IN 1958, RONNIE KNIGHT DROVE THE GETAWAY CAR WHEN THE KRAY TWINS BEAT UP RIVALS.
Ronnie Knight:
So when Ronnie and them got out, they was koshed up with hammers choppers and everything you could think of and they smashed the door right in. Just walked in and says who wants trouble now, we're the Kray twins. Who wants it?
BUT PRIOR TO MEETING THE KRAYS, RONNIE HAD RECRUITED HIS YOUNGER BROTHER AS HIS PARTNER IN CRIME.
John Knight:
My first crime I ever did was when my brother Ron come to me and asked me to get in a small fan light over a top of a door and take the cash drawer till out and pass it out of the fanlight.
Ronnie Knight:
I was too big for that so I thought the only person who could do that was my Johnnie 'cos he was a lot younger'n me and lot smaller'n me. He come out with a prize.

I took to crime because I used to see the old villains very smart looking, dressed, and everyone was ducking and diving about, there was loads of rascals, so perhaps I'd join the band robbers.

John Knight:
By the time I was twenty, I was doing a lot of things. Looking for lorry loads, taking and driving away lorry loads. I could always ask Ronnie for a helping hand if he wanted to earn some extra money.
Ronnie Knight:
We trusted one another and I would never leave him and he would never leave me.

Starring Geoffrey Rush, Joaquin Phoenix, and Kate Winslet. The infamous writer, The Marquis de Sade of 18th Century France, is imprisoned for unmentionable activities at Charanton Insane Asylumn. He manages to befriend the young Abbe de Coulmier, who run's the asylum, along with a beautiful laundress named Madeline. Things go terribly wrong when the Abbe finds out that the Marquis' books are being secretly published. Emperor Napolean contemplates sending Dr. Royer-Collard to oversee the asylumn, a man famed for his torturous punishments. It could mean the end of Charanton and possibly the Marquis himself.

Geoffrey Rush has now celebrated 40 years as an Australian actor, achieving the rare international distinction of the 'Triple Crown' -- an Oscar, a Tony and an Emmy. He also has three Australian Film Institute honours, three British Academy Awards, two Golden Globes, four Screen Actors' Guild Awards, and last year was inducted into the ranks of Australia's elite with a Helpmann Award. When he received his fourth Academy Award nomination playing Australian therapist Lionel Logue in The King's Speech which he also executively produced, the revival of Belvoir's The Diary of a Madman played to acclaim in Sydney and in New York. He starred in and executive-produced Fred Schepisi's film of Patrick White's Nobel Laureate-winning novel The Eye of the Storm, and played Lady Bracknell in the MTC's celebrated production of The Importance of Being Earnest. Seen as a creative mentor by many, Geoffrey philanthropically supports young actors and arts companies. He is Patron of the Melbourne International Film Festival; of Toowoomba's Empire Theatre Foundation distributing bursaries to young performers; and of the Spina Bifida Foundation Victoria. He is an Ambassador for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and UNICEF Australia. In 2011 he was honoured to be appointed as foundation President of the newly-established Australian Academy Of Cinema and Television Arts.
