at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and also attended Western Oregon University.
  Richards made her acting debut in 1987's Into the Homeland, a made-for-cable release that starred Powers Boothe. Her most notable appearance was as Lex Murphy in the first Jurassic Park film; she reprised the role very briefly in the sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Similarly, she appeared as Mindy Sterngood in the first Tremors film and reprised her role in the second sequel Tremors 3: Back to Perfection, which went straight to video. She has been featured in other films such as Angus, where she played a high school cheerleader; she also appeared on television episodes of The Golden Girls, Empty Nest and Boy Meets World.

  Barnard Hughes
  Bernard Aloysius Kiernan "Barnard" Hughes (July 16, 1915 – July 11, 2006) was an American actor of theater and film. Hughes became famous for a variety of roles; his most-notable roles came after middle age, and he was often cast as a dithering authority figure or grandfatherly elder.
  Hughes was born in Bedford Hills, New York, the son of Irish immigrants Madge (née Kiernan) and Owen Hughes. He attended La Salle Academy and Manhattan College in New York City. Hughes was married to actress Helen Stenborg. They married on April 19, 1950, and remained married until his death. Hughes was five days shy of his ninety-first birthday when he died. The Hugheses had two children, Tony Award-winning theatre director Doug and daughter Laura.
  Hughes changed the "e" in his first name to an "a" to help his acting career on the advice of a numerologist. Through high school and college, Hughes worked a series of odd jobs, including a stint as a dockworker and as a salesman at Macy's. He auditioned for the Shakespeare Fellowship Repertory company in New York City on the advice of a friend, and ended up joining the company for two years.

  Harry Morgan
  Harry Morgan (born Harry Bratsberg, often spelled Harry Bratsburg; April 10, 1915 – December 7, 2011) was an American actor. He was widely known for his roles as Pete Porter in both December Bride (1954–1959) and Pete and Gladys (1960–1962); Officer Bill Gannon on Dragnet (1967–1970); Amos Coogan on Hec Ramsey (1972–1974); and Colonel Sherman T. Potter in M*A*S*H (1975–1983) and AfterMASH (1983–1984). Additionally, Morgan appeared in more than 100 films.
  Morgan was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Hannah and Henry Bratsberg, who were of Swedish and Norwegian heritage. Morgan's Norwegian family surname was Bratsberg, as he spelled it in his interview with the Archive of American Television. However, many sources, including some family records, list the spelling as "Bratsburg." According to one source, when Morgan's father Henry registered at junior high school, "the registrar spelled it Bratsburg instead of Bratsberg. Bashful Henry did not demur."
  Morgan was raised in Muskegon, Michigan, and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1933, where he achieved distinction as a statewide debating champion. He originally aspired to a law degree, but began acting while a junior at the University of Chicago in 1935.

• Helen Stenborg
  Helen Joan Stenborg (January 24, 1925 – March 22, 2011) was an American actress of stage, screen, and television. She occasionally acted with her husband, actor Barnard Hughes (1915–2006), to whom she was married from 1950 until his death in 2006; they had two children.
  Stenborg appeared on stage in revivals of A Doll's House, A Month in the Country, and The Crucible; the original, belated US production of Noël Coward's Waiting in the Wings, in which her husband had a notable role; and the Lanford Wilson plays, The Rimers of Eldritch and Talley & Son winning the Obie Award for her performance in the latter.
  She portrayed Helga Lindeman on the soap opera Another World from 1977 to 1978.
  She died on March 22, 2011, aged 86, in New York City from undisclosed causes. She was survived by her two children and a grandson.

  Joseph Sargent (born July 22, 1925) is an American film director. He has directed many television movies, but his best known feature film works are probably White Lightning, MacArthur, Nightmares and Jaws: The Revenge, with his most popular film being The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. He has won four Emmy Awards. He is the father of anime dubbing voice actress Lia Sargent.
  Sargent was born Giuseppe Danielle Sorgente in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of Maria (née Noviello) and Domenico Sorgente. Sargent began his career as an actor. He switched to directing in the mid 1950s, with directing credits including episodes of the television series Lassie, The Invaders, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and Star Trek.
  In 1969, he directed his first feature, Colossus: The Forbin Project, and in 1972 the controversial political drama The Man, starring James Earl Jones.
  In 1969, he won his first Directors Guild of America Award for The Marcus-Nelson Murders, which spawned the long running TV series Kojak.

  Laurence Rosenthal (born November 4, 1926) is an American composer, arranger, and conductor for theater, television, and film.
  Born in Detroit, Michigan, Rosenthal attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where he studied piano and composition. He then studied in Paris with Nadia Boulanger.
  Among his best-known film scores are A Raisin in the Sun, The Miracle Worker, Becket, The Island of Dr. Moreau, Clash of the Titans, The Return of a Man Called Horse, and Peter Brook's Meetings with Remarkable Men.
  Rosenthal's Broadway credits include The Music Man and Donnybrook! as an arranger and Sherry!, A Patriot for Me, Take Me Along (dance music only), and Dylan as a composer.
  Rosenthal has also been nominated for two Oscars and two Golden Globes. He has won six Emmy Awards and been nominated for an additional six more.

  Michael Alden Norell (October 4, 1937 Wallace, Idaho) is an American screenwriter/actor, and Executive Producer that starred as Captain Henry "Hank" Stanley in the Jack Webb produced television series Emergency! from 1973 to 1978.
  Norell was born in Wallace, Idaho. His family moved to follow his father who was in the Army, and who ultimately retired with the rank of Brigadier General. His father was sent to Korea during the war. The family lived in Tokyo, Japan. He returned to the States after the war, and attended Falls Church High School in Virginia, where he acted in several school plays. He attended college at Washington and Lee University, where he majored in Journalism.
  After graduating college, he entered the Army, where he spent the next five years, leaving with the rank of Captain. After his stint in the Army, he went to work for the Richmond Times-Dispatch in Richmond, Virginia.
  He went to New York City not too long after returning to civilian life, and worked at acting full-time. Six months later, he arrived in Hollywood.

  Norbert Weisser (born July 9, 1946) is a German-born American film and theatre actor, probably most known for his many roles in Albert Pyun-directed films (15 and counting).
  Weisser is a founding member of the Odyssey Theater and the Padua Hills Playwrights Festival, where he developed the role of Trickster in Murray Mednick's epic seven-hour The Coyote Cycle. He has played roles in theaters throughout Europe and the US, including Broadway, where he played Rode opposite Ed Harris in Ronald Harwood's Taking Sides at the Brooks Atkinson Theater. Most recently he played Oskar in John O'Keefe's Times Like These in San Francisco, Albany, New York and Los Angeles, where he received an Ovation Award, an LA Weekly Theater Award and an LA Drama Critics Circle nomination for his performance.
  Weisser has directed plays at the Magic Theater in San Francisco and at the Mark Taper Forum's New Playwrights Festival in Los Angeles.
  Recently he produced two Albert Pyun films, Infection and Cool Air. He is the father of fellow actor Morgan Weisser, who starred in both movies.

  Peter Firth
  Peter Firth (born 27 October 1953) is an English actor. He is best known for his role as Sir Harry Pearce in the BBC show Spooks, of which he is the only actor to have starred in every episode of the show's 10 series lifespan. He is also known for playing a variety of starring roles in film and on television from the 1970s to the 2000s.
  Firth was a leading child actor by mid-1970, starring in The Flaxton Boys as Archie Weekes and the Here Come the Double Deckers series, which featured child actors in the leading roles. Firth played Scooper, the leader of the gang.
  In July 1973, he appeared at Laurence Olivier's National Theatre, starring in the stage version of Peter Shaffer's play Equus, playing a teenager being treated by a psychiatrist, and in October 1974 repeated the role in the Broadway production, receiving a Tony Award nomination for his performance as Alan Strang.
  His first major role as an adult was in the title role in a 1976 BBC Television Play of the Month adaptation of Oscar Wilde's novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. The adaptation was based on a stage adaptation by John Osborne and also starred Jeremy Brett and John Gielgud. That same year saw the release of the World War I film Aces High which featured Firth as the inexperienced RFC pilot Lt. Stephen Croft.

  Robert Carradine
  Robert Reed Carradine (born March 24, 1954) is an American actor. The youngest of the Carradine family of actors, he made his first appearances on television western series such as Bonanza and his older brother David's Kung Fu. Carradine's first film role was in the 1972 film The Cowboys opposite Roscoe Lee Browne and John Wayne. He is the brother of Christopher and Keith Carradine, paternal half-brother of Bruce and David Carradine, and maternal half-brother of Michael Bowen.   Susan Blakely
  Susan Blakely (born September 7, 1948) is a Golden Globe-winning German-born American film actress for her leading role in Universal and ABC Television's ground-breaking mini-series, Rich Man, Poor Man, which aired in 1976. She was a highly successful commercial model before becoming a full-time actress which she continues to this day.
  Blakely was born in Frankfurt, Germany. She is the daughter of Weezie, a former art teacher, and Colonel Larry Blakely, a career Army officer. Her first career break came while she was living in El Paso, Texas, where her father was stationed at Fort Bliss. Around 1967, a photograph of Blakely posed poolside in a black and white "op art" swimsuit was used by a local TV station, KELP-TV (now KVIA-TV), on its ID slide that ran during breaks between shows. Her blond "California girl" good looks were exactly what was in demand at the time, and she was easily able to secure sponsorship for a national modeling competition, which she won. The prize was a year's contract with the Ford Modeling Agency in New York. Her first appearance on a cover was for a hairstyle magazine.

  Walter Matthau
  Walter Matthau (October 1, 1920 – July 1, 2000) was an American actor best known for his role as Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple and his frequent collaborations with Odd Couple star Jack Lemmon, as well as his role as Coach Buttermaker in the 1976 comedy The Bad News Bears. He won an Academy Award for his performance in the 1966 Billy Wilder film The Fortune Cookie.
  Matthau was born Walter John Matthow in New York City's Lower East Side on October 1, 1920, the son of Rose (née Berolsky; from Lithuania), who worked in a sweatshop, and Milton Matthow, an electrician and peddler (from Russia), both Jewish immigrants. His surname has often incorrectly been listed as Matuschanskayasky (see below for a detailed discussion). As a young boy, Walter attended a Jewish non-profit sleepaway camp, Tranquillity Camp, where he first began acting in the shows the camp would stage on Saturday nights. He also attended Surprise Lake Camp. His high school was Seward Park High School.
  During World War II, Matthau served in the U.S. Army Air Forces with the Eighth Air Force in England as a B-24 Liberator radioman-gunner, in the same 453rd Bombardment Group as James Stewart. He reached the rank of staff sergeant and became interested in acting. He took classes in acting at the Dramatic Workshop of The New School in New York with the influential German director Erwin Piscator. He often joked that his best early review came in a play where he posed as a derelict. One reviewer said, "The others just looked like actors in make-up, Walter Matthau really looks like a skid row bum!" Matthau was a respected stage actor for years in such fare as Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? and A Shot in the Dark. He won the 1962 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a play.

  William Joseph Schallert (born July 6, 1922) is an American actor who has appeared in many films and in such television series as The Smurfs, The Rat Patrol, Gunsmoke, Star Trek, The Patty Duke Show, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, The Waltons, Bonanza, Leave It to Beaver, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Love, American Style, Get Smart and Lawman.
  Schallert was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Elza Emily (née Baumgarten) and Edwin Francis Schallert, a drama editor. Schallert has appeared in supporting roles on numerous television programs since the early 1950s. He has also appeared in several movies, including The Man from Planet X (1951) with Robert Clarke, The Tarnished Angels (1958) with Robert Stack, Blue Denim (1959) with Brandon deWilde, In the Heat of the Night (1967) with Rod Steiger, Speedway (1968) with Elvis Presley, The Jerk (1979) with Steve Martin, Teachers (1984) with Nick Nolte, and Innerspace (1987), in which he played Martin Short's doctor. He also played (uncredited) an ambulance attendant in the early minutes of the 1950s sci-fi classic, Them! (1954). He appeared three times as Major Karl Richmond on NBC's Steve Canyon, starring Dean Fredericks in the title role. He is a founding member of the Circle Players at The Circle Theatre, started in 1946, now known as El Centro Theatre.
