  Vancouver (/vænˈkuːvər/) is a coastal seaport city on the mainland of British Columbia, Canada. The 2011 census recorded more than 603,000 people in the city, making it the eighth largest among Canadian cities. The metropolitan area, with more than 2.3 million residents, is the third most populous metropolitan area in the country and the most populous in Western Canada. With 5,249 people per square kilometre (13,590 per sq mile), the City of Vancouver is the most densely populated Canadian municipality among those with 5,000 residents or more. Vancouver is one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada, with 52% for whom English is not their first language.
  The original settlement, named Gastown, grew around the Hastings Mill logging sawmill and a nearby tavern, both established in 1867. Enlarging to become the townsite of Granville, with the announcement that the railhead would reach the site it was renamed "Vancouver" and incorporated as a city in 1886. By 1887, the transcontinental railway was extended to the city to take advantage of its large natural seaport, which soon became a vital link in a trade route between the Orient, Eastern Canada, and London. As of 2009, Port Metro Vancouver is the busiest and largest port in Canada, and the most diversified port in North America. While forestry remains its largest industry, Vancouver is well known as an urban centre surrounded by nature, making tourism its second-largest industry. Major film production studios in Vancouver and Burnaby have turned Metro Vancouver into the third-largest film production centre in North America after Los Angeles and New York City, earning it the film industry nickname, Hollywood North.

  Ashton Holmes (born February 17, 1978) is an American film and television actor, best known for the role of Jack Stall in A History of Violence, Private Sidney Phillips in the HBO miniseries The Pacific, and as Tyler Barrol on the ABC drama series Revenge.
  Holmes was born in Albany, New York. At a young age he began taking acting lessons and appeared in community theater. He attended The Albany Academy. During his senior year of high school, he attended the intern program of the New York State Theater Institute.
  Holmes was involved with the Albany music scene, and was the lead singer for local band Method of Groove. During this time, Holmes befriended Nyack, New York band Coheed and Cambria, and began shopping around their demos to local indie labels. According to the Coheed and Cambria documentary Neverender: Children of The Fence Edition, in which Holmes appears, it was Holmes who eventually earned them their first record deal with Equal Vision Records.
  Holmes made his debut on television with a regular role in the daytime soap opera One Life to Live. In 2005 he starred of David Cronenberg's movie A History of Violence. The next year, He had a recurring role on ABC's series Boston Legal. He also appeared in films Peaceful Warrior in 2006, What We Do Is Secret and Normal Adolescent Behavior in 2007. In 2007 Holmes co-starred Emily Blunt in the horror film Wind Chill. In 2008 he appeared in the comedy-drama film Smart People.

Simmons breakthrough was the notable role of Laurie Ann Winterbarger in the award winning Stephen King's It.   Martin Donovan (born August 19, 1957) is an American film, stage and television actor. He has had a long collaboration with director Hal Hartley, appearing in many of Hartley's films, such as Trust (1990), Surviving Desire (1991), Simple Men (1992), Flirt (1993), Amateur (1994), and The Book of Life (1998; in which he played Jesus). When he was a child, his family moved from Atlanta to Charlottesville, Virginia, where he lived during his adolescence, then moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where his father became Dean of Education at Louisiana State University (LSU).
