Reverse of soldiers and Argentinian flag STORYLINE Hundreds of people took part in a parade in Port Stanley on Sunday to support a 'Yes' vote in the current referendum on whether the Falkland Islands will remain a territory of the United Kingdom. The two-day vote began on Sunday and asked islanders to answer a simple yes-or-no question: "Do you wish the Falkland Islands to retain their current political status as an Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom?" Those supporting a 'yes' result were out in force with an convoy of around 400 vehicles all flying Union Jacks taking part in a parade through the capital.
