New York City

Adam LeFevre (born August 11, 1950) is an American character actor, poet and playwright who works in cinema, television, theater and commercials.
LeFevre was born in Albany, New York, the son of Helen (née Rhodes), a hospital patient representative, and Ira Deyo LeFevre, a physician. He holds graduate degrees from both the Iowa Playwrights Workshop and the Iowa Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa.

Emmanuelle Grey "Emmy" Rossum (born September 12, 1986) is an American actress and singer-songwriter.
She first starred in a string of movies including Songcatcher (2000), An American Rhapsody, (2001) and Passionada (2002). However, it was her role in Mystic River (2003) that garnered her wider recognition. She then starred in the blockbuster film The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and received critical acclaim for her performance in The Phantom of the Opera (2004). Rossum was born in New York, New York, the only child of Cheryl, a single mother who worked as a corporate photographer and an investment banker. She was named after her grandfather, whose first name was Emanuel, using the feminine spelling Emmanuelle. She is the niece of Vera Wang, to whom she is related by marriage. Her mother is Jewish and her father is Protestant. Rossum's parents divorced before she was born and she only met her father twice while growing up.

James Badge Dale
James Badge Dale (born May 1, 1978) is an American actor who starred in the AMC drama series Rubicon. He is best known for his role of Chase Edmunds in the third season of 24 and Robert Leckie in the HBO miniseries The Pacific.
Dale was born James Badgett Dale in New York City, the son and only child of actor/dancer/choreographer Grover Dale (born 1935) and the late actress Anita Morris (1943–1994). At 10, he was picked out of his 5th grade class at Wonderland Elementary School in Laurel Canyon to test for the role of "Simon" in a remake of Lord Of The Flies. After five months on location in Jamaica, he returned to his schooling at Wonderland Elementary. He is an alumnus of Manhattanville College where he played for the hockey team until he suffered a leg injury.^{[citation needed]}
His most notable works to date are in the 1990 film adaptation of Lord of the Flies (in which he played the part of Simon) and the role of Chase Edmunds in the third season of the Fox TV series 24. He later reprised the role of Chase in the video game of the same title.

Mary McDonnell
Mary Eileen McDonnell (born April 28, 1952) is an American film, stage, and television actress. She received Academy Award nominations for her roles as Stands With A Fist in Dances with Wolves and Mary-Alice Culhane in Passion Fish, she is also well known for her performance as President Laura Roslin in Battlestar Galactica, the President's wife in Independence Day, and for her starring role in Donnie Darko as the title character's mother.

McDonnell is married to Randle Mell, who is also an actor. They have two children, Olivia and Michael. In a question and answer session for SyFy regarding her role as Laura Roslin, she was asked if any of her character's political views caused her any discomfort because of her own views. She stated that several of the things her character did in Season Three of Battlestar Galactica "[ran] deeply against being a liberal progressive" and that portraying those views sometimes caused her "a bit of angst in having to commit to them."

Piper Lisa Perabo (born October 31, 1976) is an American stage, film and television actress.
Perabo was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, the daughter of Mary Charlotte (née Ulland), a physical therapist, and George William Perabo, a professor of poetry at Ocean County College. The film was released under its original title in Europe. In 2003, she had a role as the eldest Baker child, Nora, in Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), a role she reprised in the film's 2005 sequel.

Bauer was born Esteban Ernesto Echevarría Samson in Havana, Cuba, the son of Lillian Samson Agostini, a schoolteacher, and Esteban Echevarria, a pilot who worked for Cubana Airlines. Bauer's maternal grandfather was a Jewish refugee from Germany, and Bauer's maternal grandmother was a Cuban of partial Italian ancestry. His stage surname comes from his maternal great-grandmother. Bauer's parents fled from Cuba to Miami, Florida, on July 4, 1960, following Fidel Castro's Revolution. He graduated from Miami Coral Park High School in 1974. Originally intending to become a musician, Bauer turned to acting while attending Miami-Dade Community College, but then transferred to the University of Miami, where he studied in its Department of Theater Arts and performed at its Jerry Herman Ring Theatre where he became friends with actor Ray Liotta.

After fleeing from her abusive stepfather, Nola (Emmy Rossum) travels to New York City searching for her biological father. She spends her first night sleeping in Central Park, but her luck changes when she is hired by the owner of a small diner. She ends up staying with the frycook/law school student Ben (James Badge Dale), until the real owner of the diner, and Ben's landlady Margaret (Mary McDonnell) hires Nola as her assistant for her escort service. Nola agrees, and a whirlwind of events lead her closer to finding her real father, but not without the help of a journalist (Steven Bauer) who is in need of a story on escort services.
