Japji Sahib English Explanation Katha of 36th Pauri
Subscribe, like, freely share and join us on FB and twitter. This video focuses on the 36th Pauri of Sri Japji Sahib, where Guruji explains the third spiritual state, ie of Saram Khand, where the spiritual seeker becomes a true worshipper, gaining humility and then working hard to transform the mind, thinking, wisdom and understanding to a divine spiritual state. In this state, the worshipper has moved past being in Jagrat Avastha and Svapan Avastha to Sukhopat Avastha, where what was their mind (being reformed) has now started to go into the deep dreamless sleep of absorption into the Divine One.
We sing Vaheguru Simran and kirtan of "GurSikh Meet Chalo Gur Chaali" by Guru Raamdaas Paatshah. The kirtan was done by Veer Ravinderpal Singh from TavPrasaad Kirtan Jatha. Please see their youtube channel linked to our channel for more kirtan with English translations.

This video focuses on the 32nd Pauri of Sri Jap Ji Sahib where Guru Nanak Sahib states "Ik Du Jibo Lakh Hohe, Lakh Hoveh Lakh Vis ". We look at the idea of repeating Gods name again and again, ie Naam Japna and this has been given as the first step in the path of Enlightenment and merging with the Husband Creator. We examine why Gods Name has been given such a high status and what else is involved in this path. We also see how this pauri gives Guruji's view about 'Shubh Icha', i.e., the first stage of the seven stages of Enlightenment within Giaan Yoga from the Vedantic philosophy of the Upanishads.
We sing Vaheguru Simran and kirtan of "Keerat Prabh Ke Gaao Meri Rasna". The kirtan was done by Bibi Gurbinder Kaur from Southall, who is part of the Acapella Jatha.

This video focuses on the 29th Pauri of Sri Jap Ji Sahib where Guru Nanak Sahib states "Bhugat Giaan, Daaeaa Bhandaran, Ghat Ghat Vaaje Naad". We look at what is giaan, ie spiritual knowledge and the qualities of a GIani? We then consider why this is described as food and examine why compassion requires this spiritual food to be distributed. We introduce our latest endeavor, Plan BE13 as its related to serving this spiritual langar.
We also examine look at the writings of Guru Arjan Dev ji and Guru Gobind Singh ji regarding doing Vaheguru Simran. We examine the idea of the supreme master of all, ie Vaheguru and how our destiny/actions determines how far we are from this spiritual experience of God.
We sing Vaheguru Simran and kirtan of "Bandhana Har Bandhana" by Guru Arjan Patshah. The kirtan was done by Sukhmani Kaur from Hayes (previously from Russia).

This video focuses on the 34th Pauri of Sri Jap Ji Sahib where Guru sahib goes through Dharam Khand, the first of the five khands or spiritual states. Here Guruji sets out the fact that this human life is very precious and has come with a purpose, ie to meet Vaheguru and manifest those godly qualities in our life. So the miri piri doctrine corresponds to the spiritual and social purpose of the human life and to that end, society and the sadhsangat end up as the two dharamsalas we have. This pauri also introduces us to the fact that we will be judged based upon our actions on these two planes and that only those people will be found acceptable to pass through that are the "Panch". We explore what "Panch' means in Sikhi.
We sing Vaheguru Simran and kirtan of "So Asthan Batavo Meeta, Jaa Kai Keertan Har Har Neeta" by Guru Arjan Paatshah. The kirtan was done by Sukhmani Kaur, tabla Amritpal Singh (www.qi-rattan.com, www.thekdp.com).

We also examine the state of the manmukh, ie of being Iron, and Guruji as the philosophers stone to apply the midas touch.
