Chorley
Given an anonymous actuality - something that actually happened - and had to make it into a film conveying the emotions. What Chorley has to do with 'enjoyment' (as I percieved the feelings in the story to be) I'm not quite sure, but I enjoyed making it, regardless of the end result. Note the narrator may have improvised some bits...

Chorley Remembers - Remembrance Sunday 2012
Remembrance Sunday 2012 saw the Chorley War Memorial, recently upgraded by Chorley Remembers, used as the setting for the civic Act of Remembrance for the first time since improvements were completed. A crowd of over 1000 people attended to pay their respects to the men 737 from Chorley who have paid the ultimate sacrifice over the years, and who are now remembered permanently on the town's war memorial. Following the service in Astley Park, a short ceremony was held at the Chorley Pals Memorial. Chorley Remembers Secretary Steve Williams reports.

Astley Hall,Chorley Lancashire, Interior Views
The splendid interior views of Astley Hall, near Chorley, Lancashire captured with the Panasonic Lumix FZ200. Most exposures are less than 1/30 sec at ISO 500 and the interior bedrooms at ISO 1250. The hall itself was built by the Charnock family in 1578. It was inherited by the Brooke family in 1653 and in the 1660's they created the magnificent plaster ceilings in the great hall and drawing room. In 1788 the Townley-Parker family took over the house and the park was landscaped. the east wing and inlaid room added in 1825. In 1906 the house passed to Reginald Arthur Tatton who later donated the house to Chorley Corporation. in 2009 the coach house, walled garden and park re-opened after lottery funding.

White Coppice Chorley Lancashire.
White Coppice is a hamlet near Chorley, Lancashire, England. It was the most populated part of the township of Anglezarke in the 19th century. Close to the settlement in the early 19th century were quarries and small coal mines. The hamlet lies to the north of Anglezarke Reservoir in the Rivington reservoir chain built to provide water for Liverpool in the mid 19th century. To the south west is a hill known as Healey Nab. White Coppice had a cotton mill at the start of the Industrial Revolution. Its mill lodge provided water for a steam engine and before that the mill was powered by a waterwheel on the Black Brook. Around 1900 the mill was owned by Alfred Ephraim Eccles a supporter of the Temperance movement.
