Southeast Asia (or Southeastern Asia) is a subregion of Asia, consisting of the countries that are geographically south of China, east of India and north of Australia. The region lies on the intersection of geological plates, with heavy seismic and volcanic activity. Southeast Asia consists of two geographic regions: the Asian mainland and island arcs and archipelagoes to the east and southeast. The mainland section consists of Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Peninsular Malaysia while the maritime section consists of Brunei, East Malaysia, East Timor, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore.[1] Papua New Guinea is an observer in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, as is East Timor. Geographically speaking southern China, Taiwan,[2] Hong Kong[3][4] and Macau[5] are sometimes grouped in the Southeast Asia subregion, although politically they are rarely grouped as such. The same is true for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India.[6][7] Austronesian peoples predominate in this region. The major religions are Islam and Buddhism, followed by Christianity. NO COPYRIGHT INTENDED!! A short video showing the beauty of the Hijab which refutes the common stereotype that all Muslim women are oppressed when in fact it is the very opposite. It is not a video that shows the true essence of Hijab but it is a simple video amongst many that shows Muslim woman in a different light to the typical -ve viewing that so many are accustomed to. It is not a religious video based on religious opinions but a video made up of a compilation of different pictures of how some of the Muslim woman exist today. NOTE: NO hateful comments will be allowed so don't bother posting them in the first place. Majority of the pictures used are of models and not necessarily how Muslim women wear the Hijab like. This video is made for girls to show that you're just as beautiful if you wear the headscarf :D Some of these styles may not be deemed as fufilling the proper requirements of Hijab but it's something that can be worn in all female gatherings if not outside or in the privacy of your own home if a woman doesn't want to take her scarf off :) Don't forget to rate and comment and enjoy!

You don't need any prior knowledge of these languages to study them at Cambridge but you do need imagination, perseverance and a sense of adventure. Have you ever wondered why politics and religion seem to be inseparable in the Middle East? Would you like to learn more about Japanese film and literature? All these topics and more are offered at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, where the areas of study range geographically from the Mediterranean to the Pacific, and in time from the classical era to the present day. These Africans who fled the Mongol onslaught can still be found in South East Asia and the Pacific Islands misnomer Nigritos or "small black men." The Agta of the Philippines is one such example.
