Catholic Monarchy
I short video response to the Catholic bashers of monarchy. Know your faith and the history of your own Church. The Catholic Church has always supported monarchy, endorsed monarchy and been on the side of the monarchists. From Europe to the Americas the Church has always opposed revolutionary republicans and numerous popes and saints have openly endorsed monarchism. Catholics who think the Church opposes monarchy need to get past the post-60's hippie movement and read into the history and traditions of the Church for centuries back.

Monk Adso (10th Century): "Some of our teachers say that a King of the Franks will possess the entire Roman Empire. He will be the greatest and last of all Monarchs. HRH Caroline of Monaco - Catholic Monarch for the United States
First, my humblest apologies to the Mad Monarch, whose style I am copying in the spirit of "imitation is the highest form of flattery." This is not a new direction, only a temporary diversion in my work. Please join me on facebook: www.facebook.com and read about the Catholic and Royal Army of America: joanandtherese.net We know the Republic is lost. We know nothing is going to change. Only God can save us. And He will do that through a Catholic Monarchy.

The motto "Tanto Monta, Monta Tanto" appeared on the Spanish Royal Standard of the Catholic Kings from 1492-1506. The motto refers to both Catholic monarchs: Isabella and Ferdinand and loosely translates to: "As much as the one is worth, so much is the other" meaning that both King and Queen held equal authority. It was seen on the Spanish flags that Christopher Columbus brought to the New World. Later the motto was changed to "Plus Ultra" which is Latin for "More Beyond" referring to Spain and her lands in the Americas. Blues for the Great Discovery
INFO TO THE VIEWER: This video is not intended to prove that Christopher Columbus was the first to arrive to America. We know that before the Spanish expedition other humans were in that vast continent, but from the historic point of view, the only one trip with true importance and deep consequences in the historic, religious economic and political fields was made in 1492 by Christopher Columbus and his crew. Having said that let me clarify that my sole intention is to show the places which gave birth to the so-called "Discovery of America" and add some historical aspects unknown to most people and written in the following description. Thanks for your visit and understanding. One of the most significant dates during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs was 12th October 1492: the named Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. The fact that Columbus appealed to a foreign court to offer his services proved that the Discovery of America was not incidental. In fact Columbus recieved the letters of navigation to the unknown lands from "Alonso Sánchez de Huelva" The Columbus first intention was to offer his project to John II , king of Portugal, as his country was then more advanced exploring the Atlantic south along the African coast. The king's advisers rejected the project by considering, the Columbus calculations wrong and the distance to Asia much higher too. For some dark matter, Columbus had to flee from Portugal and seek help in Castile. But, why Columbus went to ...

Málaga, Costa del Sol
www.visitacostadelsol.com Except for the Phoenician remains found in the Museo Picasso, the citys most ancient monument is the Teatro Romano (Roman theatre, 100 BC) located at the foot of the Alcazaba. Its construction is similar to the Acinipo theatre in Ronda. A part of its proscenium, an entrance gallery, traces of the orchestra and a large part of the cavea (16 metres tall and with a radius of 31 metres) have been preserved. Its stone was used for the construction of the Alcazaba and for the foundation of the Casa de la Cultura (House of Culture), a building that was torn down in 1995 to restore the ancient monument. The Alcazaba dates from the early eleventh century, but it was in the middle of that century that King Badis of the Taifa kingdom of Granada turned it into one of the most important Muslim fortresses of the age by providing it with a triple fortified compound with several towers. The fortress interior housed the palace of the Muslim high command and quarters for the servants. After the Christian conquest it served as a residence for the Catholic Monarchs and Felipe IV. The fortress was abandoned during the eighteenth century and in the mid-nineteenth it was turned into a poor residential neighbourhood. It was designated a National Monument in 1931 and its restoration and reconstruction began at that time under the direction of the Málaga historian Juan Temboury and the architect Guerrero Strachan. The most interesting places on the premises are the Arco ...

Aranjuez
The Royal Site of Aranjuez was established by the Catholic Monarchs Isabel and Fernando. It was until the XVII Century, during the reign of Philip II, that the Royal Palace was built. But it took until the middle of the XVIII Century to became an open city, before that only relatives of the Monarch were allowed to live in the surroundings of the Royal Site. In 2001 the UNESCO listed the Aranjuez Cultural landscape as a World Heritage Site.

Moriscos 1 تاريخ الموريسكيين مع الباحثة أديبة روميرو
An interview in Arabic language with Adiba Romero, a Spanish researcher who talks about the Moriscos in Spain's past and present, and how they recently discovered their origins. A Morisco (in Spanish) or Mourisco (in Portuguese), meaning "Moor-like", was a converted (converso) Catholic inhabitant of Spain and Portugal of Muslim heritage. Over time the term was used in a pejorative sense applied to those nominal converso Catholics who were suspected of secretly practicing Islam (crypto-Muslim). In the medieval period al-Andalus Muslims who had come under Iberian Christian rule, as a result of the incremental Reconquista, were known as Mudéjars. There was a tolerance with discrimination, although with treatment as inferiors from Catholic authorities. The victory of the Catholic Monarchs in the Battle of Granada in 1492 ended the last Islamic rule and al-Andalus territory on the Iberian peninsula. The pre-established Treaty of Granada (1491) guaranteed religious and cultural freedoms for Muslims and Jews in the imminent transition from Emirate of Granada to Province of Castile. The Alhambra Decree (1492) promptly rescinded the Jews' rights, expelling both the observant and the conversos suspected of secretly practicing Judaism (crypto-Judaism) called Marranos. The Decree set a precedent for upcoming persecution and later expulsion of Muslims and Moriscos. Moriscos: en.wikipedia.org
