CRG Kalifornia Go Kart, West Bend 820 Engine Top End Run
(6/31/11 UPDATE: 68.9mph at 12220 rpms 12 - 68 gearing.) A few of you have asked how fast this kart will go so I put the tallest gear I had on it, strapped my GPS to the steering wheel and took it for a top end blast. The kart drove like a Cadillac and topped out at 67.2 mph at 11915 rpms. That's probably 500 rpms over the horsepower peak so it might go a little faster with a little more gear. Check back and see if I get it to break the 70 mph mark.

CRG Kalifornia West Bend 820 Drift Innovation X170 Action Camera
First try using my Drift Innovation X170 Helmet Camera. It was 36 degrees out side and the lighting wasn't the best. I'll do better next time. This camera has much better video (720 x 480) and sound than my Oregon Scientific ATC3K Camera. The mic is set on high which may be too sensitive. The wide angle lens can be rotated 360 degrees so you can mount the body of the camera at just about any angle. There is a 1.5" color LCD screen built into the camera so you can check the positioning and view play back (very handy). The wrist Record/Stop remote is a great feature. Mounting clips and belts are supplied and a bit on the cheep side. Hope you enjoy the video.

CRG Kalifornia Kart Powered by a West Bend 820
This is our 1999 CRG Kalifornia Kart that I've upgraded with disc brakes on the front and built a new West Bend 820 to power it. The parking lot where we're running it is fairly good size, a bit dirty and has patches of sand (which is why I went off roading, that's my story and I'm sticking to it ;-) It's geared to turn 9000+ rpms before you have to brake entering a corner. 9000 rpms is about 50 mph. At the apex of the corner your turning 5500 and exiting the corner your at 6500, right where the engine comes on the pipe. The front brakes are a really fun addition, you can set the bias on them and brake hard enough that the inside rear tire comes off the ground entering the turn.

CRG Kalifornia Racing Go Kart with US 820 Running Expansion Chamber
This is our CRG kart with a US820 two stroke on it. We got it and I had to rebuild the engine because the pistion pin bore was oversized. The pistion I put in it was one that was given to us when be got the blue Dart Kart you see in my other videos. That piston came out of an West Bend Power Bee 820 that was raced back in the 1960's. The original gearing was 12/77 and the guy that had it said he'd seen it pull 12000 rpm which is 61 mph. Because our "track" is flat and on the small side, I changed the gearing to 12/88 which will give us 53 mph and quicker acceleration.

Update from Key International Carrier Hotels (1 of 5)
Carrier hotels provide a secure location for the interconnection of telecom networks. Traditional carriers, wireless providers, cable/ MSOs, content providers and enterprises rely on these facilities to expand the scope of their networks through interconnection. Carrier hotel value is directly derived from the occupants and the location relative to key demand points. Part 1 of 5. Key discussion points include: * How is the role of the carrier hotel changing with facilitation of enhanced services within its facilities? * How is the proliferation web enabled content changing demand for carrier hotel space? * As carrier hotels within major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and London fill up, what are carrier hotel providers doing to satisfy growing demand in a world of limited capacity? Kattenmand Dierenambulance/Dierenbescherming West-Alblasserwaard crg
