I have had my Wilson Combat 1911 47DAB .45 ACP 8 rd Magazines stored a long time with ammo, dropped them over and over again at the range, etc. and never had any issues. The Wilson Combat 1911 47DAB Magazines allow good slide operation, and drop free unlike some other manufactures like I point out in the video. This Wilson Combat 1911 47DAB Magazine has a aluminum base pad, unlike the 47D magazines which has a plastic base pad, which is the only difference between the two magazines. You will have some paint come off the base pad on the 47DAB, this is normal. If you do not like that than get the 47D wilson combat magazines. All in all, best magazines on the block! I wanted extra capacity mags for my PT145 and read that the 24/7 .45 ACP 12 rounders could be used successfully. I wanted a factory kind of solution for reliability and safety, and I had read that this could be done however there's really not ALOT of DEFINITIVE experience. I couldn't find any concrete proof it had worked so after Id read enough to get me to buy one to compare and try it, I can say after 150 rounds, not 1 FTF of ANY kind, including hollowpoints. Worked FLAWLESSLY. This is a factory Taurus 24/7 .45ACP mag, NO MODS whatsoever. My webcam sux but its all I have, Surely not an expert on much of anything, but hope the video was informative and helps some of you out with any questions Comments welcome. -B

The XD(M) (X-treme Duty-More) are a series of semi-automatic pistols that are polymer-framed and striker-fired. They closely resemble their predecessor, the HS2000 pistol (most widely known in the United States as Springfield Armory XD) Manufactured in the city of Karlovac, Croatia by HS Produkt (formerly IM Metal), the Springfield Armory XD(M) is the marketing name for the weapon, which is licensed and sold in the US by Springfield Armory, Inc The XDM is a polymer framed handgun with steel inserts and a mounting rail. While cosmetically looking superior to the original XD guns with its notably "all terrain" grip pattern, the angle and depth of each contour in the grip has been calculated for maximized control vertically, horizontally and torsionally. Glock 36 - over looked and underrated 45 acp

This gun is highly underrated. If you are looking for a smaller .45 pistol, then you should really look at the Glock 36. It's hard to beat the ergonomics of a Glock. One thing I really like about the Glock trigger is that it has such a tiny reset... so it's very easy to get multiple shots off. Para Gun Rights 1911 45 ACP

Quick look at the Para model PXT SS Gun Rights 1911 45 ACP. Nice middle of the road 1911 for the plinker down to the Competition guru. Features a match comp stainless steel ramped barrel (5 inches), 2 8-round magazines (I replaced with Chip McCormick mags) comp trigger, nice beavertail safety and comp thumb safety. Really nice fiber optic front sight (three colors included). I did change out the grip (stock) panels to a really nice G-10 set from Brownells, they have a nice relief chamfer for the mag release for quicker mag changes. Beautiful pistol, great shooter and a keeper for sure, dont know why it took so long to show it off! :)
