www.lightbeampro.com Interview with Congolese Red Cross. Over five million people have died during the past decade as a result of the war in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Few people are aware of the unimaginable scale of human suffering, death, and destruction that has occurred in this vast country deep in the heart of Africa. In the aftermath of this brutal war, children have endured the brunt of the suffering. This 67 minute film documents the plight of thousands of street children living in Kinshasa and confirms the wide-spread accusations of child witchcraft, torture and child prostitution. The film also examines the efforts to reintegrate demobilized child soldiers, displaced refugees, and orphaned children following the eruption of the massive Nyiragongo volcano, near the city of Goma in Eastern Congo. These heroic efforts are finally bringing some measure of hope and stability to the lives of the Congolese people. Dan Balluff's "Children of Congo From War to Witches" is a must see film, showing individuals and organizations that are implementing positive change for the children and the people of the Democtatic Republic of Congo. Escenas tomadas desde Tenerife, a más de 2.000 metros sobre el nivel del mar y a lo largo de un año, para poder captar todos los posibles matices, nubes, estrellas, colores desde un paisaje único y desde uno de los mejores cielos del planeta.
Primero de una serie de vídeos Time Lapse nocturnos y crepusculares tomados en las Islas Canarias tratando de captar la belleza de cada isla.
Para captar el movimiento natural de la tierra, estrellas nubes, sol y Luna se usó la técnica TimeLapse, raíles Dolly verticales y horizontales, cabezales con movimientos horizontal y vertical. toma de datos HDR.

Daniel López es fotógrafo y astrofotógrafo que vive en Tenerife. Trabaja realizando fotografía y vídeo, especializado en nocturnas usando multitud de técnicas, desde cámara con trípode para captar cielo y tierra en la misma foto, telescopios amateur para realizar fotografías de los objetos astronómicos hasta telescopios profesionales para captar detalles y alta resolución. Scenes taken from Tenerife, more than 2,000 meters above sea level and over a year to capture all possible shades, clouds, stars, colors from a unique landscape and from one of the best skies on the planet.
First in a series of videos nocturnal and crepuscular Time Lapse taken in the Canary Islands trying to capture the beauty of each island.
To capture the natural movement of the earth, stars, clouds, sun and moon TimeLapse technique was used, Dolly vertical and horizontal rails, spindles with horizontal and vertical movements. HDR data collection.

Finally got around to finishing this video. It has been forever ago since i was in Japan. Its been about 7 months now. Yeah i have been slacking, but i have been motivated again. Ever since Japan was struck by the Eartquakes etc, I have been working my ass off doing stickers that i am making and doing for charity and then donating all the profits to Red Cross Japan Relief Fund. This really got me motivated to finish my Japan video. I saw pictures of places i had shot that were ruined and i wanted to relive my experience.

This trip was by far the best i have ever been on. Everything in Japan is just so much different and getting to experience these drivers and watching them tandem so close is unreal. LITERALLY. Ebisu Circuit is awesome, and so are all the drivers and everyone in Japan.
***Also Walker Wilkerson got to drive here. He is in the black hatch with no front bumper on!***
One thing i lacked and had trouble with was a tripod. Next time i will have more gear!!! I ended up using my steadicam as a tripod somewhat

and the glory of banjos in Baton Rouge, their juices course through them like
ageless autumn lemons,
like mom's fragrant pot pie, chocked full of juicy stew, widens the gullet,
and, baked, cries out blooming peach tree blossoms.

What would you say to some barbecue ribs, burning hot
grilled on a charcoal fire in June on the banks of a man made lake,
pines or cedar trees that sum up the dramatic atmosphere of a

MORE THAN 90 PERCENT OF ALL BOLTS FIRE WITHIN CLOUDS. BUT A HIGHLY CHARGED STORM WILL FIRE A CASCADE OF ELECTRICAL CHARGE TO EARTH, DRAWN TO THE HIGHEST POINT. A TREE OR A BLADE OF GRASS CAN TRIGGER LIGHTNING, OR EVEN A PERSON. EACH YEAR, 100O PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD DIE FROM DIRECT HIT. A LIGHTNING BOLT IS ONLY 3 CM WIDE. There was this giant flash of lighting that reached from the ground through the base of the cloud, completed illuminated the cloud, and out the top from the ground, in this beautiful double helix pattern, that seemed to just go on forever. It was just like it was going straight into space.

I wrote an article in one of the flying magazines, and asked pilots to tell me if they'd seen any unusual lightning, or anything out of the ordinary. A number of pilots, about 19 of them, sent me letters telling me about this kind of a thing.

All of a sudden, POW! Just a split second, this huge bolt of lightning came out of the top and disappeared into deep blue space. The captain turned to me and said, wide eyed, and said did you see that? And so I said yes, and so we turned and told the flight engineer, and he said, that's impossible. Lightning doesn't go up.

All proceeds go to the Japanese Red Cross in support of their efforts to help in the aftermath of the Japanese Earthquake.
