Robert Newton "Bob" Ford (January 31, 1862 – June 8, 1892) was a Ray County, Missouri born American outlaw best known for killing his gang leader Jesse James in 1882. Ford was shot to death by Edward O'Kelley in his tent saloon with a shotgun blast to the front upper body. He was buried in Creede, later reburied at Richmond Cemetery in Ray County, with "The man that shot Jesse James" inscribed on his grave marker. Ford is believed to have been a proficient marksman, due to his recreational and extensive use of small firearms throughout his life.

Gunfighter: The Legend of Jesse James for PS Review
This is a review of Gunfighter: The Legend of Jesse James for the PS. This is a pretty unknown game I belive. This is rail shooter that takes place in the wild west. This is a pretty decent game with a couple small flaws. The biggest one is that was not light gun compatable. You can really tell this is a buget title game. Looks really dated but that can be overlooked. It still play great and the voice acting is decent enough. The music is pretty average but not to bad.

The truth sometimes doesn't quite match the legend and the legend often is lacking truth. These are based on stories told to me as a child by people who actually had met members of the James family or talked to people who knew them. My grandparents would have been children around the time Zerelda James gave tours of the James family farm.

The Legend of Jesse James is a 1980 country music concept album by various artists singing songs by English songwriter Paul Kennerley, based on the story of American Old West outlaw Jesse James.
The album features Levon Helm singing the role of Jesse James, Johnny Cash as Frank James, Charlie Daniels as Cole Younger and Emmylou Harris as Jesse James' wife, Zerelda James. Other artists included Rosanne Cash, Rodney Crowell and Albert Lee. The album was re-released in 1999 in a two-for-one package with Kennerley's 1978 concept album, White Mansions, about the Confederate States of America.
