HIV structure Life Cycle Inside Lymphocte
Target cells — HIV-1 most often enters the host through the anogenital mucosa. The viral envelope protein, glycoprotein (GP)-120, binds to the CD4 molecule on dendritic cells. Interstitial dendritic cells are found in cervicovaginal epithelium as well as tonsillar and adenoidal tissue, which may serve as initial target cells in infection transmitted via genital-oral sex.ewly acquired HIV infection is more commonly due to transmission of macrophage tropic rather than T cell tropic viruses.Viral entry into these cells is mediated by different coreceptors. In order to enter macrophages, GP-120 must bind to the chemokine receptor CCR5 as well as CD4.Macrophage tropic viruses are designated as R5 in comparison to T cell tropic viruses, which are called X4, based upon the CXCR4 receptor on these cells.Patients homozygous for a deletion in CCR5 are relatively resistant to R5 infection, but cases of X4 infection have rarely been reported in these individuals.

The Mountain

This was filmed between 4th and 11th April 2011. I had the pleasure of visiting El Teide.
Spain´s highest mountain @(3718m) is one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars and is also the location of Teide Observatories, considered to be one of the world´s best observatories.
The goal was to capture the beautiful Milky Way galaxy along with one of the most amazing mountains I know El Teide. I have to say this was one of the most exhausting trips I have done. There was a lot of hiking at high altitudes and probably less than 10 hours of sleep in total for the whole week. Having been here 10-11 times before I had a long list of must-see locations I wanted to capture for this movie, but I am still not 100% used to carrying around so much gear required for time-lapse movies.
A large sandstorm hit the Sahara Desert on the 9th April (http://bit.ly/g3tsDW) and at approx 3am in the night the sandstorm hit me, making it nearly impossible to see the sky with my own eyes.
Interestingly enough my camera was set for a 5 hour sequence of the milky way during this time and I was sure my whole scene was ruined. To my surprise, my camera had managed to capture the sandstorm which was backlit by Grand Canary Island making it look like golden clouds. The Milky Way was shining through the clouds, making the stars sparkle in an interesting way. So if you ever wondered how the Milky Way would look through a Sahara sandstorm, look at 00:32.

Earth
Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions
28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October,
2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.
All credit goes to them.
HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.

GH 9-13-11(3of3)(Maxie: Kidnapped! Raped?)
What the science and medical evidence concludes is that the HIV enzyme seeks out a receptor site in the blood of the Black genome. The receptor site is the CCR5 Delta 32+ (positive) gene that all people of color have. In the same sense, on the other end of the spectrum, is the 15 percent Caucasian population of the world, which is CCR5 Delta 32-(negative) gene. That means that under no circumstances, whether HIV came through the air, intravenous drug usage or any form of the sexual activity, would the virus be transferable in this sector of the world's population, which is basically of northern European descent. It is speculated by some experts that, in a worse case scenario, 85 percent of the world's population could potentially perish under these designer viruses and designer synthetic biological agents. What we're looking at here—because of this identified gene of the Black genome, this CCR5 Delta32+ (positive)—we are potentially looking at the eradication of all people of color.

Myles Jackson (Director of Science and Technology Studies, NYU-Poly), "Intellectual Property and Molecular Biology Biomedicine, Commerce, and the CCR5 Gene Patent." Professor of the history of science at Gallatin, Myles Jackson is also the Polytechnic Institute of NYU's Dibner Family Professor of the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology, director of science and technology studies at NYU-Poly, senior faculty fellow of NYU-Poly's Othmer Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, and head of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. He is currently serving as an expert witness for the ACLU on the challenging of the BRCA 1 and 2 genes and working on a new project dealing with issues of intellectual property germane to the CCR5 gene. This lecture was given at the University of York on 13th June 2011, it was organised by the IPBio Network and sponsored by the White Rose Consortium. The video was recorded and edited by Berris Charnley.
