UFO Crash In The Baltic Sea?
Using side-scan sonar, a research team found a 60-meter diameter cylinder-shaped object, with a rigid tail 400 meters long at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. On another pass over the object, the sonar showed a second disc-like shape 200 meters away. Is it a spaceship, a Russian warship or an ordinary stone formation? It looks like it's been down there for a long time. Would the WWII theories and Russian warship explanations suffice? It looks startlingly like the Millenium Falcon spacecraft from Star Wars. Could this be evidence of ancient alien visitations from the distant past? Also interesting to note that since the initial discovery researchers have not been able to get back into the area to explore this more thoroughly due to Russian and US military presence. They are presumably conducting excercises in the area. **Update- Researchers have made it back to the area and recent posts on their website seem to indicate an interesting find. Mysterious Baltic Sea Object Analyzed
Swedish seafaring treasure hunters Ocean X Team made headlines last year with the accidental discovery of a mysterious circular object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. Now, thanks to more exploration and a laboratory analysis of stones on and around the object, they're a step closer to lifting the veil on the mystery. The stones that lay on the object turned out to be red granite which came with the ice age. Ocean X Team member Dennis Åsberg's theory is when the ice melted, the stones landed on the object. That would mean it should have been there more than 140 000 years. Recent examination of the object has revealed a hole about two meters in diameter and that the object is not anchored to the ground. [Dennis Åsberg, Ocean X Team]: "We have discovered that the object is separated from the ocean floor it's laying on a ridge, we've investigated the object with the ROV robot and looked at the object from below. One can see that the bottom and the object is separated. " Ocean X Team have now made their third expedition to the mysterious object. The material of the object is too hard, so it has not been possible to remove anything from it yet, says Dennis. But they have managed to bring up some stones that have been on and around the anomaly for analysis. The team have also found many black magma-like stones at the site. Mysterious Baltic Sea Object Raises More Questions
Ocean X team returns from their first expedition investigating the mysterious object they discovered in the Baltic Sea. The expedition was supposed to provide answers, but instead yielded yet more questions. It has also broadened the minds of those involved! [Peter Lindberg, Treasure Hunter]: "We have experienced things that I really couldn't imagine and I have been the team's biggest skeptic regarding these different kind of theories. I was kind of prepared just to find a stone or cliff or outcrop or pile of mud but it was nothing like that, so for me it has been a missing experience I must say." The team were completely dwarfed by the mysterious object, which is about 60 meters in diameter and lying almost 80 meters down on the bottom of the Baltic Sea. There are visible formations on top of the object, which are set at a 90 degree angle and look like passageways or walls, as well as something that looks like it could be a staircase. The divers also found a hole about 25 centimeters in diameter, though it is not yet known where it leads. In addition, they found circular forms of small rocks that appear to have been placed like a pearl necklace. Geologists who follow their work haven´t been able to explain what it is yet. Ocean X Team is now ready with a ship and a crew to return to spot X. A year has passed since two treasure hunters found a mysterious UFO like object at the bottom of the Baltic sea. With huge public interest and a secret sponsor, they are now prepared to return for further investigation. Peter Lindberg says that depending on what they find, and as long as it is safe, they will send down divers. [Peter Lindberg, Treasure Hunter]: "We have equipment with us so we can do three dimensional sea floor mapping, bottom penetrating equipment, we can see where the bedrock under the clay and so on. We have divers, we have robot, sophisticated sonar, we will take bottom samples, we will measure for radiation and we will also bring tests with us so we can leave it to a lab." Putting the equipment through stress testing in the sub zero degree waters of the Baltic sea. As expected, the visibility was extremely poor; the first dive ~ 1 meter, second dive ~ 0.5 meters. Good test of navigational skills and dive team awareness, and we even collected two beer cans from the sea bed Thanks to our surface support Lovisa Jonasson and to Beyond Limits, KSDK and Måns.

This is the trailer for the upcoming 9th shortfilmfestival "Flensburger Kurzfilmtage / Tricky" in Flensburg / northern Germany. Filmed in one day on a canon 5D together with Joachim Freitag.

Flensburg is a mid-to-small-size town in the north of Germany, situated around a fjord, next to the baltic sea and the border to Danmark.
If you live here, especially as a teenager or young adult, you will probably like it - but you will not think it is cool. So we thought that it could be nice for the people coming to the festival to experience Flensburg in a new way - to make Flensburg look kind of urban, rotten, strange and cool - but still Flensburg.

Joachim and I got to know each other through a strange phone call in which I boldly claimed to be After Effects god, not knowing that I am so much not - as he definitely is! Being close friends since then we never had the chance to work together on a film project, which is strange, since we always felt that we would be the perfect team.
This is our first film together. As it turns out, we were right. He is the fallback on everything I can do better and vice versa. So we always had two DOPs on the set and two motion artists in the post, and we knew when it was better to rely on the opinion of the other for the sake of the better output in the film.
There is more to come from this team in the future - trust us :-)

Special Report : Gobekli Tepe & Baltic Sea Mysteries
Over three segments, investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed the mysterious Gobekli Tepe site in Turkey, where she recently conducted field research along with Prof. of Geology, Robert M. Schoch. The excavated site, which has been carbon dated 12000 years old, contains 30 acres of pillar circles, with around 250 pillars, each weighing 7-10 tons, she detailed. Oddly, the entire site seems to have been intentionally buried about 1000 years after it was built, and only 5% of the pillars have been uncovered since 1994. The amount of effort to bury the site dwarfs the massive endeavor to originally build it, Schoch commented in a taped interview with Linda. He conjectured that the site's burial may have been associated with coming Ice Age climate shifts or solar outbursts. Describing the site as looking like "an alien creation," Linda pondered whether it might have functioned as a kind of giant machine or tuning fork. She also described some of the bizarre carved creatures on the pillars, as well as eerie totem (see below). One sculpture retrieved from the site labeled "Urfa Man" has haunting black eyes depicted by crystals of obsidian, a sunken chin with no mouth whatsoever, and bears resemblance to some of the Moai heads in Easter Island, thousands of miles away. Interestingly, Schoch noted that the oldest part of the Sphinx may date to a time concurrent with the Gobekli site. For more, see the full Earthfiles reports.
