In today's NTD China News, Beijing responds to the election of Japan's new Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, who's known for his tough stance on the territorial dispute between the two countries. The European Union has highlighted China in its annual Human Rights report. Chinese rights activist Hu Jia says he was assaulted outside his home last Friday by plainclothes security officials. He was trying to attend a memorial ceremony for a victim of the Cultural Revolution. He's now under illegal house arrest. One woman has died in eastern Zhejiang province after a six-story building collapsed. There is growing anger in Hong Kong towards a group that has suspected links to the Chinese regime. The Hong Kong Youth Care Association has been targeting local Falun Gong practitioners since June this year, and the Hong Kong public wants authorities to stop the Association's activities. Chinese netizens have lambasted state-run media after CCTV ran extensive coverage of last Friday's school shooting in Connecticut, USA, while largely ignoring a school stabbing in Henan province. Will Ghotak succeed or fail in his Challenge? Chidiya Ghar' is no zoo but a house named after Late Mrs. Chidiya Narayan, wife of retired principal, Shri Kesari Narayan. The story is about Kesari his two sons, Gomukh and Ghotak, their respective wives, Mayuri and Koel, younger son Kapi, grandchildren Gillu and Gaj, daughter Maina and Son in law Tota. Coincidentally their names resemble animals as is the case of every individual bearing some or the other animal's characteristic.There are some who're restless like monkeys and then there are others who'd have an appetite like elephants; some would be swift as a horse and then there'd be some as slow as a donkey. The journey from a four legged creature to a two legged one inculcating basics of human values like love, respect for others, patience and the true meaning of a family and togetherness is what makes us humans. SpaceX's Grasshopper takes a 12-story leap towards full and rapid rocket reusability in a test flight conducted December 17, 2012 at SpaceX's rocket development facility in McGregor, Texas. Grasshopper, a vertical takeoff and landing vehicle (VTVL), rose 131 feet (40 meters), hovered and landed safely on the pad using closed loop thrust vector and throttle control. The total test duration was 29 seconds. Grasshopper stands 10 stories tall and consists of a Falcon 9 rocket first stage, Merlin 1D engine, four steel landing legs with hydraulic dampers, and a steel support structure.

2010 The Animation Workshop
My Bachelorfilm from The Animation Workshop. Set to the song "Slow Show" by The National, who were kind enough to allow me to use their music. It is a non-commercial short film, intended for festivals.
It is shot in the forests surrounding Viborg, Denmark. My main inspiration was victorian litterature, and "Boxer" by the national. It was painful to finish, as shooting stop motion in the forest at night for longer periods turned out to offer alot of problems :) But it was also great fun and adventure.

Burial's eponymous debut album was released in 2006 to critical acclaim. The Wire magazine named it their album of the year and it came fifth in the Mixmag 2006 Album of the Year list. On Friday, September 28, a message on the Hyperdub website announced a new Burial album. Untrue was released on November 5, 2007. Metacritic gave it album of the year 2007. Label owner Kode9 also posted tracklistings to dubstepforum.com. The vinyl and CD releases of the album feature different running orders and also have exclusive tracks. Although both albums have been met with much critical acclaim Burial had remained anonymous- in an interview, the artist has said "only five people know I make tunes". However, in February 2008 The Independent reported that Burial was an alumnus of south London's Elliott School named William Bevan (another alumnus, Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, said in 2006 that Burial was in the year above him).Burial's page on BMI's Repertoire Search credits all his songs to William Bevan.
