Graham Coxon discusses his signature Telecaster®
Graham Coxon emerged from the 1990s Britpop movement as one of the UK's most acclaimed and distinctive modern guitarists. Through his hit-filled career with Blur and a highly renowned solo career, his sonic paintbrush of choice is most often a Telecaster guitar, and Fender now honors him with the European-only release of the signature Graham Coxon Telecaster guitar. Coxon is well known as one of modern rock's most avid aficionados of the Telecaster—"The first guitar I reach for," he said, and "One of the guitars I used to draw when I was at school and dream of having." Now he has one with his own name on it. The Graham Coxon Telecaster has a distinctive combination of a Blonde finish ash body, tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage-style single-coil Telecaster bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan® '59 SH-1 humbucking neck pickup with a black bezel for tone ranging from clear and sharp to warm and round. Other features include a C-shaped maple neck with gloss urethane finish, rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 21 medium jumbo frets, three-position switch with "top hat" tip, knurled chrome knobs on 375k volume and tone pots that contribute to brighter sound from both pickups, vintage-style Telecaster bridge with three threaded steel saddles, chrome hardware, vintage-style tuners, '70s-style headstock decal and Coxon's signature on the back of the headstock.

Fender Telecaster Comparison
Short demo comparing my 1972 Fender Tele with original vintage Fender pickups with my parts build Tele, which has Fender Custom shop Nocaster pickups installed. The Parts guitar also has a Fender 4-way switch fitted which makes a big difference! As you can see here both guitars are plugged into my 1960's Vox AC-30 Top Boost amp, with no change in settings.

Fender Mexican Telecaster Guitar Review
I have heard them for years but never knew the amazing possibilities of the Fender Telecaster. I have always been a Strat guy but wow, these guitars rule. After trying many Telecasters out at Guitar Center, I ended up with a Mexican Telecaster. I liked the neck on it and the standard Telecaster sound.

Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster
In 1951, Fender revolutionized the solidbody electric guitar with one ingenious design, the Telecaster. To celebrate this rich history, Fender is offering the 60th Anniversary Telecaster, a limited edition guitar for 2011. This USA made Tele blends vintage '51 looks with a bit of today's technology. An Ash body with a Thinskin Lacquer finish loaded with vintage style alnico single coils lays the groundwork for proper Tele twang. Add a modern "C" maple neck and a 9.5" fretboard radius for comfortable fretting and you have an instrument that can handle any style. The Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster is further complimented by 22 Jumbo Frets, modern staggered tuners, and an American Tele 6 saddle bridge plus a commemorative neckplate to mark this special occasion. proguitarshop.com

Fender FSR Standard Telecaster
This Fender FSR Standard Telecaster is one of a limited run of standard Teles designed for a vintage look and hot-rodded tones. A butterscotch blonde Ash body gives this FSR Tele a Nocaster-like appearance, as well as an old-school Tele bite. The vintage-style ashtray bridge with brass saddles is essential for those twangy 50's tones, delivered with punch and clarity by a set of Hot Tele single coil pickups. Roy Buchanan-style volume swells and tone-knob wah sounds within easy reach with this FSR Tele's reversed control plate. The neck is a modern "C" with a 9.5" radius maple fretboard, a modern shape suited to fast runs, singing sustain, and big bends that don't choke out. A tinted satin urethane finish tops it off and completes the Fender FSR Standard Telecaster 's vintage look. - proguitarshop.com
