Mystery Jets - Lorna Doone
There is blood on your hands but I can't bear to see how it hangs Like a millstone round your neck Slowly dragging you down What is worth fighting for? If not the only one that I adore Sometimes I hear you calling out in the night But it only makes it hurt more And I wish I could say I believe this is goodbye But I don't, no I don't If you think running away from how you feel inside will make it easier Well it won't, no it won't Lorna Doone Lorna Doone I hear the bell in the tower And though the song it sings is not ours The notes they dance upon the wind I know they'll reach you somehow Come here and lie by my side Let me wipe those tears from your eyes Though it might be for the last time I know a love like ours will never die And I wish I could stay I believe this is goodbye But I don't, no I don't If you think running away from how you feel inside will make it easier Well it won't, no it won't Lorna Doone Lorna Doone Lorna Doone Lorna Doone *This is purely fan made; All rights belong to Mystery Jets and Rough Trade*

A fan video of the A&E television production based on RD Blackmore's classic 19th century novel. Set during the Monmouth rebellion years, young John Ridd watches in horror as his father is killed by members of the notorious Doone clan, a once aristocratic family turned outlaw. He also is saved from drowning by a little girl named Lorna, whom he later discovers as they meet again as nearly adults (played by Richard Coyle and Amelia Warner) that she is a Doone, betrothed to her evil cousin, Carver (Aidan Gillen), who is named the successor of the family when old Sir Ensor Doone, the man Lorna believes to be her grandfather, dies. Carver is as determined as ever to make Lorna his own, despite her obvious dislike and disgust she shows toward him. John and Lorna fall in love, but his family is opposed to this as much as hers is. Robert Addie in "Lorna Doone"
Robert had a tiny role playing King James II (seen only for a few seconds). This could cause some major anger/frustration if the sequence itself wasn't so beautiful ... One the last roles Robert had before his death.

Lorna Doone--Haunted
It isn't exactly how I wanted it, but YouTube isn't nice sometimes. This is also my first music video, I am excited about it, but I DO know that it isn't the best. :) Please rate and comment! This video is about how Lorna wants to escape the ever watchful eye of Carver. The greyscale is of course Carver remembering Lorna....the video and song pretty much sum up what is happening. Basically I hope you all enjoy because, though the problems I had with uploading, I loved making it. Music: Haunted by Evanescence -------------- **DISCLAIMER** I do NOT own the song or the clips. They belong to their brilliant respective creators.

The Lorna Doone
For those that aren't into artsy fartsy short films, the "digitally recovered" straight from the camera shots can be viewed from 1:40 onwards. The Lorna Doone GWR locomotive showcase. Ron Fryer's engine and stock, mostly modified to run without any problems on a layout, as the engine from Hornby only uses 2 wheels to drive and tends to slip with any sort of load. The music is from the Charlin Chaplin film "Modern Times".
