Yasmin Zarine Shahmir (born December 21, 1988), who performs under the mononym Yasmin, is a British DJ and singer-songwriter. She is signed to record label Levels Entertainment, an imprint of Ministry of Sound and began her singing career in October 2010 when she appeared on rapper Devlin's single "Runaway". Her debut single, "On My Own," was released on 30 January 2011.

Shahmir was born in Manchester, England to an Iranian father and Scottish mother. At a young age she moved from Manchester and was raised in Kilmacolm, near Glasgow in Scotland.

Yasmin began her musical career when she was seventeen years and left university, moving to London, where she focused on DJing. During her time in London, Shahmir was spotted and asked to DJ for many artists, including N*E*R*D, POB^{[disambiguation needed ]} and Taio Cruz.

Throughout September and October 2010, Yasmin supported British rapper Example on his headline tour of the United Kingdom, alongside Devlin and little known singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. Yasmin was then featured on Devlin's second official single, "Runaway", for which Yasmin wrote and provided vocals for the chorus. The single was released in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2010, where it debuted at number 15 on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 18 in Scotland and number 48 in Europe.

Born in 1942 in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, Ms. Fauzia Yasmin (popularly known as Fauzia Khan) was one of the most popular vocal artists of the then East Pakistan during the 1960s. Her father Mr. Lutfar Rahman belonged to former Provincial Civil Service of British India and her mother Begum Mouluda Khatun comes of an aristocratic family of Murshidabad, who also was a vocal artiste taking music lessons from eminent musician Ustaad Kader Baksh.

Fauzia Yasmin started her music lesson with the inspiration of her mother. She took music lessons from the distinguished musicians Ustaad Yousuf Khan Qureshi, and Ustaad Mohammad Fazlul Huq. She became a vocal artiste of the then Radio Pakistan in 1960. She took part in National Television programs since its inception in 1965. She used to perform Modern Bengali songs, Nazrul Sangeet, Folk and Rhyme songs along with Urdu Geet and Ghazals. She was also a playback singer and rendered voice in a number of films. She has also discs with popular songs. She participated in musical conferences and soirees both home and abroad. She visited a number of countries including Pakistan, England, and Australia, and took part in music programs. She was accorded with many prestigious awards.

Yasmin Levy (Hebrew: יסמין לוי‎), born on December 23, 1975 in Jerusalem, is an Israeli singer-songwriter of Judaeo-Spanish music.

Her late father, Yitzhak (Isaac) Levy (1919–1977), was a composer and cantor, pioneer researcher into the long and rich history of the Ladino music and culture of Spanish Jewry and its diaspora, being the editor of the Ladino language magazine Aki Yerushalayim. With her distinctive and emotive style, Yasmin has brought a new interpretation to the medieval Ladino/Judeo-Spanish song by incorporating more "modern" sounds of Andalusian Flamenco and Persian, as well as combining instruments like the darbuka, oud, violin, cello, and piano. In her second album, La Judería (Sp: "The Jewish Quarter"), she also covered the popular songs Gracias a la Vida by Violeta Parra and Nací en Alamó from the film Vengo, directed by Tony Gatlif, which in its original version won the 2001 César Award for Best Music Written for a Film (itself being a cover of "Το Τραγούδι των Γύφτων" ["To Traghoudi ton Yifton", "The Song of the Gypsies"], written by Greek songwriter Dionysis Tsaknis in 1990).

David Broza (דויד ברוזה, born September 4, 1955) is a multi-platinum Israeli singer-songwriter and guitarist.

The son of an Israeli–British businessman and a folk singer, Broza was born in Haifa, Israel. He was raised and educated in England and Spain, where he was schooled at Runnymede College, in Madrid. Broza's grandfather, Wellesley Aron, co-founded the Arab-Israeli peace settlement, Neve Shalom – Wāħat as-Salām (The Oasis of Peace) and the Habonim youth movement. Young David Broza originally planned to become a graphic artist, and by age 17 he was selling his paintings in the Rastro, Madrid's Sunday flea market. Following high school, and while serving in the Israel Defence Forces, he began playing guitar in cafes to earn extra money. Eventually he was offered a record deal, but as he still hoped to attend the Rhode Island School of Design, he declined. He later recorded a tape to promote his live shows.

Broza was married to Ruti, from whom he is divorced. He has three children. He lived in Cresskill, New Jersey, United States for 17 years. He resides in Tel Aviv and is a member of Kehilat Sinai, a Masorti synagogue.

Shy FX is the pseudonym of Andre Williams, an English DJ and Producer from London. He specializes in Drum and Bass and Jungle music.

Shy FX's debut record was "Jungle Love" released in 1992. Soon after, he signed to Sound of Unground Records and released "Original Nuttah", featuring UK Apachi in 1994. Throughout his career he has worked with T Power, both as Ebony Dubsters and Shy FX and T Power; their 2002 track "Shake Ur Body" with vocalist Di was a #7 hit in the UK Singles Chart. In 2005 he founded Digital Soundboy Recordings.

Shy FX and T Power then released the album, Diary Of A Digital Sound Boy on 17 October 2005. It included songs such as "Feelings", "On The Run" and "Plastic Soul". Shy FX and T Power also released "Don't Wanna Know", which featured featuring Di and Skibadee. The song was used on the television programme Soccer AM, as part of the 'Skills Skool' feature.

He produced "Da Feelin" for Dizzee Rascal's 2007 album, Maths + English. He also produced "Can't Tek No More" on Dizzee Rascal's 2009 album, Tongue N' Cheek. He remixed "She Said", a #3 UK chart single by Plan B. His remix was released on both the "She Said" single, and on the deluxe edition of Plan B's The Defamation of Strickland Banks.
