Additionally, the Janlynn Corporation has manufactured her designs in kit form for several years. In July 2005, Teresa announced to her fans that she'd be taking a leave of absence from cross stitch design to focus more on artwork with the first fruits of this new focus being a selection of art prints of pen and ink fantasy designs, also sold through TW Designworks. Zardozi or Zar-douzi (Persian and Urdu: زَردوزی , Hindi: ज़रदोज़ी) work is a type of embroidery in Iran, India and Pakistan.

Zardozi is a Persian word that means Sewing with gold string.

Zardozi is one of the most important elements of Persian cultural signs and Handicrafts. It is named around the country by names such Zar-douzi (Persian: زردوزی), Kam-douzi (Persian: کمدوزی), Gol-douzi (Persian: گلدوزی) and Kaman-douzi (Persian: کماندوزی). Today it is more popular in Hormozgan, especially in Bandar-e Lenge and Bandar-e Abbas and Minab that known as the center of that.[1] Persian Zardozi's are three kinds:
- Some are completely sewing the basic fabric with Bakhie (Persian: بخیه) in order to made made a new sight of pattern and colors, such as Baloch's Souzan-douzi (Persian: سوزندوزی), Rasht's Qollab-douzi (Persian: قلابدوزی) and Kerman's Pate-douzi (Persian: پَتهدوزی).
- Some are in different way sewing with less density of work on original fabric. In this way they cross the strings throughout the woof of the original fabric and sews this string to each other to made a lattice and colorful pattern. Such as Sekke-douzi (Persian: سکّهدوزی) and Qollab-douzi (Persian: قلابدوزی) in Isfahan.
- Another way is sewing a variety of patterns on original fabric with golden and silver strings. Such as Dah-Yek-Douzi (Persian: دهيکدوزی) (1 of 10 sewing which today is demode), Naqade-douzi (Persian: نقدهدوزی), Tafte-douzi (Persian: تافتهدوزی), Kous-douzi (Persian: خوسدوزی) Zari-douzi (Persian: زردوزی) or Golabatoun-douzi (Persian: گلابتوندوزی).[1]

This style of embroidery has been in existence in India from the time of the Rig Veda[citation needed]. It prospered during the Mugal Emperor, Akbar, but later a loss of royal patronage and industrialization led to its decline. Today, it is popular in the Indian cities of Lucknow, and Chennai.[2] The name zardozi is from Persian and means "sewing with gold".
