This theater style is mainly played in the coastal districts and Malenadu regions of Karnataka, India[1] and traditionally played for whole night, till sunrise next morning). This shortened version of the play is Bhasmasura Mohini, played by Gp Capt Mahesh Kalkar and Priya Raghavendra of Indian Air Force during a cultural occasion on 14 Apr 2012. While the dialogues are in Hindi, the songs are in Kannada, obtained and edited from the videos of various Yakshgana performances on the same topic, Bhasmasura- Mohini.
