It just takes one muscle to dance - your heart. 100+ members of the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) happen to all be at Universal Studios Hollywood in February (2010)! A flash mob to raise awareness for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) broke out and featured MDA National Goodwill Ambassador Abbey Umali. The flash mob ended with the group chanting Make a Muscle, Make a Difference for MDA, the Associations new campaign theme. Si se puede comparar un coche con un animal, sin duda es este y sería precisamente con el nombre con el que ha sido bautizado: araña.
Capaz de subir por las paredes, de cruzar agujeros más grandes que él, de retorcerse sin perder suelo, de moverse con agilidad y con seguridad, de desafiar las leyes de la gravedad
El aspecto exterior es impresionante con una anchura superior a 2,25mts proporciona la estabilidad necesaria para mantener en estado horizontal una altura libre al suelo de medio metro que unido a unos ángulos de ataque inmejorables una mecánica acorde con su función y unos neumáticos especializados hacen de este arácnido una máquina imparable sea cual sea el terreno donde se mueve.
No vamos a entrar en detalles técnicos, porque para eso se puede visitar la página Web www.mda4x4.com donde explica sus características, sino que hablaremos de sensaciones.
La primera vez cuando lo ves en vivo y en directo la primera frase que te viene a la mente es vaya artefacto!!! (En el buen sentido de la palabra), cuando de pone en marcha el sonido de su motor hipnotiza y cuando acelera estremece, ya metido en harina, cuando empieza a retorcerse, causa preocupación, porque piensas que se va a desmontar como si de un juguete construido por piezas sueltas se tratase, nada más lejos de la realidad, cuando lo ves evolucionar causa admiración, y si tienes la suerte de montar te da seguridad, impresiona mucho más desde afuera que desde dentro.
Si metemos en una coctelera gigante unas dosis de diseño con varias partes de tecnología y un piloto experto, nos saldría un cóctel al que llamaríamos eficacia. Esto que a priori es muy bueno, para el que va de paquete no lo es tanto, porque un vehículo tan eficaz en manos de un piloto suave, elegante y seguro como Fran, hace que la vuelta y los obstáculos sepan a muy poco.
Su eje trasero direccional, accionado por medio de un jostick, consigue colocar el coche y meterlo por donde parece impensable que pudiera caber, la movilidad es digna de admiración y resulta impensable que un vehículo de estas características pueda circular a altas velocidades como este lo hace.En fin, un cúmulo de sensaciones que sólo se pueden experimentar si tienes la suerte de poder convivir con la Araña y con el equipo que la acompaña.

Denver dance troupe and "America's Got Talent" runners up The Silhouettes pay tribute to fire fighter Shaun Probert, a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), MDA's biggest national sponsor on MDA SHOW of STRENGTH. Shaun participated in IAFF's "Fill the Boot" fundraiser for MDA for many years, never expecting he would need that support until he was diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS is one of more than 40 neuromuscular diseases covered by MDA.
